   I love this app because first it so easy to use, and for each item you order you can choose to have it replaced with a similar item if they don’t have the one you want. There is even a place where you can write a message for the items like example I like my bananas still green so I write that and that’s what I get. You can also write if you are looking for something but it’s not showing on the app you can ask the shopper to look for it. The shopper will call or text you if there is a problem or if they are out of an item so make sure you pick up calls from numbers you don’t know. They also offer delivery so that is even better for me because my son is Autistic and doesn’t like to leave the house. This would also be good for people who don’t want to chance getting sick. I know right now my asthma hits me every time I open the door. You can also pick up your groceries at the store with is also a great idea you just pull up where they tell you pop your trunk open and that’s it. Also FYI if by any chance any item is missing or messed up call the store back and they will refund you for that item but so far they have been really good on doing a good job. You can choose what date and time you want everything delivered. I recommend this app for everyone I tried instant cart and for some reason the prices on there are higher by $2-$3 an item if not more. But on here you pay what you would have if you gone to the store yourself.

2. 1/5Clipped Coupons Makes life difficult

   When I was younger, people had to use paper coupons. Then it changed to Coupons that were linked to your phone number, which was great. Then they went to the app and they require certain coupons to be digitally clipped. This is very inconvenient and time-consuming and very difficult for people who do not have smart phones or data. And not good for those who are not tech savvy. I am in IT and I get so frustrated trying to use the app and clip coupons that I literally want to scream. The app should make our life easier, not harder. All Coupons should be effective once we put in our phone number. We should not have to jump through hoops to get a deal. It makes me not want to shop at Raleys. Safeway also started the clipped coupons. It is taking a lot of willpower to not throw in a few cuss words or have a major attitude about this. I’m trying to remain calm and collected with my review. The app and the clipped Coupons makes it very difficult, especially for most of the older generation that did not grow up with smart phones. You guys have done a big disservice to a huge population. In addition, I can’t even download the update and so I can’t even use the app. The digital coupons that need to be clipped is the most upsetting feature to have been at supermarkets. Apps should make our life easier, not harder.

3. 1/5Worst App in the History of Apps

   If it’s their intention to drive existing customers to shop elsewhere, then they have hit the mark with this dumpster fire of an app. The UI is chaotic and confusing, and it’s really hard to navigate and find what you’re looking for and to “clip” the deals you want. You have to use the app to get the deals, and you have to use their crappy unsecured WiFi in store to use the app. The in-store WiFi and the app both constantly boot you off, so you have to sign in to both the WiFi and the app every 5 minutes while you’re in the store. Everyone else is struggling with this crappy app too, so people are standing around blocking the aisles trying to get the app to work. THEN, when you get to the checkout, it doesn’t give you credit for deals that you clipped and you end up spending more than you planned. All while enjoying the crappy attitudes of the managers and checkout clerks. I hate this app with a burning passion, I am growing to hate Raley’s, and I am accordingly doing more and more of my shopping elsewhere. I STRONGLY recommend that if you decide to use this garbage, don’t put any payment information in and give them as little information as possible to sell to third parties, which is what they designed this garbage for.

4. 2/5New update: only kinda works (plz fix!)

   EDIT: The app functions a bit better than when the new update was first released but it still crashes and is not as easy to use as the old version. It still needs work. Trying to build a shopping list like before but it’s less user-friendly and less convenient as far as navigating and adding things to a list. If you want to add multiple amounts of a single item, you have to add the item from your search, then go back into your list and find the item and add how many. Like why? Just have a +/- button on the item on the first page like before. This is making it more time consuming than it needs to be. On top of that, it crashes about every time I open a list.. -.- So at this point I feel I still can’t use it for list building, total price estimates, etc. I think the only use right now is coupon clipping, which it now looks more like Savemart’s app as far as the coupon functions which I wasn’t a fan of either. This new update was a downgrade and not an upgrade in my opinion. Hope it gets fixed. —— The new update renders the app useless :( I used the app to build my list, get an estimate on our shopping bill, clip coupons, etc. But now it’ll barely let me log in (took many tries and reopening the app), and when it finally did, nothing else loads when I click on an action like clipping a coupon or selecting a store. It just shows a little loading sign and doesn’t do anything else. (Gave 2 stars instead of 1 with the hopes that it does get fixed soon since it’s a new update that just got released. I found the app quite helpful before.) I hope this gets sorted out quickly :/

5. 1/5Update has made the app unusable!

   This app used to be amazing! I went out of my way to tell people how much I liked shopping at Nob Hill because the app made it so great. This is coming from someone who generally avoids all retail apps and loathes making simple tasks more complicated by using technology. Unfortunately, all of that is in the past. The new app is simply unusable. They’ve made it more complicated to add items to your shopping list by forcing you to choose shopping or favorites every time you try to add something. Have a heart or star to add things to a favorites list, shopping list should be the default. Not that it matters anyway, because every time I try to look at my shopping list, the app crashes. It used to be so easy to shop sales, clip coupons, sort my shopping list by aisle and be on my way. Now, I am stuck pulling my cart to the side trying to have my shopping list load long enough to take screenshots so I actually get what I need. Nob Hill is close by and super convenient, but it’s not my only option. The old app is what made it my top choice. Now, I’ll avoid unless it’s a great sale or I’m missing an ingredient while I’m cooking. I hope Raley’s gets their money back from whoever redesigned this app.
