   I’m honestly really disappointed in this app. I currently am using it for my baby registry. I really liked it because of the multiple store options for my guest to choose from, for the most part it’s really easy to use and add items you want. The problem with this app: My address is on my registry to make it easy for guest to add, the guest have to add my address manually at the end of their purchases instead of it being added automatically, what’s the point of having my address if they still have to enter it manually instead of it just being added automatically. The app doesn’t show on my side or the guest side which gifts have been purchased, I’ve only been given notification from one gift being purchased even though I have had multiple guest purchase gifts, how do we ensure we don’t get multiples of things that have already been purchased why not show it’s been purchased. Still have yet to receive some of the gifts that have been purchased and the chat on the site is not helpful in tracking the purchased gift so I’m still waiting though certain gifts were purchased over 3 weeks ago and we haven’t gotten them yet. Hopefully we can get them before my baby comes. Overall, choose a different app for baby registry this has been really frustrating experience.

2. 3/5Fine. Needs work

   I have been using this registry for years now just to keep a general wishlist or to share when someone is wondering what to get me. It’s helpful that you can add from anywhere. I will say that for whatever reason the app has lowered quality this year. First, it no longer allows you to sort by price from most expensive to cheapest or from cheapest to most expensive. Second, it now randomly sorts the items you add rather than allow you to see what you added at the top of the page making the whole experience much less easy to use. Third, anytime you use a filter or sort the registry items it will immediately go back to normal sorting if you open an item prompting the page to reload which makes the process more annoying. I also think the app could use an option to add cash funds for non-items to be gifted as well as allow you to paste a link directly into the site with a pic. Overall, it’s mostly fine but could use some updating.

3. 3/5Best gift list app I’ve found

   Hands down the best gift list app I’ve found because you can list from any shopping website and it’s free. It can be quite buggy though, and despite the frequent updates, some issues don’t seem to get fixed or even get worse. But still, best app I’ve found for maintaining multiple online wishlists. A developer responded with asking how they can earn another star. I’d happily give them five if they can permanent fix these two issues, one of which I’ve had for years: 1. Almost ever since I’ve been using the app, it’s pretty common (I’d say roughly 30% of the time at a minimum, but lately seems more like 70%+) for the app to have some kind of error and say ‘we were not able to capture all the item information’ and stuff will get left out, like the price and photo (sometimes with no easy way to get a good photo in there). 2. The list names don’t display correctly sometimes. For instance I have a list named after my daughter (it’s her birthday wish list) but when I share it, the link and the page the link takes people to both say my name, not my daughter’s, even though it’s *definitely* the list I made for and named after her.

   I used to make lists for Christmas or my birthday of what I wanted but, being a bit of a control freak, I had specific items I desired and had to include the size, color, where to get it, etc. I also didn’t want whoever got me the gift to pay too much so I would sometimes send links of where the item is available for the cheapest price, but it was hard to keep it all organized and share with everyone. Besides that, I had to do the awkward “Remember to communicate with everyone else!” spiel so I wouldn’t get doubles. I knew there were wedding and baby registries, but I never realized you could make one for any occasion AND put items from any store on it! This website/app is it, and it’s so easy to accurately add items to the list. You can also make lists within the registry to say who the gift is for or any other way you want to sort it. I will continue to use this for every occasion from now on. LOVE IT!!!

5. 5/5Great to sync registries from different stores

   I had planned on pulling my baby registries from different stores onto one site so I could just share one link, and thought I would use the hugely promoted/advertised Babylist — until I realized that after creating one synced list, Babylist wouldn’t continually update with items we added in-person or things that were bought directly off the store registry lists. (?!) I hugely appreciate that MyRegistry auto-updates and also allows us to re-sync our registries as items are added or bought (although I’ve had some trouble getting BuyBuyBaby to re-sync, but only sometimes). The interface is pretty clean and easy to navigate too. Thanks for making this a helpful tool!
