3/5Not right
I love being able to see where my refund is and staying updated. The use of the app is plain and simple. My only issue is why do we have a limit on how many times we check on OUR money. It’s our information , our tax return. Why does it matter if some of us are more obsessive at checking the status than others? It’s part of some disorders like myself (autism), we tend to have a specific routine and constant check of clarification. Anyways I’m having bad anxiety now because I can’t check my status until tomorrow. I recently found out that my roommate is passing from cancer and I’m trying to pay off her half of the rent and help and this refund is what I need to do that. $5 a day every day it’s late. Seeing the status gave me calmness that it will be over soon. 😔

2/5Practically Useless
I tried to use this app to see if I could verify my tax refund, per the letter mailed to me saying I had to do so. The website would give me any option to verify my return, it just said that the option wasn’t available even though my mother could see the options. The app didn’t have any better options either. It just had me put in my tax refund information and gave me a status with no other options. This app has next to no functionality other than checking your refund status and payments plans. It has less functionality than the website, so I wouldn’t even bother with it.

5/5More Than Either Reason
IRS2Go is a very optimized, click-done app. I downloaded it during the pandemic's emergency funding check stage, and basically it's the one-function booster action you'd use to check your status. Therein, one negative: IRS2Go is the only official Internal Revenue Service mobile app, and only official system apps can access infrastructure services, however, it only determines your current taxpayer status. You download the app you sent in your tax money, and IRS2Go lets you know whether you're pending, finished, late, done for, etc.. Awesome. You would think so up front, same, if the app's existence was common knowledge: 'Download the official notification.' You get there, you know? It's kind of surprising there's a government system app, really, and the blankness makes the protocol worthy. Thus, IRS2Go's greatness: Having rhe app on your home iPhone is basically like having a digital Social Security card certifying your digital wallet. It makes you feel 'defense worthy', impressive, with no data strain. Deactivate it, leave it in the App Library, and enjoy the unique app experience idly imposed. You notice to remember it exists on a rainy day, maybe a year later.

3/5Browser in a box, but it works
This app makes things easier to access but it isn’t a fully integrated interface for managing taxes... it redirects you (inside the app though) to a browser window where you will handle most processes. But that’s ok. It makes it easier to open what I need. I just wish it could remember me and let me make payments without having to login and verify my identity every time... this is basically an app that gives you shortcuts to where you need to go. 3 stars for well done app, but not 5 stars because it doesn’t handle things in the app.. but what do we expect? This works better than most government “programs” ;)

5/5Fast quick APP
Not just a “browser in a box” anymore. Easy to use, quick, and had all the info I needed right there. Works well. The only missing info is the ability to see transcripts. —Btw put “0” if you don’t know your refund or it’s negative I think the website says. Missing corona virus payment status but tell you specific dates for expecting your refund if via direct deposit and I’m guessing they may be done in one payment but haven’t gotten either refund or stimulus yet. I filed 4/20 and it says refund is to be deposited 4/29. Wasn’t “approved” until 4/25.
