4/5First Day- Free Trial
I can’t give a completely fair, thorough, review because today is my first day using the app, and I’m not yet paying for it- so I don’t have the emotions that are tied to my purse strings. With that being said, here is what I think of this app thus far. I haven’t worked out AT ALL for one full year, so I chose the intermediate option. This workout was difficult for me, but right when I thought I might die, it was done. The workout portion was great, I give that 5 stars. I am perfectly sore in the way that comes with a solid workout. I’ll be able to work out tomorrow, but my body is going to remember today’s workout. The only things I notice right off the bat that are keeping me from giving the whole program 5 stars today, is the limited meal menu, and it would be cool to have a graph that shows detailed dates that you should expect to reach your goal/hit milestones. It is very possible that the goal thing exists and I just can’t find it, but as far as the menu- a lot of the ingredients aren’t easily obtainable in the rural area in which I live. Also, some of the items aren’t things I eat (like fish,) but I don’t see another meal option to replace it with the same nutrient makeup. It would be nice if there were two or three options to choose from for each meal. If these things are actually available and this is a user error (highly likely), please point me in the right direction and I will gladly give 5 stars, and continue to use this app after the free trial expires.

4/5Good workouts but not enough explanation on form
I like this app, but compared to the Nike training app, they don’t really explain your form for workouts. I’ve only been using it for 3 days but so far the workouts don’t explain anything. It’s just silence during the reps or seconds. Even the most challenging workouts on the Nike app explain the form, where to tighten your muscle, keep a flat back, where you should feel the burn, etc etc. it’s crucial to know these things to get the best workout. Also, the workouts that are being recommend to me often have equipment I don’t have at home, so I’m left scrambling trying to find an alternative or just using nothing. For the price you pay a week there needs to be more fine tuning for your specific needs. I might go back to Nike, as their interface design is simply unparalleled. But I got bored of using the same app and wanted to try something new, so I’ll give this a few weeks and see if it gets better.

2/5Don’t Give This App Money
Others have written this same review but I hope to add some feedback. #1 it’s not free, there is no free version. #2 it’s not science, they’ll slap a graph on any weight goal you list and say it’s achievable in 4 weeks. #3, besides insulting your intelligence with a fake graph, they assume everyone is losing weight and many here are actually trying to build muscle. #4 and MOST APPALLING to me (when I consider that this app wants $20 of my money PER MONTH to be this bad) is the racist and sexist stuff, not all users are white people but we all have to see characters representing us who are European — it’s too late in time for that stuff to keep going on, you need to make an app that doesn’t force the user to reckon with their otherness, or we just won’t use your ugly app; #5 why is the first question “gender: man or woman” when working out is the same for any human body? A pull up is a pull up, no matter your gender — and the sexist stereotypes would actually be funny if this app was actually free. Women are trying to lose weight “quickly”? So do they think this will draw people in if it’s written this way? As a new user with any self respect, you should feel a little insulted. I hope the developers consider what they can change right away and what they can evolve to change in this design. This feels (to me) as if it is for a certain audience of insecure people who don’t Actually care about hitting their goals but like to look at an image of someone pretty and pay money towards that cartoon image I guess

3/5Good app, could use some expansion
I have been on a weight loss journey for a while, and found this app. It’s low in cost and has helped me lose weight. The only problem I have is that it asks me to choose what gym equipment I have. I currently have a 2 in one treadmill and bench press. I have not bought dumbbells yet, but every exercise included some things I don’t have. Even then I do feel that the app has other good qualities. It’s workouts do help with things that your focused on. I would download the app, but I’d I had a choice between a personal trainer/gym membership and this app, I would choice the gym membership. The big reason why I use this app is because it’s cheap. I gym membership in my town is 25 dollars a month. I am currently in collage, and do not have time to work another job, go to classes, and go the gym. This app is ok for a beginners, but after 4-5 months I would consider anybody who is not in my situation to just go the the gym. Ps. This is not meant to hurt the makers of this app, it is a suggestion for almost all fitness apps I have used. Most of the time the autogenerated classes can’t follow what you actually need. If you the time and money and want a home gym, buy peloton.

5/5Good Fast Workouts
I’m kind of surprised by all of the recent negative reviews. There are a lot of features in this app. I really like that you can go with their plan for you or you can randomly decide to do something else. The workouts you can build from are good and well thought out. They can be difficult. If you are not used to HIIT training or calisthenics then you may think the workouts are strange or not worth it for some reason. I don’t understand this. One reviewer said they are “fake” workouts. I have been doing similar routines although less structured on my own and have had good results. I am happy to have an app to keep things organized and keep my workouts fresh. The instructional videos for each exercise are really awesome as well. So far it’s been a good purchase I’m on week 3. Edit: You manage subscriptions inside of your Apple ID in settings. You can cancel the subscription outside of the app. This is not uncommon, don’t blame the developer because you don’t know how to use your phone or google things.
