1. 5/5Great food, minimal options

   Oysters, Mac and cheese salads and dodo shrimp. All excellent. Salads were so fresh, would have really loved to have been able to enjoy without pressure, because they brought the hot food and salads out at the same time. Had to send both main dishes back for not being hot. Lastly it is Valentines and we had an early reservation, we were the first to be seated along a long wall and the table they chose to assign use was right at the crack in the booth. We were able to slide over so the one person on that side didn’t have to sit on the crack. There were 2 4 tops on either side of us and the hostess then chose to seat the one we were closest to and asked us to slide over. We pointed out the crack so we slid over next to the other 4 top. Thank goodness it was never used because the only way to get to this table would have been to move us again. Restaurant was not full an hour later and we should not have had to be seated at a crack and asked to move our table. Waitress Bailey was great, food was good. They need to be more aware of customer experience. We may try on a non holiday to see if they figure out customer experience is important:

2. 5/5Usually good, not this time

   Order was not as we requested. My husband can’t eat eggs. When ordering it we requested it on the side, for our skillet like we ALWAYS do. It came with the eggs on. I mentioned this to her as she put it down. She said ok we will remake it . When it arrives back in 7 minutes it only had the eggs removed. Fine, I guess we gamble if it makes him ill. My back ground is f/b. I know when an item is just sent back out. Eggs not even warm and the same for the skillet. The cheese, where the eggs used to sit, was the only cheese melted. Surrounding cheese still unmelted. When the diced potatoes don’t come out hot is also a huge indicator. They always come out supper hot. Yes I could have said something AGIAN but I didn’t want to turn our Sunday breakfast into a complaining session. I used my INKIND app (which I love and highly recommend getting) valentines reward for this. So…ya it was almost 1/2 off but now my husband said he won’t be back. It’s close by and I enjoyed there. I guess since I used my valentines reward for this at MH I have no other choice than to break up with them.

3. 5/5Fantastic app - I highly recommend

   I downloaded this app only because it was part of Amex offers. I kept seeing it Amex app again and again and decided to download it. And it’s been a great decision. I absolutely love this app. In 3 months I have been using this app in NYC, I have easily saved over $200. Even without the Amex offer, the monthly fee for the app is worth all the money and more. I would also recommend because through the app I found two great restaurants in NYC - Kanyakumari and Kabob aur sharaab. I also had great experience with their support team. For some reason, I didn’t get the monthly $50 promo in my account, they added it without any questions asked. Only small issue I have faced - in places where the internet connection isn’t great, you won’t be able to pay using the app. Happened to me once in Maman but haven’t happened since.

   I really do love this app. I’m a big foodie, I go out to eat a lot. I love trying new restaurants and this app enables me to do just that. I go to all kinds of restaurants including fine dining. This app allows me to save money and earn cash back while eating good. I would have given 5 stars however, unfortunately I just found out from another review that the company has gotten rid of the monthly $10 off of $30 bonus. I noticed about 2 months ago that I stopped receiving the bonus. I was going to start paying for the app so I can get the $50 off of $150 monthly bonus but now I’m hesitant to do so if the bonus is no longer offered. The monthly bonus was one of the main key components that made the app so appealing. I have saved a lot of money using InKind and I love the app. I’m really hoping they bring back the monthly bonuses, or that this hiatus is to improve the bonuses. I still definitely recommend the app but if you join now, you won’t know how absolutely amazing the savings used to be. You’ll still save money but you would’ve saved more :(.

5. 5/5Anniversary / early valentines date.

   I celebrated with my husband. For once he is not too good at picking places this year it was his turn. And he blew me out. Delicious food he got the lamb chops I got the pistachio crust salmon. And let me just say WOW! Delicious. For the table we got ponme puree and glazed carrots also delicious. And what blew my mind out even more was the dessert. Potato ones are very generous. We tried the wild berry butter cake and the espresso noir. And before I finish this of I can convince you who read this to try this place out besides the food being delicious it’s the environment. The hospitality won my heart. The staff is so kind and helpful. Over all I am leaving but planning my next visit. 🩷
