1. 5/5$avings Galore! (I break down my answer LOL)

   I gave a score of 4 out of 5 because of a couple of reasons. #1. Because 95% of the time that I open this app to see if there is a discount offered for the place that I’m shopping at, and there is! #2. It’s difficult to explain, but without getting too detailed, but you know when you go to the hospital and they ask you on a scale of 1-10, what your pain level is at? Most people are so quick to answer “TEN”!! These are typically the ones that are hypochondriacs or the druggies out trying to get pain meds without first stopping, and thinking of what those numbers actually mean in reality. So, How often do you REALLY think someone says “#10” and actually means it? I mean, you’d have to be literally almost dead or dying. It was explained to me that a #1 means you’re in no pain at all, not even a trace. and a #10 meaning you’re in so much pain that you’d rather die. Or that you’re crying so hard, it’s difficult to breath, let alone focus. ANYHOOZLE!, take the concept of that situation in numbers and apply it to what y’all are asking me here (With 1 meaning that the RetailMeNot app is so terrible, I’ve blocked it and don’t even mention it to people. And 10 meaning it’s your favorite saving/shopping app and you’re constantly telling your family, friends, acquaintances & co-workers about it. Gosh, I did get too detailed I guess. ANYWAY, it’s a pretty high honor (in my eyes) to hand out “#10s”. Am I being way too technical here? Anyways, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it!

   First, I hope this message finds EVERYONE well, safe & happy! Lean on God & Jesus Christ our Savior, at ALL times, but especially now (look around you), and if you don’t know Him yet it’s cool, He's waiting on you, just repent, admit you’re a sinner (we all are, ain't nobody better than anybody!) Know that He died for you...yep, you...His blood washed you clean of ALL your sins. Learn. There are stories in the Bible that'll blow your mind...if your mind & heart are open..you’ll get some wild stories & as you ponder..you’ll GET IT & see it in today...you’ll feel the love that’s constantly being poured into you & you’ll gain insight, knowledge...eventually wisdom. Pray & talk to Him about whatever’s on your mind or in your heart...(He already knows what’s REALLY going on!) it’s the coolest thing...you really will feel peace..like, real peace & you’ll know that if you walk with Him you’ll never walk alone. And remember, ask & you will receive, but you must ask with thanksgiving in your heart and remember that all glory goes to the Lord! Ok, my brother or sister, walk in peace, happiness, good health, prosperity & love. Let’s all love each other with no judgement! Sending you good vibes & prayers for all things good.    I’ve used this app for about 9 months now and have run into nothing but trouble. I’ll click on the online cash back offer, process to check out via the partner site as usual and maybe 1/10 of my purchases are tracked by RMN. Here is were the problems start: after waiting 45+ days to allow for the purchase to be tracked- per their policy, customer service agents ask a million questions to ensure you are using the app “appropriately” (adding items to the cart only after you click the offer, making your purchase within an allotted amount of time after the offer is clicked, having the proper browser installed, etc.). After this point they have to do a manual payout once you provide proof of the purchase, well they get tired of doing this and will suspend your account with no explanation given. During my last email exchange with a rep I was told they have issues with their app tracking purchases and this is a known issue but still refuse to process any additional manual payouts. When it works it’s ok, but trying to haggle with people to get money back is a pain, totally not worth it. Please don’t download this app and google their reviews and complaints with the BBB, I’m not the only one having issues with this company!

4. 1/5Complete waste of time

   Added the extension to safari and it’s been nothing but a hassle. First, the extension frequently causes websites to crash. The extension also enables a box with an “R” on the right hand side of every web page and every time I’ve tried filtering results when shopping, this “R” box causes issues selecting filters. I find myself disabling the extension more than using it. Which brings me to the biggest issue of all. I’ve been using the extension for a month now and while the purchases show under the rewards activity, not a single reward has been process nor do the rewards activity show the purchase amount or cash back I will receive. Even if it was just in pending status, no big deal! But the fact that it’s just the name of the store where I made the purchase and nothing more makes me feel like I got scammed. Oh! And when I click on each reward (there’s 5 that I’ve activated) it states “We’re waiting for -insert store name here- to let us know you made a purchase.” I can’t find a way to contact customer service and all in all, I’m just frustrating with the app and the extension. My experience on a whole has been BAD.

5. 1/5Used to work, but not so much

   I used to check the app and use the coupon availability before I would shop all the time. But the last few times I tried to use the listed coupons, I would be told at the store that the coupons weren’t valid or they just didn’t work. Some stores would be nice and honor them, probably to keep customers happy, but some downright refused. Also, I used to take advantage of the Cash Back rewards option but for the last 2 months, I am unable to link my card, and receive an error message that states “We’re having an issue linking this offer at this time, but we’re working hard to fix it. Please try again soon.” I have notified customer service and received a response stating they are looking into it and never heard back. I even deleted and reinstalled the app, but still get the same error message. I’ve since switched to using Ebates, and have not had any issues. The couple times I’ve contacted customer service, I’ve had quicker response times, resolutions, and even a follow up email to make sure my issue was addressed and corrected.
