   Let me begin with the cliche I would rate this infinitely lower if I could. I have been an avid and strong supporter of Microsoft for several years; first using it in the United States Navy then School and finally in the professional world, but this app and lack of support is ready to have me retract every good thing I have ever said about the company! I am having an issuing authenticating an account at my school. It is most likely the Schools fault. That being said there is no way to verify this as it is impossible to talk to a Microsoft representative over the phone. It is impossible to access support over chat without logging in to your account! I understand there are millions of problems every single day and it would be difficult for the company to address every single one, but don’t scale your company to the level that exceeds the volume of problems you are willing to address. Money hungry tech companies where CEO’s accumulate billions can’t expend the millions to outsource there trouble shooting it’s despicable and for the first time ever I am taking the time to rate an app and boy is this one a doozie. Shame on Microsoft may God have mercy on your positronic souls!

2. 1/5Mess of an app

   Let me say that this app used to be good back in the day. From school to work, most places used this as the go-to authentication method. It was easy to use, but that was back then. The new authenticator is full of glitches and impossible conundrums. To register a new account in the app it would ask for the codes that are shown in the same app but on another page, with no way of viewing them. How? Or it would ask you to approve a sign-in request without the request ever popping up. But the main thing that makes this app horrible is the lack of support. Unless you can log-in and fix the problem yourself, you’re out of luck. I lost revenue and precious time trying to get into my work account when I knew the email and password. The authenticator app simply wasn’t working. The phone number tells you to go online. Everything online requires you to login to get anywhere. I had to request a call from the sales team(who can’t solve any issues cuz they only do sales) and beg them to help me get into contact with a tech support rep. Then it still took 2 more weeks. There’s other WAY better authenticators out there nowadays. So I wouldn’t recommend Microsoft anymore.

   Ocupo desarrollar una red de drones con motives de seguridad y monitored crowded cities and vandalism so I need electronic tablets with data base to send a government institutions like police, fire departments, hospitals etc but in network, for security reasons and quickly helped and for disaster naturals how can you can help me with the programation and the design of drones which are electric power and battery powered hibrids and 5 and 300 power horses in motors but light design using nanogravities on the design to easy hover and flying and a tripod to landing for connect to a solar power station, 5 rotors, and a database of one of the institutions like police station size 60?inches long and 60inches circular assembly and aerodynamic control and gps to see because they are going to be on red or network that means at the same time they will have to star power and beginning to get up like a little elicopter but with 5 rotors or elices can you please send me feedback it’s make sense to do a fundraising website to getting this technology and I like to sell others countries

4. 1/5This is an app pretending to be a safety measure. Spoiler alert: It’s miserable.

   Who on Earth thought this was a good idea? This is one of the worst safety apps I’ve ever had the displeasure of coming across. I’m a college student, so I use Microsoft Word to turn in assignments. I then left my account for a time over the summer of ‘25 due to having a summer break. I had no idea this horrid thing pretending to be a safety feature would be the biggest roadblock to accessing my college account. I go to sign back in and find out I need to download this app, okay, odd but sure I’ll download it. Tell me why for the next hour I’m in a miserable cycle of trying to get access to my account on my laptop while not being able to sign into the authenticator either. Every single time I try to ‘sign in’ to my account on the authenticator, I need permission from…the authenticator? But how? I’m already ON THE APP! HOW CAN I ASK FOR PERMISSION FROM THE AUTHENTICATOR WHEN I’M ON THE AUTHENTICATOR? Needless to say this was a completely unnecessary safety update so people couldn’t hack into my account (as if two step-verification doesn’t exist) and use my Microsoft Word. Microsoft Support is equally as useless. -10/5 tell whoever came up with this idea is not intelligent in the slightest.

5. 1/5When Corporations Do Things that Nobody Even Asked For

   If I could rate this no stars, I would. For the sake of “protection” this app makes it ten times more difficult to sign into your own accounts 🤩 It’s truly a thrilling experience to get a million verification texts when all I want to do is sign into my email. It brings me so much joy to have to redownload and then delete this app from my phone every few months when Microsoft stops remembering who I am. I only have a Microsoft account because my University uses it. What am I emailing that requires me to have to go through this entire ordeal? I could care less if a hacker knew about my invitation to have lunch with the Dean of the Honors College. It’s like using a high security bank vault to protect a moldy ham sandwich. And what’s worse is the Authenticator barely works. It doesn’t even sync up with the computer I’m trying to sign into. That is all. I wish I didn’t have to download this scummy corporate software onto my personal phone. The college should have to pay for it tbh or disable the two step authentication (which is more like a million step authentication. Seriously, when I say I had to sign into six different times on both my phone and my computer, I mean it).
