1. 4/5A Tad frustrating

   I like the fact that it does have a product review for me to correct what I need to. What I don’t like is a month later to get a violation because of something wrong with the jar. I do mystery jewelry jars. I don’t take pics of everything to keep it a mystery but I get a violation on the same pics I took for the review. For a new seller this is very frustrating. The appeal process is not user friendly. And there’s no way to gain the points back except what it looks like as time. I’ve not seen any quizzes to help restore points. The one thing I did find it will fall after 6 months. I got another violation because I personally named the type of jar it was and that was apparently a brand violation. They don’t let you fix your mistakes or correct that, just a deduction of points. I think the appeal process needs a little more work to help with your new sellers who aren’t trying to violate any standards. It should allow you to correct not just deduct. Teach what is wrong in the initial review of the product instead of some time after.

2. 1/5Seller app for phone

   So I almost got my Shop taken down because I couldn’t get my orders to go over to my Shopify store because I do sellers shipping. The reason why is it because of TikTok shop well when I pull it up on my phone if it says order and it only does it once it don’t show the whole page page you can’t scroll. It just gets stuck on that. So I don’t know what the deal is or where the problem lies but y’all need to get it fixed because when you open up your phone to your seller app, you should be able like it says to go through Phil products do this do that but you can’t even see your products you can’t even I tried to scroll over and it wouldn’t let me so that I could screenshot my orders number. Well I didn’t get to so I go back in and it just says urgent order to fulfill and I can’t find the order anywhere. It doesn’t make any sense. There’s no one to get a hold of I emailed all the emails I could find I had chat help me. It’s not a real person so it just gives you generic things that you already have access to, but yeah y’all need to fix it to be better for the sellers especially on a cell phone because I’m not not everybody’s gonna carry their laptop or computer everywhere with them. Ti to seller shop is SDCCo. My page is Sunshine And Daisies Customs Co. and another thing it keeps saying my account is closed, but it’s not so I need to talk to somebody. I’ve got to figure my stuff out.

   I keep getting told that my items violate policy with no explanation, I put in an appeal it says denied for not providing proper documentation. Again does not specify what documentation. I got an email stating I violated these policies followed by strings of numbers and a link to policy page. I’m thinking ok like anyone has time for that, yet when I go through policy page there are no strings of numbers associated with individual policies. Who is this for? How are we supposed to have any idea what the problem is or how to fix it? This is more needlessly complicated than silent hill riddles. Also all my stats are wrong, I had been enrolled in and participating in the partnership commission program then all of a sudden just as not anymore? Can’t see or find my earnings anywhere, chat support has been of no help and that’s only when I can find it and that’s only if they actually respond which could be that day or a week or more later. I only have my phone so if this thing works on laptop then you guys need to make it work for our phones too. Though I have a strong feeling it’s just as bad, please correct me if I’m wrong, this needs serious serious work fellas, tiktok shop is broken.. if it ever worked at all

   Revised: After following their suggestion beneath my review, I reached out to TikTok despite encountering significant issues with them before. Disappointingly, my attempt yielded automated responses and no assistance in resolving the issue of them withholding funds from my boutique shop. It seems they are uninterested in releasing the funds, and I strongly advise fellow small business owners to steer clear of this platform. It appears they are unfairly targeting and harming small businesses, seemingly with the intent of absconding with their profits. BEWARE I manage multiple businesses under the same LLC, utilizing DBAs for each. Initially, I registered two ventures - a women's clothing store and a soap and skincare business. While addressing shipping challenges with the clothing shop and actively collaborating with TikTok to resolve those issues, they unexpectedly shut it down for shipping violations. Surprisingly, my soap shop, which hadn't made a sale, faced a similar fate due to “shipping issues.” Despite relentless efforts to contact TikTok Shop for resolution, automated responses hinder progress, making it challenging to reinstate both businesses. Despite initially enjoying TikTok Shop, the lack of human oversight in ticket handling creates frustrating obstacles post-removal. Although I initially sought clarity and resolution for issues with both my shops, the current situation has led me to reconsider the value of continuing with TikTok Shop. After extensive online research, it appears that such challenges are not unique to my businesses, and this seems to be a common experience for many small businesses. I would advise sellers to exercise caution when considering TikTok Shop.

5. 1/5Terrible Customer Support & Backend Software Issues

   When I first started using the software, there were so many glitches and issues getting my information in their are correctly and accurately, especially since they don’t guide you very well to break it all down initially. Just recently, I had done my normal operation of shipping my products out through the mail and their system had a glitch where it said it couldn’t process it due to the tracking number being corrupted. I confirmed with USPS that the tracking number was accurate and it was delivered to both customers early. I spoke with eight or nine customer service representatives only through messenger because they don’t have a one 800 number to speak with for US customers. Long story short I had to pay money out-of-pocket, and the Customer Services people sent me instructions and none of the instructions worked either. There are just so many problems everywhere I turned in this app. I highly suggest they have 1000 clients go through every inch of this platform to make it better because it needs an overhaul!!
