I almost never review apps, but Been earned it. I tried a few travel trackers and they were either ugly, messy, or felt like old websites. This one just clicked. No tutorial, I tapped cities/countries and suddenly my map was filling up. weirdly satisfying, and it made me realise I’ve been to more places than I thought. Replaced my notes spreadsheet too. tiny bugs here and there, but honestly wish I found it earlier

Been is like that travel buddy who sticks around for all your adventures. It's not just for one trip; it grows with you and your travel stories, capturing memories over time. I love how it’s got a chill vibe and isn’t all flashy like other apps. It makes me feel like I'm building my own travel timeline. Seriously, it aged like fine wine with all my trips!

2/5Feel Scammed
I was really excited when I found this app and paid for the lifetime membership to be able to add cities I’ve been to. For the cities, it doesn’t show what state they’re in so it’s incredibly unhelpful for most of the Unites States. Also, MANY of the cities in the US (even major ones) won’t let me select them. A significant number of them just stay greyed out no matter what. Incredibly frustrated that I wasted money on this.

Interesting - but poorly developed as regards the USA. It doesn’t recognize that there are multiple cities with the same name - and only allows one - so if you click on Jackson for example it highlights Jackson NH (a vary small town) and totally ignores Jackson MS (a mid sized city). Similarly Richmond highlights somewhere in the mid West and doesn’t allow you to select Richmond VA (the more obvious choice). Good idea - but poorly executed. You need to add states after the names.

REGIONS COME TO 29 NEW COUNTRIES We've added regions across 29 new countries - France, Italy, Spain, Germany, the UK, Canada, Mexico, and 22 more. Open any supported country and mark the states and provinces you've been to. A BRAND NEW MAP We rebuilt our map from the ground up - try it, it's much much faster now. ANTARCTICA NOW COUNTS Antarctica previously wasn't counted as one of the visited continents. It's all fixed now, sorry for that.
