1. 2/5Concept is good but execution needs work

   I love the concept and have muscled through to make it work but hoping the developers can help determine why my experience has been so bumpy. The bulls-eyes are not at all correct for my phone. And there is no way to tell the app what phone model you have. I have downloaded and redownloaded the app several times. My next frustration may be because of the fact that I can’t use the bullseyes, but it is hard to read the words of the story because the first two lines are under the projector and the stabilizer. Without the stabilizer its hard to change the reel without it getting out of alignment and Even if you take off the stabilizer the projector arm still blocks the words. Developers /customer support team please help! I can’t image this app having any good reviews if this was everyone’s experience.

2. 5/5Fantastic but some minor inconveniences

   Absolutely great app. I’ve been using this every night since the beginning of January. I have no problems with it crashing on my iPhone 14 Pro. Just a couple nit picky issues. I read 2-3 story’s a night and at the end of the 12th page I have to take the moonlight device off every time I finish a story because I cannot press the ‘exit’… the device is in the way. Now I have to re-align the device for each story. Last thing is the app picks the lowest flashlight brightness. Yes you can adjust it in the app but it doesn’t go all the way up to the iPhones full potential flashlight brightness. iPhones lowest brightness mode is moonlights max brightness mode. This is just feedback and hope that one of the developers see this :)

3. 4/5Great for kids

   My toddler absolutely loves the projection and stories. When 2 of the codes for books purchased were not working the team was incredibly responsive, even after hours, to get it fixed, and were able to do so in an incredibly timely manner. Anyone with toddlers knows this can be important for when one of the stories is their favorite. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is it appears that most times when I turn reel, the projector itself moves, causing me to have to readjust it every time. A minor inconvenience and does not take long, especially if I manually hold down the projector each time I turn it, but would be nice if there was a way the projector itself could be a little more secure so this was not issue. Overall, we have really enjoyed this product though and would buy again.

4. 4/5Newest update for iPhone 17 needs revision

   My grandsons absolutely LOVE their Moonlight bed time stories! Any problem I’ve had with downloading have been quickly corrected by the team! Thank you!! However, I recently upgraded my phone to the 17 and updated my app. When I opened a story, the screen automatically rotated. Great idea, except the little light for the projector alignment rotated, too. There was no way I could fix it on the fly and aligning the projector was frustrating. If you (consumer) want to have the screen “portrait” style, you have to go into settings. If you want it rotated, “landscape,” you’ll have to align your projector first, and then go back to settings and switch it back to rotate. For the company, if you are automatically rotating, the alignment + needs to stay in the top left corner!

5. 5/5My 4 yo daughter asks for it every night!

   This has been one of the most wonderful little discoveries for our family. My daughter absolutely loves the stories, and our bedtime routine has become something we all look forward to. There’s something magical about turning off the lights, projecting the images on the wall, and reading the story together. For me, it’s also very nostalgic. When I was a child, my mom used to set up a projector at night and read stories while the pictures appeared on the wall. It created such a warm and peaceful moment before bedtime. Moonlite brought that feeling back for me, and now I get to share it with my daughter. The stories are engaging, the setup is simple, and it turns reading into a beautiful shared experience. Highly recommend it for families who want to make bedtime feel a little more special.
