What's New in Setlist Helper 3.0 Modern Design Setlist Helper has been completely redesigned with a fresh, modern look. The app now features a dark theme by default, SF Symbol icons throughout, and a polished Home screen with song, setlist, and tag counts at a glance. Songs, setlists, and tags all use updated list views. The Settings, Login, Register, Purchase, and Lyric Search screens have all been redesigned with a clean card-style layout. Improved iPad Experience The iPad now uses a modern sidebar layout with better split-view navigation. Menus and toolbars are consistent across iPhone and iPad. Key & Time Signature Pickers Songs now have dedicated pickers for key and time signature, making it easier to enter and update song details. Crash Fixes Fixed crashes when adding songs, setlists, or tags to empty lists, when deleting tags, and when dragging breaks in setlists. Added bounds checking throughout to prevent unexpected crashes. Updated Dependencies AirTurn SDK updated to 4.9.2, Dropbox SDK updated to 7.4.2, and Google Mobile Ads SDK updated. The app now requires iOS 13.2 or later.

Fixed an issue on iPad where the sidebar menu could not be dismissed after opening. Tapping a menu item (Songs, Setlists, Tags, Settings, etc.) now automatically closes the sidebar. The sidebar can be reopened at any time by swiping from the left edge of the screen.

Version 3.2 brings major stability improvements and a faster lyric search experience. Sync engine reliability - Rewrote the cloud sync engine to eliminate background-thread crashes that could occur while uploading songs, setlists, and tags. Sync is now safe even if you switch accounts or sign out while a sync is in progress. - Tapping Sync twice in quick succession, or trying to log out while a sync is running, is now blocked at the UI so it cannot put the app in a bad state. - Cancelling a sync now cleanly stops in-flight uploads instead of letting them finish in the background. Lyric search is faster - When searching for lyrics, the app now extracts the lyric text as soon as it appears on the page instead of waiting for ads, trackers, and slow scripts to finish loading. On ad-heavy lyric sites this can be 5 to 20 seconds faster. iPad polish and crash fixes - Fixed a crash that could occur on iPad when tapping a Home screen tile shortly after navigating back from a lyric. - Fixed the back button label "Home" showing instead of the expected "Tags" arrow when leaving the Tag Songs screen on iOS 18. - Added an extra safety net for a rare iPad split-view layout crash that could occur while the app was being snapshotted in the background. - Several smaller stability fixes for low-memory iPads, including guards in the PDF viewer, the metronome, and the Setlist Songs list.
