   Load time is fast. First screen shows all the information you need without having to tap or go to a menu to reach a second screen. Also like the multiple payment option which favorably effects your credit score. I have a few credit cards with their apps and this one works better than most. I prefer paperless and I’m able to see everything I need to on the app. On transactions you can filter and get to the information you need and maybe one feature I’d add to the app would be to have the ability to send the filtered transaction data to my email in CSV or excel format for expense forms. I’m sure that feature is available on the website but I mostly use the app.

   Honestly, it started off well you guys, each and every one of you should know the truth that they target people with low credit scores even when you have a payment plan with them, they give you more credit when your almost finished paying it off they give you a credit increase bringing up your spending power but leaving you to pay the amount that was not there and then tell you to pay the other amount and if you don't they will sell your information to a third party taking off almost 200 points that they never placed there in the first place which is messed up. A bit of advice save your self from this insanity I wish I had someone to tell me don't they call and keep treating you to pay then after before you know it it's sold without your knowledge no date of it or ntg

3. 1/5The MercuryCard App is HORRIBLE!

   I wanted to sign in and make a single payment. The app is not intuitive and there appears to be no way to make a one time payment. The only option to make a payment is to select “Easy Pay” and enter a custom amount. It then asks if you want to split your payments. NO!!! I just want to make a simple one time payment, although it appears that the amount I entered is now going what is also automatically paid each month? I truly have no idea if it will process as a one time additional payment for way over my minimum or if it now my monthly payment amount and if it changed my regular payment date?!?!?! Horrible horrible non-intuitive app and I’m guessing that they make it as hard as possible to keep you from paying your card off as soon as possible so they can continue charging their outrageous interest rates for as long as they possibly can.

   I have several credit cards through various credit companies. Since dealing with Mercury my card has been frozen. This is the first and only time a company has done this. I call because I have a few grand still available to make purchases with and have not been notified that my account had been frozen. Upon calling the representative tells me they indeed froze my account for suspicious activities. I ask the representative what that means because I check my account app daily to maintain an accurate record of my transactions and to know which have posted. The representative tells me that the suspicious activity is several payments made on my account consecutively within a period over 10days. She asked me to verify that I did indeed make these payments. I had so I verified. Then she asks me why I use my card and make payments so quickly. I do not carry cash on me because I am required to travel so even receipts are easier to keep if its on a credit card statement. I don’t feel that I should have to explain why I use my card frequently nor should I have to explain why I make payments when I do. Im very upset that having good payment history or using my card within the already approved credit limit should cause the company to freeze my card, even more angry that I wasn’t notified before hand! I will continue to do business with them but only for the reason of needing a variety of creditors for my credit portfolio. If you prefer using a card often or are building your credit and plan on paying the card off quickly I don’t recommend this company.

5. 1/5Still charge interest after I paid full balance before due date.

   One of the worst credit card. Beware that once you start using the card and you make minimum payment, and the you decide to make full payment you will still be charge interest. I had a balance of 2500 that carried for a few months so it made sense that I was getting charged interest. Then I decided to pay the full balance on my current statement before the due date but I realize that there was still another interest charge of $63 as a balance after they applied my full balance payment which do not make sense. I paid 3 other card full balance at the same time and none of the other cards had another balance after full statement balance payment. When i called for explanation, I’m told that once you carry a balance, you can’t pay the full balance once because of you pay it once, you still got charged daily for interest so you will still have the residual interest charge to you after you pay off, This is reduculous…
