1. 4/5The app no longer allows me to login easily

   The app keeps asking me when I go to login if I’m giving permission to continue using the website, but the button to continue is below the screen so I can’t click on it so every time I go to login it keeps asking me this and I’ve answered this a couple of times and it’s nearly impossible for me to get logged in with the way the app is now. I have an iPhone 17 so it doesn’t work anymore. Maybe the app needs to be updated or maybe ask the question once and quit asking it every time I try to login

   This app RARELY to NEVER works anymore. Used to work great but the last year or two it works MAYBE 1 out of 15 log ins. Not sure what they changed but change it back! The app now NEVER saves your log in ID, Face ID approval or even user name which is so frustrating. Everytime it makes you reset your password. Why do you ask me to SAVE PASSWORD & FACE ID if you don’t actually save it?? On top of not being able to log in ever, the app doesn’t load…anything. Just gives me a white page with no information. And no, it’s not my service or wifi or need to restart my phone or re download the app. This has been an ongoing issue for over a year. I just want to pay my bill once a month. Calling their customer service line is just as good 😉 nothing like waiting on hold for 20 minutes while entering in alllll your personal information just to be asked it again when you finally get connected 😁 OH and the app conveniently doesn’t work to do their revolt rewards any longer. That used to be such a great feature and I would waste so much time filling out their stupid quizzes, but it did save me money every single month and now if you waste the time to do any of that, it will never give you the points for it. How can such a giant company with endless resources that has been around forever not have, a good tech company?? crazy how you can always send a reminder when someone’s bill is one day late but other than that literally get nothing right. There’s no possible way that this app is rated a 4.8 when every single review from the last several years is a one star.

3. 1/5Maybe one of the worst optimized apps I’ve ever experienced

   Despite having Florida blue for 4 years, every single time I try to log in I have to reverify my device can log in through my email or a text (on the very same device I have logged into for those 4 years) Incredibly annoying. Now, and has happened before, when trying to search for providers on the app, nothing works. If you like error messages and jumping through hoops constantly just to use your health insurance, then this is the perfect app for you! This does not nearly deserve as high of a rating as it has. It’s actually criminally obvious from a user for over 4 YEARS this is one of the worst apps I’ve ever tried to interact with. But this is the insurance business model, making people so annoyed to interact with your app they would prefer not to use it. But you waste more money making me call, having to pay for someone to answer my calls. Infuriating me more. Not a smart business move overall. Welcome to insurance, Florida blue is just as toxic and bad as the rest when you trust them with your lives. And I do believe you actually make these obstacles/annoyances on purpose, making you pay for things easily wouldn’t make sense either would it? Awful. Awful. Awful. This app and fake positive reviews are also AWFUL.

   I’ve never had a problem with them. They’ve been my insurance company for seven years now. Now I have a major issue. My wife has been on a certain medicine for 10 years. Florida Blue has been paying for it for almost 7 years. Went to pick it up the first time this year and it said it needed to be pre-authorized. My doctor sent in the forms and they denied it been working on it for three weeks to get it approved. This isn’t just any medicine. This is a medicine my wife needs and has to have. They’ve been paying for for almost 7 years now all of a sudden it’s a problem. We’ve tried all the others that they listed on the denial. None of them worked or they had really bad side effects on her. This is the only one that works. In the five days she’s gone without it. We were within hours of having to go to the hospital. I finally had to pay out-of-pocket $430 for one month supply. We typically pay $10 for three month supply. I don’t know what they don’t understand about. This is a new medicine. This is a medicine they have been paying for for years that she desperately needs there shouldn’t be any question about it and there should be no delay in paying for it. When they are going to do something like this kind of would be nice. Not When you go to pick up your told, Insurance won’t cover it. This puts you in a jam right out of the gate. What they should do is pay for at least one more month until it’s approved again make sure you’re getting what you need. A medicine that if you stop taking it, you got violently ill or had bad effects on your body. I can’t believe they did this. I’m still fighting for it and have not gotten an answer yet. I guess they’d rather pay a $25,000 hospital bill then pay for the medicine that is needed

5. 1/5Utterly useless

   If you somehow manage to create an account (because it will try to refuse every password you try depute following the strict rules in creating one, then it wants you to create security questions. So you carefully read the strict rules for security questions, obtain green check marks next to each one and it still denies them. If you manage to skip past them because it won’t let you actually create them, it says it needs to verify you. At this point, it finally gets honest and just says it cannot access that function. So now I have a useless app, no real idea of what my benefits are or access to a provider list. Avoid the app and the insurance. If they are this inept with the website you need to use, how bad are they at the actual care and coverage? I was signed up for this at work. I’ll be seeing if it can be changed to anything else.
