  1. 5/5Those who serve are blessed

When they say nationwide is on your side, it’s not a lie. When I moved to my new home, I was able to transfer nationwide from my previous residence. Because of insurance companies suffering, as economy is being overcome by global warming many people were having to restart their insurance which would’ve necessitated the purchase of fire insurance. My insurance agent bypassed that because of how long i’ve carried nationwide insurance for all my home and auto. When I asked about earthquake insurance, he informed of the low risk of earthquakes, and it was not necessary to pay for it. At that moment, we became friends. Thank you nationwide for David Waters insurance. In Roseville, California.

  2. 1/5Nationwide NOT on Your Side

This app is terrible read in for further. If you enjoy being lied to, gaslit, passed around like a hot potato, and still not getting access to your own money, then by all means — roll your retirement savings into Nationwide. They’ve turned obstruction into an art form. Trying to get your retirement payments back after leaving a job or switching providers? Prepare for the full circus. First, they’ll give you incorrect instructions — confidently, of course. Then, when you follow them and nothing happens, someone else will smugly inform you that the previous person was “mistaken” and that you’ll need to start over. Don’t worry — they won’t apologize, but they will suggest it’s somehow your fault for trusting the company’s official representatives. Ask for clarification and you’ll get vague answers referencing phantom “policies” that conveniently can’t be sent to you in writing. Push back, and they’ll either contradict themselves, backpedal, or flat-out hang up on you. (Yes, seriously — they do that.) It’s a toxic blend of incompetence, deception, and bureaucratic muscle-flexing designed to wear you down and hope you go away. They act like your retirement funds are theirs and that you should feel lucky they’re even entertaining your request. They’ll delay, deflect, and attempt intimidation tactics — as if it’s outrageous that you expect to receive what’s legally yours. The arrogance is staggering. Nationwide isn’t “on your side” — they’re on their own side, and your money is just the hostage. If you’re looking for a reliable, ethical custodian of your retirement savings, do yourself a favor and run in the opposite direction.

  3. 5/5Good app for basic functions

The Nationwide app is OK for handling very basic functions like payments, starting claims and looking at ID cards. Supposedly you can save your ID cards in IOS wallet, but only for certain Nationwide affiliates and mine isn’t one of them. and this is a problem if you need the card and don’t have cell service. Motorcycle IDs can’t be pulled up in the app at all (maybe later, a rep said). You can’t make any policy changes in the app like adding or removing vehicles or changing coverage. So what’s the point of the app if I have to log on to Nationwide’s web site to do everything? At least it’s technically solid and easy to use.

  4. 2/5Borderline Useless App from a company that is not much better.

My credit card number changed when I got a new one. The very first thing I did was update all my auto pay accounts. Apparently, this was too much for the App to handle. On a Saturday I get a text saying I have a few days to pay before my coverage lapses and by the way we are charging you an extra $30 because we tried to charge your old card. Immediately, I try calling and nobody is there to take my call. Long story short, Nationwide makes a mistake, I get billed an extra $30, and they interrupt my weekend to lmk all of this but aren’t there to answer any calls that may result from these texts. For the amount of money I’m paying monthly, one would think that they would at least have a working app. It’s 2020. Please save yourself the trouble and stay away from this company. *** Update *** 6 months later I’m trying to print out my new insurance card. The app STILL does not work. Also, unlike last time, the website does not work. Finding a new car insurance company just made the top of my to do list. This company is a joke. Avoid at all costs.

  5. 5/5Nationwide wide auto insurance

Nationwide is amazing! I never had a problem with using you guys as my car insurance! I have full coverage and it’s one bill I don’t mind paying! I had a flat tire a few months back. I was stressing out at first. I have a new born baby girl. My brother reminded me I have nationwide road side assistance. Nationwide had a guy out to my house in 40 minutes to change my tire! Definitely happy customer! Made my entire month! I am one busy single mom to my baby girl. I feel very safe knowing I have full coverage with nationwide. The app is really easy to use. I love that it’s so convenient for me. Definitely great care insurance. Thanks nationwide! Definitely on your side! :)❤️
