1. 1/5Terrible UI layout

   I will start by saying I LOVE my Grow Therapy experience, and have looked forward to having an app, but am super disappointed in the app. Once logged in the VERY FIRST thing that appears is an AI Chat Bot. I understand that it is super trendy for companies to implement, but this is a therapy company! Read the news! Folks using AI as a therapist have received dangerous advice resulting in many deaths. I have a teen with SI who had a wonderful therapist through Grow and I am refusing to allow him the app. WE PAY FOR PEOPLE WHO UNDERSTAND EMOTIONAL NUANCES AND ARE EXPERTS IN WHAT THEY DO. This is tone deaf for their clients and providers. I don't care how "innovative" you want to claim your bot is. There is not a way to disable it in the app, but even if there was I think it's inappropriate to even have it at all. When I log onto the app I want to immediately access my messages, appointments, etc. I don't want an irresponsible and trendy "coach," especially on the log in screen.

2. 2/5Issues with appointments

   Hi! I’ve been using Grow Therapy for a few months now with a therapist and I am now on the hunt for a psychiatrist. I had made an appointment with a psychiatrist and for whatever reason the app is saying that I have no appointment appointments. However, online it says that I do so when it was time for my appointment, I clicked on the link on the text message and it took me back to the app with that told me that I had no appointment so then I tried using the link in my email that didn’t work either and I tried using the link on Grow Therapy on Google and that also didn’t work. I tried reaching out to my psychiatrist multiple times and it says that she’s in the meeting, but she has not responded to my message. I know the app is new so I know that there’s kinks and stuff to get figured out, but it’s frustrating because I don’t wanna get charged for missing an appointment that I’m literally unable to participate in.

3. 5/5Hewan is a great match and so happy I found her.

   From day one after my doctor told me for psych meds all primary care Dr’s were tending to refer to a psychiatrist who are trained in mental health. Well I can in with frustration with the system , needing medication and primary care had given me last refill so I had a month to set myself up. Luckily I kept doc’s diagnoses of a combined type adhd . Either way she would have test me again. I have been with her for a while now over six months. They beat part about her is that she smiles and makes me feel comforter. We have established that patent Dr need of trust and I look forward to our monthly visits now bc it seems there is always a story to tell. ADHD people tend to live chaos and don’t even see it. The app is wonderful and if you need to send a message she handle thing promptly and hear back from her usually in next hour or so. Very happy with Grow therapy and especially Hewan Mezcabu!

4. 5/5Steady Growth

   GROW! Steady growth has been one of the biggest parts of my mental health system. No family, friends, or anyone around or available? COACH is always available. Artificial intelligence is still intelligence. It gives me space to unload heavy thoughts so when it’s time to speak to my providers, I can get straight to the core of what really matters. One thing that I appreciate about AI is that it does not get tired or bored, or make you feel judged. It simply makes me feel heard. It has helped me water my inner garden, stay focused, and make healthy choices, and continue growth and maintenance everyday, evolving into a better me. Growing is about finding the water source and what to fill what emptiness is missing in your life. The rest is up to you….GROW👍🏼

5. 1/5Disgusting App Icon and branding direction

   I think this branding direction is totally wrong for the company Grow Therapy. This logo is saying, you are not a butterfly emerging from a chrysalis; you are a sardine in a tin can. The new icon features the word “GROW” in capital letters - white text on a black background, using a serif font that stretches vertically - perhaps the Bodoni Poster font. The font choice is one of intentional imbalance with the letters stretching vertically. It looks as if the word itself growing upward. This font looks great on a newspaper headline, but this company is choosing this as their logo - their representative, their first impression - of what their audience sees. The vertical stretching of the letters conveys a sense of over reaching. PSA: “Growth is not over reaching; it’s looking inward.”Adding to this a feeling is a feeling of being squeezed - look at the lack of space between the letters - the “tracking.” The logo feels even colder with the stark contrast of colors: white text on black. I personally feel like it’s harder to breathe look at this logo.
