5/5Good app but has issues
I really enjoy the access this app gives me to my medical information, my doctors, and paying my bills. What is increasingly frustrating is when the app shuts down in the middle of me typing out a message to my doctor. It has happened to me multiple times. I am guessing that it times out even though I am in the middle of using the app. It is ridiculously frustrating. Please fix the timing out issue and make it so that typing out a message is considered using the app. Thanks.

4/5Overall good
Overall good but as usual there is always an opportunity for fine turning. Being covered under Medicare and Tricare I should rarely see any outstanding balances. If I do a call to billing customer service is required. If a representative and myself resolve the issue of outstanding balance due to a inconsistency in processing that should clear the outstanding balance. If however the outstanding balances remain in self pay an exception report should automatically be generated and the issue should be automatically addressed as a mistake that should be addressed without me and the customer service representative making another call to cover the same issue in the same way because obviously the problem is not with the customer or the representative. At the end of the initial conversation the question is asked, did I resolve your issue and is there anything else you need. “ if it wasn’t resolved and the same problem resurfaces IT WASNT RESOLVED. This duplicity takes time to reaccomplish and takes time and costs money.

2/5Unresolved login issues
Have spoken with support a number times regarding app login and logout issues. Fixed several months ago by support, only to disappear again recently. Support with support today and tech was unable to resolve issues. Tech texted her manager however no reply was received. I said I would try again tomorrow. Another provider uses MyChart and that provider’s app always works perfectly each and every time on offering multiple options to easily login and permit me to stay logged while using their MyChart to read info and also to submit data, forms without being logged out repeating while keying data/info, wiping the form back to blank repeatly unless one “saves form to complete later” and then immediately re-accesses form to continue updates. The setup on Scripp’s MyChart has worked perfectly since day one. It is easy to use, user friendly, permits easy access, and the ability to remain logged in without automatic logout while using their app. UCSD’s MyChart by Epic has had the same issues repeatedly since day one setup. When UCSD tech support was finally able to activate two features always available in Scripps MyChart, the two features worked for several months than randomly disappeared. In addition, the UCSD app screen does not fit within the app window (too wide, lops off about 1/4 of info on right side), and also places radial buttons below or partially below the button the screen (as app screen not only to wide on home page prior to login, once logged in app screen is occasionally too long). UCSD Tech today suggested problem was likely with my phone settings. I disagreed as the Scripps MyChart works on my phone and options are set the same for both apps. I see other user reviews of UCSD’s MyChart report repetitive issues, and lower than 5-star ratings (2 to 4-stars appear frequently). Perhaps Epic’s tech support could me contacted by UCSD to explore/discover what is causing the differences in the same app under two different health care providers?

4/5Info for pt’s travelling
First let me say that I’ve always spoken to such kind and compassionate employees at both both medical centers. I’ve had one experience that was a statement I found ignorant and bothersome 😠coming from a medical professional. The problem is that I have to travel to you appx 80+ miles after taking my preparation for a colonoscopy/endoscopy having to stop along the way with all of the side affects of drinking the solution prior to the procedure. I find it close to unbearable. Renting a hotel/ motel simplifies the process and less painful. The accommodations have me spending money I don’t have AND told I get ”no” or $20 if any discount is available. Getting assistance would simplify my NEEDED procedure. FYI I am disabled and my back hurts everyday making travel extremely difficult. Thank you for your all of your GI center team for their hard work.

2/5Constant issues with app
So I have constant issues with logging into the application as well as issues inside the application. So first with logging in I have to enter in my log in stuff/ put the passcode in a varying amount every time I log in. Sometimes first go sometimes other times up to 6 tries really annoying. Then when I actually get in the application sometimes the screen is moved up like an inch, which is horrible because then I can’t see my doctors I need to message or the notifications fully when I log in. Then I have to go back trying to log in to fix the issue hoping it doesn’t just repeat again... I also experience problems with random shut downs of the app not super often but yes it does happen. So overall I love the idea of this app and the convenience of being able to message my doctors as well as get information easily, BUT that is after all the time spent trying to finally be able to access the app properly both outside and in.
