   Alma totally exceeded my expectations!! She spent so much time with me and my picky self finding just the right outfit. I felt like I was taking up way too much of her time, but she assured me I wasn’t. I would have been irritated with me if I was the stylist. Lol I didn’t like the first set of outfits that I got, but that’s because of the way I answered the questionnaire in the beginning. Side note, I think the questionnaire should let you pick more than one style. Alma really listened to me. I’m going to Florida next month and I am sorely lacking in casual, cute outfits. I wanted Caprice. I also told her I really needed tops. She found the Capri jeans and sent me an outfit she put together. And because I’m so picky, I didn’t Like the top. She sent me two more to choose and I loved one of them. AFTER she had put the whole outfit together, I asked if she could change the sandals. I liked the sandals she matched with the outfit. But I forgot to mention that I needed a strap on the back. I think at that point I would’ve dropped me. Lol She sent me THREE to choose from. Talk about a patient stylist!! I ended up picking one of those and they were only $20!! Alma asked my budget and found me the cutest outfit and the best deal ever! I actually ended up buying two of the Capri jeans. I am so happy with the outfit she picked out and the price!! if you can request a stylist, I highly highly recommend Alma! She deserves more than fire stars! Thank you Alma! You are so very kind and helpful! I hope I can request you again.

2. 5/5A scam filled with hidden recurring costs

   The app itself. is fine and interesting- but when you click on an option - while it shows the cost, it suggests it is a one off expense. My $20 session turned into an $80 monthly subscription - of which I was not informed and continued even after I cancelled my subscription to Lumi. While I was warned of the renewal charges for the initial subscription by email, I was not informed of the far more expensive hidden subscription. When I contacted the company - I received an immediate response which then explained, at my request, how to cancel the additional subscription through the app. None of the menu options stated in how to end the subscription exist in the app. All further enquiries from me were ignored. Eventually, I found a way to cancel the secondary subscription after digging around on the website. However useful this service may be - it is not worth $120 a month. I feel this service is. very deceptive in its charging structure and designed to bleed money from its membership. This would appear to be my only method of actually lodging a complaint.

3. 3/5Glitchy App and poor offering

   Update: I was refunded by the head of customer service when I reached back out. I raised my score to a 3. Thank you! I decided to try LUMI after seeing an Ad on IG. I answered the questionnaire and tried to upload a picture, but the last part of the questionnaire wouldn’t let me continue so I closed out and opened the app again. It didn’t save all my answers or the picture. It said I’m a hour glass, but I’m more pear. Not very accurate. After an hour of using I found it very glitchy and I kept getting errors. I closed out and went back in and I also deleted and redownloaded. I disliked all of the outfits the stylist picked for me. I don’t like strapless tops and that wasn’t one of the items I could note to not include. Two outfits had those. Also, most of the pants were high waters. No thank you! Ewww. Other items were beige which I didn’t put as my favorite color because my skin is beige, it washes me out. The items I liked from the other offered outfits were ALL sold out! I think I like 3 pieces that I’d purchase, but were sold out. To top it all off, I asked for a refund and they said I couldn’t because of personal reasons. I cancelled my subscriptions immediately and now I have to pay $25 and $44 for something I’m not even going to use. I regret my decision and I’m so frustrated. Use daily look, they are way better!

4. 2/5Waste of money - but they have good marketing

   I don’t understand how stylists can make clothing recommendations without ever seeing what I look like. They have no idea what colors look good on me. They have no idea what styles would look good on my body shape. All of the conversation that I had with the initial stylist felt very ChatGPT like. If I just wanted to browse clothes on H&M‘s website, I could have done that myself. The best part about this app is your marketing department. Your advertising made this sound like it was a very unique and exciting idea. I was super excited to pay the subscription price to meet an actual stylist who would give me genuine recommendations. The “monthly session“ is nothing more than a chat via text through the app which feels like you are conversing with ChatGPT. It’s not a phone call, or a FaceTime video for the stylist to see what you actually look like. You are chatting with a bot. My negative review has nothing to do with the price, because I was extremely willing to pay it. So they got me for the first month and yes, it was a waste of money, but I’m not upset about it. If you are able to search up a specific style on Pinterest and get many pins displayed to you with outfit ideas, that is exactly what this app will do. But you can do it for free on Pinterest. If you have absolutely zero idea how to Google or search on Pinterest, then sure, you can give this a try and waste your money.

5. 1/5Total scam

   This you in with promises that it’ll change your life in the wardrobe if you’re plus size but then will you sign up for the app it doesn’t even go up to a size 18 and it starts with a size 2. Not only did I waste my time. Downloading the app, but I almost lost five dollars. I requested a refund back from the company and when they didn’t give me when I actually got one back from The bank. That’s how god-awful it is. They don’t even deserve five dollars or even $.50 of my heart on her money for scamming people. I suggest you delete the app ASAP if you download it and if you’re thinking about downloading it please don’t. I actually got together with some of my friends, one of which was a lawyer to see if there is anything they can do legally about this app scamming people. I will say they do have a good marketing plan, but it’s totally opposite what you get when you this garbage. Please don’t drink the Kool-Aid or believe the hype. Customer Service is awful, the app and graphics are choppy at best and most of any advertisement that you see does not hold up when you actually get to the app. If I said this was a total waste of time, would be putting it lightly. The only reason I’m making a review is because my best friend actually downloaded the app and didn’t see the reviews and if this could save anybody from getting duped like we did, then it’s well worth the review. I will actually give it no stars, but iTunes doesn’t allow that. Please just delete it from the app catalogue.
