1. 5/5Customer service and overall quality of service

   Iv had this account for good long while now and couldn’t imagine going back to any of the other banks iv had in the past for business and personal. Not to mention that there customer support/ service. My main account is a joint account with my wife & long story short(er) someone stole her phone from her right off my front porch.. and while canceling the service and changing the google info so any info would be blocked and locked n everything else. This scum person (that geo tagged them selfs right around the corner from us ). Went in and tried to use it Wi-Fi to make a PayPal transaction and transfer money to themselves and key sent a notification immediately and thankfully. But they helped her at 2 am get this mess of a situation figured out making sure anything that did was flagged and blocked and even helped with expediting her a new card. Just all around happy with them and their services so far and plan to keep my personal and business accounts with them for the foreseeable future..! Thanks again helpful voice on the other end of the phone we appreciate your help.

2. 1/5Update broke it, still doesn’t launch

   Update 4: app still broken despite yet another “bug fix” update. Idk how or why nobody can be bothered to fix this, it’s ridiculous. Update 3: App has been broken for over 2 months now. Absolutely no help was provided when talking to support beyond the basic simple delete and reinstall stuff. I said fine, so I downgeaded the app to use old version since it worked fine, and immediately get hit with “you must update your app”, with no way around that. Good job to whatever dense cabbage designed this… Update 2: Another app update, you claim “bug fixes” and yet it still doesn’t work. Same issue. I am not gonna waste my time calling your “support” because from previous experience, i know they were useless. If I hadn’t just reordered checks, I’d just be closing this account… ||||||| Update in response to dev’s reply: I tried deleting the app and reinstalling as you suggested, it still does the exact same thing. I did get the prompts for Bluetooth and location, then the screen briefly flashed and went to the red/black animation, but still same issue. This update simply broke something and it needs fixed :/ ||||||| Original review: Something’s wrong with this last update, because it now never loads or does anything. It just sits on the launch animation with the black/red text forever. I let it go like 5 minutes, tried restarting, still does the same thing. This is terrible, please fix this or let me downgrade… I swear nobody even tests their apps anymore before deployment- absolutely ridiculous.

   Like many others using this app, I too had all the same lack of device recognition and inability to access my accounts. A very efficient Key phone rep recommended that I delete the app and then re-download from the App Store. That solves the problem (the new app version includes a bug fix that resolved the issue). When asked if there was anything else she could do, I asked if there were a way I could combine my business accounts to the same login, so I was transferred to another adept rep who talked me through and now all my business as well as personal accounts are on the same app !! GREAT HELP ! ( PS the Business Accounts Rep had been getting calls all week with the ‘unrecognized device’ issue but he had not yet been appraised by Key Technology on the method to fix the problem !! Key IT needs to give all their reps the tools to do their work properly. They are our only link to fixing our problems and they do a good job at it... Evidently, however, a feature I really like with the app seems to be disabled once I added the business accounts to my profile. I no longer have facial recognition even though the feature is turned on in my System controls. I hope the is something that can be resolved.

4. 1/5Worst bank website ever

   This site is so slow I couldn’t get into it for six months and tech support couldn’t do a thing. I have 80 accounts so that may be unusual, but tech support is non existent. My CPA was also unable to access our accounts for the same reasons. I spent half an hour going through with tech support to delete our accounts and that was four months ago and they’re still there. Why bother even spending the time to put in a request - nothing ever happens. Also you have to watch this bank. My CPA said we got hit with $1000 of bogus service charges across many of our accounts. Other infuriating features include a comment field you can fill out when making a transfer. There is no way to review or see those comments ever again in the future. Some programmer did half the job and hapless bank customers spend time making notes only to find that their information is lost forever. And don’t get me started about the paper mail. First, I have paper mail turned off for all my accounts but Key randomly reactivates it and then charges you three dollars a month for something you don’t even want. I get literally stacks of paper mail for these accounts and it’s a total waste. My bankers never responded to emails and made promises they never delivered on while sucking up free use of $1 million and more of aggregate cash balances.

5. 2/5Not sure who’s to blame

   One of my biggest irritants about the app is the order in which my transactions/deposits/withdrawals get posted. They are always out of order and showing “posted” on dates that the original transaction was not made all because that’s the day it finished processing. I understand processing periods but those aren’t the dates when I made the transaction and it throws me off on keeping up with my account properly. It will show money amounts that I did not have because it adds my deposits before it posts my transaction or withdrawal which again, throws me off. Because why is it showing a deposit posted 2 days before I actually had it deposited? It makes no sense and it’s frustrating. I don’t trust electronic services 100% so I like to track my spending on my own and the way it’s set up makes it almost impossible for me to do. The set up of how this app posts transactions is so frustrating and has me on the verge of switching my bank as soon as I find one that posts my transactions in the actual order they were made and not in the order in which they were done processing. It’s not my fault it takes 3 days to process, but the money sure comes out right away so why isn’t it reflected as such? Make it make sense
