1. 3/5New version of software disappointing

   I used to love the software I could get a better detail of what the person did while in the room when I was not looking. Better history. I could also see where the person went as they left the Living Room and entered the kitchen - what did they do in the kitchen? But now The camera in the kitchen did not show they even entered the kitchen. I have my cameras set high priority, show any changes at 1 min. Set at motion, human and some cameras as motion tracking. The on screen display was better with the last versions. It’s a decent camera picture wise, audio is good to hear in the room BUT if you talk into it and comes out static or garbled. So, is there another software I can use with these cameras? Or do I need to get a whole new system?

2. 2/5So frustrating

   These work when they want. I bought one pack of 2 and also a pack of 2 SIM cards. I had them about 2 weeks and I loved it so I bought another pack of 2 and2 SIM cards. About a month later I was going to buy another pack etc. But that’s when all 4 cameras decided to act up. Glitching and not recording when it was important to record. I went camping for about a week and 3 of my cameras stopped working. I did a restart on my phone but no luck so that whole week it wasn’t recording anything I couldn’t even see anything. My screen was completely black. Right now I’m at work and I’m waiting for some deliveries and also an oil delivery. And of course. The camera decided to stop working. As of right now I am looking for a replacement. Sometimes my phone alerts me of motion detection when I get a chance to view the recording it shows the blue lines but when I go and check it says not recording available.

3. 3/5DONT UPDATE THE APP. THEY ADDED AI!!! NOMORE PRIVACY

   This app works well for what I need. I just needed some eyes on my child’s bedroom while they slept and while they played with other kids. I initially only had the personal complaint of not having audio on for front display before entering the camera but now I’ve started receiving more detailed alerts about movement on the camera. . . This is a red flag to me because that means the application updates on its own without my permission. This also points to the app having background activity that I may not consent to. I haven’t updated this app since 2 months after I got it. I’ve had this camera for 3 years. Wether I purposely didn’t update it or forgot to update it. The app updated on its own without my consent/permission. I will not talk badly. I will leave it up to you to figure out what that means for the end user.

   I really loved this product at first because it works when you are far away and tells you when there is detections. Till today I noticed my detections started leaving me messages things like “2 people are laying on the bed watching phone” “child is watching phone” “child’s room a bit messy on table and child laying in bed” that is beyond creepy and weird and makes me feel like someone is watching my child to know all the details. And being that diapers and clothes get changed feels extremely inappropriate for a camera to know that extensive details. Will not be using this camera anymore I don’t feel like my child is safe with this really seems like someone is watching him to know all the details like that.

5. 5/5Ads can be turned off

   In your settings under Permission Management you can turn off ads. This was a horrible decision by them to add this “feature” to my camera I’ve had for years and to turn it on by default. The interface isn’t very user friendly is but I do like the camera a lot and their customer support in the app was quick to respond to my questions about how remove the ads, and how to clear my memory card in the camera. Get a memory card and you will not need to subscribe to any cloud service with it to get good results. I use this quite often to check on our pets when away from home.
