   11/7: Despite the supposed November update, I still have the same issue where I can’t see my prescriptions and opt for an easy refill. I can’t add prescriptions or view any past orders. The app is completely useless for me. Original: The last update wiped out all my user information (from the online website as well) and there seems to be nothing to do to get it back. It looks to be an entirely new structure to the app which actually feels like a glitch! Unfortunately, the app is useless for me if I have to scan or key in a prescription each time I want to reorder rather than just choosing from a list of prescriptions that I consistently use. I’m SO disappointed that this was made a part of the update and I’ve opted to not use the app as a result of the new approach . I’m also considering going back to CVS for app ordering convenience.

2. 3/5Ok, but has a couple of issues

   I like the convenience of this app for the most part, but there are a few improvements that are needed. First, my cell phone number keeps getting deleted from the app, and as a result, I can’t receive the text message notifications letting me know that my prescriptions are ready. I have added my cell phone number to the app several times, but it seems like with each update recently, my cell phone number gets cleared. And I don’t realize it until I refill a prescription and don’t receive the text message. Another issue is filling prescriptions that are “on file”. You have to locate the prescription(s) in your record on the app, then you have to manually enter the prescription numbers to fill them. It would be nice to be able to just click the prescriptions I want to fill in my record without have to manually enter the prescription numbers. if these issues could be fixed, the app would be great!

3. 3/5Needs to support other elderly family members

   Update: a Publix pharmacist helped us navigate this issue. See below for original concern. You can do this setup for elderly family member but you have to log yourself out of the app first and then use a unique email address for the elderly person. That worked. It would be nice for this to be more seamless for supporting others - like it supports minors in the household but this is better than nothing. Original post: The app is very good except one glaring omission that I suppose is tied to PHI laws. The problem is a lot of families have the responsibility to refill our elderly parents meds and they don’t have smartphones or any tech skills. So they can’t have the app. The ability to have another family member who is not a minor added to the account in the app would be so useful. Just the ability to see if a med is refillable easily would be so helpful in this scenario. This prevents having to call the pharmacy as much. Especially for our elderly who don’t live with us but we have to get their refills. Please figure out a way to add this feature!

4. 2/5Ver 3.10.1 has major bug

   Latest version of 3.10.1 of four weeks ago has a major bug when selecting day you want rx filled. It’s adding one additional day. If you pick say a Monday after 3 until closing, it shows that you picked that time but behind the scene it makes it Tuesday after 3:00 and so on. On this past Monday I picked, a Tuesday after 3 until closing. Screen acknowledged same, however when I drove 24 miles to pick up, they said I’d picked Wednesday. This is second time since update that it has happened. Spoke with a neighbor who also uses Publix and she said it had happened to her three times since this update. One time happening I might blame myself for not paying attention to days but twice and another person three times. Nope you have a bug.

5. 2/5It works I guess

   I mean it’s helpful exclusively for knowing your prescription has been received by the pharmacy and when it’s ready for pick up. If you only ever deal with your own prescriptions and they’re minimal with no issues ever- 5 stars! However if there’s ever an issue filling the prescription, don’t expect any information as to why. I suppose it depends on the pharmacy, but if there’s ever an issue filling a prescription (unusually high copay, insurance coverage, out of stock, too early to fill, etc.) the status will sit under “In Process” indefinitely without anyone contacting you. Sure, you’ll get a vague text or email with a button to “see more details” that just goes to the pharmacy website login page but there are no actual “more details”. You’ll have to call the pharmacy anyway to work it out - hopefully not during the lunch break! - which kind of diminishes the value of a mobile app. You also can’t manage another adult’s prescription(s) under the same login “because of HIPAA” even though most other pharmacy apps allow this. It’s fine. But other pharmacies have a much more helpful app that keep me from having to bug an overwhelmed pharmacist for simple questions.
