   This is an amazing campground. We stayed here for the eclipse on April 8. Bonus feature was the wildflowers were at their peak. The trails are fun and they have easy ones for those who are unable to cover a long distance, all with amazing views. The staff and store personnel were very accommodating and friendly. Special kudos to Nola for helping us with our reservations, as we had several campsites and cabins we had reserved for family and friends. She patiently attended to all of them for us over the phone so that everyone had a quick check in when they arrived. The restrooms and showers were clean and well maintained. I can’t say enough good things about the park.

2. 1/5Terrible website

   My husband & I have a yearly camping pass and have had one for years. It expires in March and we can’t renew it easily because the state of NM requires us to go in person to renew the veteran (discounted pass for veterans ) and we are an hour and a half away from the closest place to renew. With that being said, we booked several camping trips on RA app and it took our reservation (even though the pass would be expired before the reservation dates). I got a call from RA today stating they had to cancel my reservations we made unless we wanted to pay full price. I explained to them that we were planning on renewing our camping pass in the near future as soon as we can get to the place to renew in person. They told me to either pay full price for the reservations ( that their system allowed me to make even though our pass would be expiring prior to the future reservations) or they’d have to cancel them. I said fine, cancel them if that’s what you must do. She then proceeded to tell me she would , but I would be charged a cancellation fee.

3. 1/5Unusable - Bugs, errors, Impossible

   I genuinely do not understand the positive reviews. I spent way too much time trying to make a simple change to an existing reservation, and both the website and app were incredibly frustrating and impossible to use. The website is full of bugs and error messages, and the app often just redirects back to the website instead of letting you complete tasks. I'm a UX designer and very comfortable with technology, yet I still have not been able to add a night to my reservation because I can't even view availability. The interface is confusing, availability is difficult to read, campsites are hard to compare, and nearly every click seems to lead to an error or dead end. What should have been a simple task was impossible to complete. ReserveAmerica manages access to amazing parks and campgrounds, but this is one of the worst digital experiences I've encountered in a long time. The platform desperately needs bug fixes, USER TESTING, booking modernization, and a complete UX overhaul.

4. 2/5A little frustrating

   I normally don’t have trouble booking on this because I am doing single reservations. Today I was trying to book two reservations to the same park with different arrival dates for my family and my granddaughters family. I had issues getting the reservations to finalize because the system kept dropping information and making me put it back in. I thought I had everything back in and correctly, but on the confirmation email the only thing right on one of the reservation was the site number, arrival and number of days. The primary occupant, number in the party and number of animals is wrong. There should be some sort of way to edit an existing reservation or a help screen that actually has information in it. Every time I tried to access that function I got an empty white screen.

5. 3/5Great unless you find a site before you log in

   I made the mistake of looking at sites and selecting the book now button before I logged in to my RA account. When I did sign in, it sent me back to square one to select a site and the site and info I had already entered was not available because the web site thought someone else was trying to book it (I could have waited for 15 or so minutes to see if it came back but would have to risk losing another site due to the delay). At any rate, it was frustrating when the page I was looking at said, if I had an account, I should log in, then the presumption is that you would pick up with the info you had already entered. But, apparently that is not how it works and that is, at a minimum, very frustrating.
