MusicHarbor - Track New Music

This update introduces a completely rebuilt Settings tab, featuring clearer organization, improved grouping, and more intuitive sections to help you quickly find and adjust common controls. The artist profile page now includes a grid view that displays all releases. You can choose to view all releases at once or filter by specific release types.

Navigate releases with a swipe gesture, easily scan news headlines, keep hidden albums synced everywhere, and more! Here’s everything new in this update: ALBUMS • You can now swipe left/right on album details to navigate to the previous/next album in the list. • When viewing an album details, you will now see the total runtime displayed at the bottom. • Hidden albums now sync with iCloud, ensuring they stay consistently hidden across all your devices. • “Mark All as Played” now applies only to items that match the current filters, rather than affecting every item. • The calendar releases view now displays the selected date as subtitle. NEWS • Artist names that appear in news headlines will now be highlighted. • News summaries powered by Apple Intelligence now support automatic translation into your preferred language. • Improved News algorithm to better match available news with only the artists you follow. SPOTIFY • Spotify authentication now uses a secure in-app Safari browser for a smoother sign-in experience. • Fixed an issue that prevented Spotify playlists from loading correctly when importing artists. NEW • You can now tap and hold the Following tab to quickly access the Follow Artist action. • Filter by Artists or Labels when searching in the Following tab. FIXED • Fixed an issue where profile pictures of imported artists were not loading properly. • Fixed an issue that could cause news summaries to not load. • Fixed an issue where news headlines failed to highlight more than one artist you follow.

ADDED • Hide releases from specific record labels in your feed. Configure in Settings → Filter Releases → Hide Record Labels. • Customize the action button for upcoming releases in Settings → Appearance & Layout → Album Actions. IMPROVED • The Following tab now shows separate counts for artists and labels in the subtitle. • Top Songs now correctly displays the playback status indicator. • Enhanced VoiceOver support throughout the app. FIXED • ​Resolved an issue where switching sections from the sidebar could leave the content area blank.

Review and confirm artists before importing: You can now check and adjust your artists during import to make sure everything transfers correctly.

Fixed an issue that could sometimes cause an error when syncing artists with iCloud.

• Ability to select multiple albums and add them all to your queue via Play Next or Play Last. These options are also now available under the (…) menu when viewing an album. • Ability to request MusicHarbor to automatically select the first match for everyone when reviewing artists to import. • Fixed an issue that could cause iCloud sync to fail in some specific conditions.

• New sorting options for the Releases feed! You can now sort albums by Genre or Record Label. • You can now switch the Releases feed between List and Grid layouts directly from the display options menu, and the change applies instantly without needing to restart the app. • Added a quick preview button to album artwork in the releases feed, making it easier to start listening to previews directly from the feed on iPad and Mac. • New “Disable Automatic Refresh on Launch” setting to prevent MusicHarbor from automatically refreshing new releases when you open the app. Configure in Settings > Advanced.

• Swipe actions in list view! You can now choose from a range of actions to perform when swiping left or right. Configure in Settings → Appearance and Layout. • Added a new Friday Reminder setting in Advanced Settings, so you can turn MusicHarbor’s weekly reminder notifications on or off anytime. • Improved Spotify batch actions: When adding multiple releases to a playlist or library, MusicHarbor now adds everything it can and keeps any failed releases selected, with clear feedback about what could not be added.

• Added a new “Mark as Played on Preview” option in Filter Releases, so album previews can automatically mark releases as played • You can now touch and hold the player HUD to quickly access album actions, including add to library or playlist, bookmark, share, and more. • Fixed an issue where searching for a record label from the Following tab could open artist search instead of label search.

• Fixed an issue where the Releases list could shrink and hide the “show more releases” option after returning to MusicHarbor from another app. • General bug fixes and improvements.

• Fixed an issue that could cause available singles from upcoming albums to not appear in the releases feed. • Fixed two additional bugs that could affect app stability and, in some cases, cause crashes.

• Improved Add to Playlist reliability by showing progress for selected releases and only marking songs as played after they’re successfully added. • Fixed an issue where adding a release to MusicBox could use the Apple Music link even when MusicHarbor was configured to open releases in Spotify. MusicBox now receives the Spotify link whenever MusicHarbor can resolve one. • Improved reliability when iCloud storage is full, with clearer handling when changes can’t be saved.

• Spotlight indexing is now more reliable, allowing you to search for artists and albums using Spotlight. Additionally, you can manually rebuild the Spotlight index by going to Settings → Advanced → Reset → Reindex Spotlight Index. • Fixed an issue where some albums could show an incorrect release date when only the release year was available.

Date formatting is hard, huh? Who would have thought? Anyway, this update fixes an issue where some newly found albums had an incorrect release date of today.

• Fixed an issue where followed artists could disappear after restarting the app if iCloud sync didn't complete successfully or there wasn't enough available storage. • Fixed an issue where in some cases, when an upcoming album was released, every song from it would show up in your feed as a separate single.

IMPORTING ARTISTS • Added support for importing artists from TIDAL libraries and playlists. • Added an option to filter your Apple Music library to favorite artists when importing. • Added a Listening History option to import artists you listen to but don’t follow from Apple Music. ARTIST PROFILE • Added a Similar Artists section to artist profiles for discovering and following related artists. NEWS • News summaries now use your preferred app language and regional conventions. RESOLVED ISSUES • Improved the grid layout to better adapt to a wider range of screen sizes. • Fixed an issue where adding multiple albums to a playlist could cause the app to quit unexpectedly.
