1. 3/5It just needs some work

   I have been a member of the facebook group for a year or two now and have met some of the most wonderful people in the world thanks to this community. I have high expectations and a lot of respect for Mr. Blevins. I was so excited to see that there’s an app! However like any new app it’s a little buggy... It needs some tweaking. Some of those things include: Notifications: It varies from having to hunt down where the notification came from to getting notified for every single comment even if it’s not directed at me all the way to not getting notified at all especially if it’s a message only to discover it hours later. Group approval: Waiting almost a week+ after making a new group and still haven’t heard anything on approval or denial. Unable to delete posts, comments, or messages that are no longer relevant. There’s more but this is off the top of my head. As I mentioned every new app is buggy so I’m more than happy to update my review once this is no longer an issue for the majority of users! This app has the potential to be phenomenal and help so many people! I can’t wait to see where it goes.

2. 2/5Great idea, poor execution

   Love the idea of this project. It’s an unfortunately necessary resource, even in this day and age. However, the app is borderline completely unusable. Half the tabs do not move/scroll - they’re oftentimes stuck and I can’t navigate to other locations on the tab. This is more so a product of social media’s impact on collective action rather than a flaw of the app itself, but there are far more individuals ‘there for support’ than those in need (to an overwhelming extent). It’s a little dispiriting to scroll through the app and not feel like you’re needed there due to the over saturation of one demographic. I worry it could chase away those who need support due to the eagerness of those who are there for comfort and looking for just one person to offer help to. Also, the wrong form of “you’re/your” is used during signup when asking for a bio… The small things don’t seem to be tied up well overall.

3. 4/5Glitchy but I love the intention

   I can’t scroll down or click anything on the first tab along the bottom, the refreshing thing that happens at the top of the screen wigs out my device clock/battery bar, and I don’t seem to be able to see the post that I just made. 😅 The community seems nice though. There are definitely some creepy older men that need to read the room and not call someone beautiful on a post requesting empathy but, you can’t win at everything, am I right? The interface feels pretty natural, the connections made on here feel real/organic. The intended function is lovely and decently well executed but it’s falling short on technical aspects, and could maybe do with more Mods.

4. 3/5Love It But It’s Not Working Right

   I love the idea of this app so so much but the app is not working for me. A couple things happened. 1) when I try to join groups, it won’t let me click on anything or even scroll to see what groups are available. So, I logged out so I could go back in and try it again. This is where problem 2 started. 2) I used the correct email and password (I literally had just set up my account not even 10 minutes prior to this issue so I know it was the correct one) to login and it said “Ops! Something went wrong!” with some explanation I didn’t understand (I took a picture of it). I don’t want to uninstall this app, but if these two things don’t get fixed, I might have to.

5. 2/5Phishing/money request concerns

   I REALLY want to support this app, but unfortunately my very first experience being reached "for support" was being asked for money. I think that if people want to be able to provide that for those in need that is so valid, but I dont have a lot of money and really dont want my only option to help people is providing them money. If we could make that an option to note for those seeking support that would make this experience way better. This recent interaction makes me very wary of this app's potential becoming a perfect site to phish and ask for money rather than it's original intent, which makes me less likely to use the app
