2/5Good app bad company
I really like the potential that this app has. So far the companies that make up valley metro (or whatever) make it so the app is trash. 1 out of 3 trips are cancelled and the app just says “delayed 5 min” until the next bus comes or “scheduled, no live vehicle data” until after the time the bus is supposed to be there then it will suddenly say cancelled. If there was a way these companies could communicate that a route trip is cancelled earlier through the app it would really help otherwise just standing at a bus stop while two buses that were supposed to be there never come in 115 degree heat is killer while the app keeps telling you. If I actually knew when the buses were coming I could plan accordingly.. any updates to address this would be flipping awesome!

4/5Works well, light rail is great. UX fix recommendations here
The app and light rail is great. Couple of recommendations to the app product team and light rail customer experience team: 1. The expiration time for your daily ticket is confusing. If you go to wallet and view your ticket it always says it expires 2am next day, even if I need to buy another ticket to get back home from work. If I am not familiar with how a day ticket works, this tells me I do g need to buy another ticket until 2am 2. It would be great to see the time for the next arriving train when you are at the station. Now it shows the current time, which is pretty much useless for anyone with a phone or watch (not app feedback but hopefully this finds its way to the appropriate team for feedback) Also, if the trains would be doubled during rush hours, it would reduce the need to check for schedules. 20 minute wait time in worst case is not good. 10 minute wait time is manageable if you just happened to miss the train. Generally great work and otherwise than the expiration time UX bug, the app works just as expected

2/5Bus times
As an avid bus rider this app is not very efficient when it comes to bus times. If the idea is to have a set time and then continue to give them more time once that time passes then what is the point of the initial set time? We the customer rush and try to be on time and in most cases are but only to wait on a late bus. Why? I feel like this app is designed more for the bus drivers then us the rider. Or easier to track ticket purchase by Valley Metro and get us to put money on this app to ride. I mean no bus is ever punctual and I’m even giving them a 5min window after their scheduled stop time and that is basically their job pick to pick us up and drop off as scheduled. I’m not old but I do remember when punctuality mattered. Now everyone has an excuse to be inconsistent and inconsiderate when asked why. Definitely worse timeline now a-days. Case in point, get these drivers to sync with the app times. If the gps is being tracked on their bus by satellite and the bus is running behind then it’s the drivers that are dragging. Please fix this. Especially if job punctuality depends on them being on time. Thank you.

2/5Too Little, Too Late
Valley Metro has a history of stubbornly doing things its own way rather than following best practices in the industry. For years, it has dragged its feet about releasing real-time bus and train location data. With this app, that has finally changed, but the agency is still behind where it should be with respect to data sharing and transparency. The real-time data is helpful when it actually appears, but in my experience it is not uncommon for a “location not available” message to appear when a specific bus is selected. Even when the data is available, there are significant usability issues with this app. If a user pulls up scheduled arrivals for a specific location and then looks to see where a specific bus or train is currently situated, there is then no easy or intuitive way to return to the original list of scheduled service. Finally, I’d prefer not to have to download and install yet another app when both Google and Apple Maps already do a better job of displaying transit information. Valley Metro should focus its efforts on sharing real-time data with established third-party apps rather than creating its own product.

2/5Wild goose chase app
I've gotten on three wrong buses because of this app. Rarely gives most direct route. I can figure out my own route faster with 100% better precision. The most recent bug is the gps showed a bus pass me by, but there was no bus to be seen. So I started to walk towards my destination. Then suddenly the tracker showed the bus a block before the stop I was at. I had to run back to that stop to barely catch the bus. This app is retarded. More retarded stuff. My destination is 9.6 miles away. The app shows my bus already halfway through the trip on the map and reads the trip will only take 1 minute. Quantum travel maybe? Today I missed another bus because this retarded app said the next bus was 20 minutes away. So I start walking to the next bus stop. 5 minutes later the bus passes me by. The developers of this app are retarded.
