1. 5/5Want the best Smoothie you’ve ever had with AMAZING service?

   Umm YES! We all do. That is why you go in the first place.I have tried every single smoothie joint in Utah County from Payson to Lehi and nothing compares to Tropical Smoothie Cafe!! They have excellent menu choices with the ability to boost your smoothie, not to mention fantastic lunches and staff. However let’s be honest most of the time I go just to get a great smoothie. Their recipes are fantastic, the taste is amazing, and you can tell that they use real fruit and real ingredients!! Every single member there is awesome, so sweet and quick to recommend their app and rewards. Of course I listened and downloaded the app because of how frequently I go here we are talking every single day. Not only do you get rewards points every single dollar that you spend but they also do random surveys and promos so that you are constantly saving money. Plus a cute birthday gift! All I have to say is if you haven’t been you need to go and I do not write reviews for anybody!! Ari B (sorry if I got your name wrong hun ) is fantastic she already recognizes that I go there so frequently and knows my order by heart, she definitely deserves praise 🙌🏼🙌🏼 love it love it love it.

2. 4/5Apple Pay Disappeared & Can’t Add Card

   Update: one week later. Changing review to 4Stars - don’t know if app developers saw my (and others reviews about Apple Pay) but issue seems to have been fixed. Leaving a star off because I still think the app’s customer service options are not thought through. I would have reported the below through the app but it’s self guided complaint process doesn’t allow that. Hey App Developers, not trying to call you out but you don’t leave us any options to give feedback to you directly in the app itself. It routed my feedback to the store itself. Up until a week ago I’d have rated this app highly but for some reason, the Apple Pay option on my account disappeared when I was finalizing an order. My payment options on my profile show an expired card that it won’t let me delete (I go through the process of deleting it but it doesn’t actually delete) and it also has no option for me to add my new credit card. I use Apple Pay in the past because even before this snafu the app would constantly erase my saved CC information. Best part is the App’s ‘Contact Us’ options are limited to specific options that you must select. The option ‘App and Online Orders’ doesn’t actually allow you to lodge a problem about the app. Its only about your specific order. So I went ahead and tried to give this feedback via this route and the next day my local store (who I had to “file an issue against” just to advance my issue in the app reporting system) called to tell me they couldn’t do any app support and to report it through the app. Not their fault at the store, actually good response time. App developers though? Haven’t seen a way to get a word to you so happy to adjust if anyone sees this.

3. 5/5Love your watermelon smoothie and edible straws and banana peanut butter wrap.

   Hey please for the love of God bring back your watermelon smoothie drink and if you don’t already add some good honey and granola to your peanut butter banana wrap. I love your wrap, but I think I add my own granola and honey. But please make your watermelon smoothie all year round. It’s spring and I can’t get it and I live in louisiana so I want watermelon drinks that taste fantastic, and yours does. Can you please try to make more refreshing watermelon drinks. Merci beaucoup. I tried ordering my friend some stuff from your place but the delivery people never speak English in her state and it never makes it which drives me insane and they have the nerve to charge me for it, when the people admit they don’t speak English so how the heck can they find a place! Anyway make sure whoever does your deliveries that you make sure the company hires people that understand English and can follow directions. That’s a loss of money for y’all because I can’t deliver it out of state, so I have given up trying to get her your wonderful food and drinks. It’s a huge problem because on Reddit I see many people complaining about delivery services hiring people that can understand English or follow directions. I love your restaurant and your watermelon smoothie is to die for. They charged me for the delivery several times and my poor friend didn’t get anything and I was billed. I tried again and same thing happened, one time it made it but the drinks were spilled and she didn’t have the right food, so it’s crazy, that never happens to me in my city. I have issues with deliveries at times but not where the driver speaks no English and admits they can’t understand directions. I only tell you this because you are a big client to door dash, grub hub, postmates and ubereats so you can make sure you tell them your deliveries aren’t being delivered and your customers are still being charged. I tired several delivery services and it was an issue.

   I first was introduced to Tropical Smoothie Cafe in college. It always served the most delicious smoothies ever. Fast forward to present day, they have fallen off. The most recent order I place has officially caused me to no longer be a customer. I placed an order for delivery directly from the app. I only received 2 of the 3 smoothies I ordered and one of those smoothies was under an entirely different name (someone else’s order) and did not give me the 2 cookies I ordered. Since I did it through the app, there was no immediate support to connect with like DoorDash or UberEats. I called the store twice and both times no one answered and voicemail was full. I even texted the delivery driver and they never responded. The only way I was able to get my voice heard was having to go through the “Contact Us” section of their app and that is just sending an email in which they will review and get back to me whenever they can. I basically lost out on more than $10 with no immediate rectification. If there is anything this review can do is have Tropical Smoothie Café has some support available for when the store or the delivery driver messes up the order. I rather make my own smoothie first before ever ordering from this place again. I recommend just ordering for pick up or going to a different smoothie place entirely.

5. 1/5Worthless app - doesn’t work

   I downloaded the app and have been getting emails about these great rewards. I decided to try one and ordered so my daughter could pick it up on her way home. Everything was working great and I got to the checkout. I applied the coupon and was ready to pay. I put in my card information and it told me to make sure my contact information was correct including phone number. Then it cleared the page. I tried it a few times and it never worked. I went to profile and payment options and it says I have no cards on file and there is no way to add one. I called the store and they said they didn’t accept phone orders and couldn’t help me. After messing around for 15 minutes my daughter had to order in person when she got there and I found a way to screen shot the coupon from the app and have her get it scanned at the store. It was a total waste of time. It doesn’t do the main thing it is designed to do - order food easily. You can’t even select “pay in store” like other apps. This app is misleading in that it doesn’t do what it implies and must not have gone through testing. I have an iPhone 12 and have developed apps that are on the App Store. I expect more.

   all.of a sudden. incompatible with my phone. I always order ahead. oh well. I guess on to different restaurants with more updated technology that includes a perfectly good phone I've had for years. customer lost.

   The App started forcing a tip. It needs to start at 0% & I decide if I add or not. Automatic 15% will make me quit using it. very easy to overlook, If not fixed, I will tell others (negative* publicity).

   It used to be a great app. Now it declines my purchases but takes the money out of my account and won't even show there is an order place and this never used to happen. Or the app just won't open
