1. 5/5Wrong address

   Some how Lyft app pulled up a different address than the one I put in which was my home address. The text from Lyft that was sent to me stated that they was coming to my King Richard Road address!!! Not sure how that mix up happened but thankfully the driver was nice enough to work with me to fix the issue. The doctors appointment was very important for me so I was so thankful that she went out of her way to help me. My bank first denied my payment to Lyft because they thought it was a scam alert and then Lyft canceled my pick up and this all happened 10 minutes before I was to be picked up. I was so upset because my appointment was very important. I had scheduled the ride several hours before and for Lyft to notify me 10 minutes before I was to be picked up was so stressful to where I was crying to get things straightened out with my bank and then had to reschedule my ride causing me to be 15 minutes late! Thank God my doctors office was willing to let me be late. Also, the app is hard to understand because I can’t figure out how much I’m being charged for the rides. I’ll have to try and read the app better and hopefully I can figure it out. I don’t know if you like feedback or ideas that may help with the situation I had endured today, but maybe if Lyft could give customers a heads up that their payment wasn’t approved much earlier than 10 minutes before their ride would sure help things to go much more smoothly!! Otherwise so far everything else seems to have been good!! Thank you!!!

   I will never ride with Lyft again after today I had the worse experience ever. To start off I ordered my Lyft app around 7:45Am to get my kids to school, Now they don’t have to be to school til 8:15 so I ordered it early enough to give them time if they ran into any issues so the Lyft App said the Lyft driver would arrive in 6 mins after after about 15 mins of waiting I called the Lyft driver to see what was going on because he was stuck on the app wherever he was for like 6 mins so when he answered I asked what was going on and he goes on to tell me that he was dropping his kids off and he should be here in 6 mins ( which it sounded like he was lying about that ) so I cancelled the ride and requested another ride so the app then tell me this guy would be here in 7 mins after about 5 mins of waiting I noticed that he wasn’t moving from where the app had him designated so I called him and he never answered so I cancelled again after I tried to call Lyft to talk someone that could help me figure out what was going on but there is no Lyft customer service number the only number I could find was for a Lyft gift card. I can’t even explain the anger I’m feeling right now I had to call my girlfriend, who had to call off work to get me and now I’m gonna be late to work which I have to get older people and take them to doctors appointments and Dialysis and my kids are gonna be late to school. Now I know for a fact Uber would never do this and I will for sure never give Lyft my business again

3. 5/5Double rides make me late for work!

   So, idk why but Lyft will give me a ride and the person will be in the middle of a ride. 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️ People go to work at 7am to 8am why in the world would you have someone take my rides around that time??? If anything that needs to be a feature that I can turn off at will I couldn’t be getting a Lyft driver that’s already driving someone somewhere! I also will pay more for a quicker ride and Lyft would literally give me someone who’s 11 minutes away. What’s the point of paying more for a quicker ride if I have to wait 11 minutes for them to get to me. So, I’ll cancel and choose a less expensive option and I’ll get someone who’s 3 minutes away…. What sense does that even make? Why not just give the ride to the person that’s already 3 minutes away. Then the price changes are weird! If I’m going to the exact same place everyday and I normally pay $10 to $15 to get there why in the world would I pay $44 dollars for that same ride??? Then they say it’s because of traffic and other stuff that 100% out of my control so I have to suffer because something that’s out of my control is happening… 😒 Then they say you can pay to keep the same fees. Why would I pay for that when my rides are normally the correct rates??? It’s just a money grab! They wanna charge you $44 for stuff that out of your control then tell you to pay to keep your same rates….

4. 5/5Personal opinion of Lyft & Lyft App

   Overall, decent app with decent performance but whenever you go to leave a tip & say your card was still locked or it had the tip selected with one of the multiple choices already without you realizing & your card is locked or you dont have enough in your account it will not let you use the app to book a new ride until you “pay off the balance” but by then I gave my driver a cash tip since I did not have enough on my card to cover the tip plus not realizing that I would have to pay the tip twice no matter what if I wanted to book any future rides again through the Lyft App. I tried to suspect the transaction through the app and had few options as to why the amount was wrong but it would not refund me back my money besides $1.12 or how much ever cents for “adjusting the ride payment” so was very upset and disappointed once that happened and couldn’t get it resolved at all. Besides that nothing bad to say so if at all possible they need to change that setting and if the transaction doesn’t go through for the full amount then it just needs to start over the payment options not freeze your account until you pay off that balance when in reality the ride was already paid for it pops up after you get dropped off to rate your driver then tip them so it froze my account over a OPTIONAL TIP! I find that very upsetting & yall lucky to of gotten 5 stars from me STILL but like I said outside from that I’ve had zero issues.

   I have used Lyft for several years and I think that based on that alone, Customer Service should go above and beyond for people that have been using their app and their service for quite some time. On December 23, I had a driver that canceled a ride during a stop and I wasn’t even taking long time to go into the store. I was actually able to go in and come out very quickly. I noticed once I got into the store that I got some type of notification asking if I was OK but I ignored it. What had actually happened Was the driver canceled during the stop without my knowledge. He did not try to come into the store and get me. He did not try to contact me. He just canceled. My coat was in the car and I tried to contact support and Customer Service in order to retrieve my coat and I kept getting delayed responses. Not only that, but I was told that I would be charged to have my coat returned to me. I understand that there are cases where people are in a rush and they get out of the car and leave things, but this was not the case. The driver canceled the ride while I was still within the allotted timeframe. I was told to come back to Customer Service in a week to see if they could help me. They said that they could not help me any further because the driver does not have my coat and that they would not be able to compensate me for my coat or at least give me a credit for the equivalent of what my cost which is $40. This is a terrible policy and should not be used in cases where it is not the passenger‘s fault.

   I have Uber One annual subscription but still use Lyft quite often. It's very reliable in many cities foreign and domestic.

   I've been using Lyft for about 8 years now ...prices have doubled in that time the purpose of Lyft was to be cheaper then a cab now it's cheaper to take a cab if you can find one.

   I have used your company times in the past but this was the worst. You sent a 3 drivers 3 times to the wrong location. There is no way to contact anyone to correct the mistake in other word you can't speak to a live person to explain and correct the mistake. Then I see a $3.00 for a missed ride. I am very displeased with your service. Suppose that ride had an emeŕgèncy element to it. Your company wasted 3 drivers time. Is there a live customer service # to call when thing go wrong?
