1. 3/5Never very accurate

   After using this app for several months, I’ve learned it has the same shortcoming as another similar app I’ve tried, i.e. it’s just not accurate as to what is currently available on what streaming service. I’ve had multiple instances where the app tells me something on my watchlist is currently available on one of my subscribed services, when in fact it isn’t. Or worse, where it fails to indicate that something on my watchlist is actually available on one of my services, when it it. I’ve sent several feedbacks through the app about these instances when I notice them, but other than the initial automated response indication a case has been opened, never received any other followup about those cases, nor have I seen any reported instance corrected. If you can’t trust the info coming from an app like this, then it’s pretty useless…you will never know whether something you want to see is available or not without manually checking each of your services each time, which was what the app was supposed to do instead.

2. 1/5Great Concept Poor Execution

   First let me say that I absolutely love the look of this app and it’s intended purpose (I also love checking things off lists so there’s that), but I’ve had it for about 3 months now and something is constantly going wrong. First it would crash all the time, then it moved painfully slow, then it wouldn’t show everything I was tracking, then it made me sign in every time I closed the app, then I would add episodes to watch and it would add entire seasons, and finally what lead to this review and a single star, now they aren’t getting the release dates for episodes right, which is the whole point right?! I have also noticed that some tv shows that are currently running showed up as upcoming, I noticed this because I was happily waiting for the return of a show only to suddenly find that it had been running since the summer, annoying. I love this idea and it would be so so so helpful if ya’ll could make it do what you say it should. Right now The Path, The Good Place, Steven Universe, and This Is Us have all been listed wrong at some point and some still are, heck new episodes of Steven Universe were released last week and it still says the show has no scheduled return. If I have to double check every date against IMDB what’s the point of this app?! It also tells me things are available on platforms when they are not, so again what’s the point?! Please please please make this functional it’s such a great concept :( If not I will totally be keeping an eye out for the same concept from other parties :/ I’m reviewing instead of simply deleting because I’m pulling for these folks to do better!

   If you have a Roku, ReelGood will change your life. No more wasting time hunting for something to watch or where to watch something. I spent 1 hour adding TV shows and movies to my watch list and now I’ve got enough to watch for at least a year and I’ll save god knows how many hours over that time not wasting my time looking for something to watch every time I turn on the TV. With ReelGood I know if something is available on any of my services for free. I don’t have to hunt around in each of my services to see if it’s available. And, ReelGood will notify me if anything in my watch list becomes available for free on any of my services. By far, though, the best best best part of ReelGood is that I can tap on something to watch in the app and it will just start playing on my Roku. I don’t have to go the channel on my Roku and search for the thing I want to watch. Instead, ReelGood launches the channel and starts playing it on my Roku for me. My only nitpick is that I wish I could set defaults to get something playing on my bedroom Roku with one tap. We have 4 Rokus in the house so it asks me each time which Roku I want to play something on. 99.9% of the time I’m watching on the bedroom Roku. And, I’ll never want to play something on my daughter’s Roku in her bedroom. Also, if I tap to watch something on HBO it asks which version of HBO we have every time (HBO Go, HBO Now, Etc.). I don’t really care. We have HBO Now so just play it there.

4. 5/5Brilliant. Robust. Perfect Film App!

   For all of you passionate movie-watchers out there like me, it’s sometimes hard to find those unknown gems that spark excitement and real joy. The Reelgood App is a MUST HAVE for everyone, from novices to the aspiring film-buffs/wannabe Siskel & Eberts! Search, save, and sort your favorite movies and TV shows in the matter of a few clicks. Find out what streaming service they’re on within another few clicks. Learn about other related movies and shows with just a few more clicks! Honestly, during the pandemic, this has been one of my most used Apps to browse and note all of those great, highly rated movies, that I never knew about and would later realize that I wouldn’t have found it without the Reelgood App. Best App to casually waste time on, but later come to understand that you’re actually heavily investing into your free-time and screen time. If you like film, get the Reelgood App now. Hands down the best iPhone App that I’ve found and used in 2020..! #NQ

5. 4/5It’s good, but…

   I really enjoy this app. I helps me see wha films are on witch current services and the fantastic amount of films presented on this app. One of the features I love, (and is probably my favorite) is the watchlist. I love putting movies on my “seen” and “haven’t seen” list. I mostly put movies on my “seen” list. I like seeing my movies all in one list, witch is why we are here. There are two separate lists, “On your services” and “Not on your services.” If you put a movie on your watchlist, then it goes to one of those lists on there. Witch is a really good feature, but there is no option where you can see the films in just one list. To me, that’s a big thing. I want to see all of my movies In one list, and the fact that they are split in two does not really make me happy. Unlike the website, you can have the option to see all of your movies in one list as well as seeing witch movies are on your services or not. Maybe there is a option to change that and I just haven’t found it yet, but as of now I could not find anything, and it’s bothering me. Thank you.
