1. 5/5Great new alternative to Chinese food!

   I love the unique delicate flavors! Lots of chicken alternatives that are sweet, tangy or spicy! fresh vegetable side and plenty of rice. Macaroni salad also comes with each meal!! Huge portions. Truly enough for more than one meal. I felt the Molokai chicken was spicier than the Kilauea chicken although I was told the latter was spicier. You may be able to add even more heat!!!! I had a chance to sample the “luau pig” also. It was extremely tender and I was surprised it was so flavorful because I didn’t see any sauce. I enjoyed this experience and will definitely be back to try some of the other dishes! This is a welcomed change for someone who loves rice dishes like me!!

2. 4/5Delicious Food…

   Food is delicious. Portions are big. Would recommend this place to everyone. However do not order curbside pickup. There is no way from their app to notify them when you’ve arrived. The app instructs you to park is pickup space #1-4 and they’d bring it out. I waited over 10 minutes and no one came out. Several employees looked out during my time there and still no one moved. You’d think if they would see someone parked in those spaces they would at least look and see if there is an order for that color and make of car (cause they do ask when placing order). It’s disappointing that the curbside pickup they offer seems to be non existent. They should just offer order ahead and pick up through drive through or inside. I ended up going to the drive through to get my order about 10 minutes after arrival and after the time they said it would be ready.

3. 4/5Order Agin Button Needs work

   The app is fine overall — pretty standard for a food ordering app. I can browse, order, and pay without any issues. The problem comes when I use the “Order Again” section. It doesn’t recreate my exact previous order. It pulls in the same main entrée, but the sides don’t carry over. Instead, it fills in the recommended options based on what other people have ordered recently. This makes the “order again” feature way less useful than it should be.

   I placed an online order at 10:17 pm, I was told the food would be ready at 10:22, I show up at 10:30 to pick up my food. I tell them I have an online order and proceeded to give my name. They tell me they are still currently working on the order, to pull to the front and they’ll come find us when it’s done. My husband and I then sat and waited for 30 minutes, seeing 4 other customers get their food even though they arrived AFTER us. We thought there had to be a misunderstanding, my husband talks to the guy brining orders out and said our order had been sitting on the counter for 30 minutes. It had been ready when we got there, yet no one tried to give it to us. They tried to give us the old food but we wanted a refund instead. We received the refund but I am still very disappointed with the situation.

5. 3/5Not Bad, But Improvement Needed

   I recently visited HawaiianBros for lunch, and while the food itself was not bad and the portions were okay, my experience left a bit to be desired. I ordered my meal with macaroni, but unfortunately, they left it out and gave me a double scoop of rice instead, which I didn’t ask for. Additionally, I had a free soft serve reward that I wanted to redeem, but the app wouldn’t let me add it to my order. Even the staff at the store couldn’t help me with this, suggesting that maybe it takes a few days to activate, but I’m not convinced that’s the case. Overall, I’ll be back because I enjoy the food, but they really need to improve on paying closer attention to the orders and ensuring they get them right.
