5/5Absolutely love it!!!
This is such a great app! I use it all the time, and set alarms throughout the day, including reminder alarms to get the children's bedtime routines started on time. Time really gets away from me, and the reminder bells help me keep on track. I also like that I don't have to keep track of cards for doctor and dental appointments. I enter the date and time in right there when I make the next appointment, and set a reminder alarm for that morning. Fantastic! I have been using this app for over a year now, and it has only gotten better!! Update: THANK YOU for the update!!! I nearly had heart failure tonight when I accidentally updated my iOS. I had been avoiding this update, because I had read that errands wouldn’t work with it, and when I accidentally clicked “Install now” and my phone locked up, I panicked. I absolutely love this app, and tried a dozen others to see if I could find something that would work as well for me, and there just isn’t anything like it. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I save appointments and to-do list items, but I also save birthday reminders that repeat each year, and reminders to flip mattresses and change smoke detector batteries. My memory is terrible, and this app is my constant reminder for all those things I’d otherwise forget. I would give Errands ten stars if I could. It’s my most useful app. THANK YOU!!!

5/5Great on iOS 17!!
Developer keeps checking-in as Apple updates iOS versions, and he specifically states (in the app FAQs) that the app is working well. This is important to me because the App Store shows no updates for several years.. but if you go in to FAQs in the app, the developer talks about iOS 17. I LOVE Errands! Use it multiple times every day. It is efficient and so easy to use… you can use features or not, and the typeface is SO easy to read. Notes, repeating alarms, checklist feature, backup, sync, exports… so much… and SO USER-FRIENDLY. Previous review 2020: Errands should be on the App Store list of the top 100 Productivity apps. People would jump all over this app if they knew about it. Previous review, 2018: Errands has "It"... which is that special something that, when you find it, you know it. Task apps get in my way. I could never settle on just one because always, always there were features that just didn't work for the way I think. But Errands is like.... When I make a To Do list with pen and paper, I am thinking about the tasks I am writing. I am not thinking about the pen writing on the paper. Using Errands is like that. I am able to focus on what I'm going to do and what information I am entering, without thinking about what the app requires from me. I can plan and process fluidly, without getting tripped up by a feature that interrupts my flow. Thank you, Yoctoville. This app is truly outstanding.

4/5Software finally got an update after 3-4 years, but . . .
I have been using Errands for a number of years now and generally enjoying it and finding it useful. With its first update in years just a few days ago, there are a number of changes to appreciate: a viewable and much more user-friendly calendar; more tasks viewable on a page; the opportunity to divide a task into sub-tasks, etc. One thing that worked fine before but is now a source of frustration is how one moves a task from one day to another. Previously, one could click to open a task, then click a red arrow "quick schedule" button to move the task 1, 2, or 3 days or 1 week later. This change was relative to the date of the task as scheduled and was simple and easy. Now the choices are "Schedule for today," "tomorrow," "+2 days," "+3 days," and "+1 week," all of which is relative to today only. So, if you have a task scheduled next month that you would like to move 2 days later, it will instead move it 2 days later *this week*. In order to fix this, you have to take the extra step of opening up the whole task then opening up the full calendar to select the date you want. Grrr. Mr. Developer, if you're reading this, could you please fix this/change it back to the way it was before? I would be so grateful!

5/5Outstanding app
UPDATE: THANK YOU-THANK YOU-THANK YOU!!! I'm doing the happy dance because you updated this app. It is my all-time favorite! I use it for ToDo's, grocery list, medical treatments, art studio inventory, vacation trips and so much more - it is invaluable. I think I bought this in 2010 & it's still my most useful all-in-one task managing list. I don't use the calendar, but now it looks really nice! Fabulous update and I really appreciate you getting this done in time for 64 bit because I was getting a little worried! You are awesome! I have used this app for over three years now and find it to be the very best to do or anything else list out there! I gladly paid for this app - not because I was asked to, but because I wanted to reward the creator, it's that good. The only difference with the paid version is that you get iCloud sink which I absolutely love between my iPhone and my iPad. It will take a little effort to learn all there is to know about this app but it's well worth it!

5/5Great App!
I never rate apps, because I'm never blown away by anything. But, this app is different. The To Do list that I've been using for years is finally "dying," with the release of iOS 11. I had researched to find something comparable and downloaded Errands, as it seemed to be the closest thing to what I had - simple to use, and functional and useful features. I was so upset when the future of this app was in question. But, it's now fully updated and ready for iOS 11! THANK YOU! Now that I know it's sticking around, I'll be purchasing the premium version. (But, the free version is FULLY functional. I'm only purchasing it because I believe great developers should make money for making great apps.) (The ONLY thing I am having trouble with is customizing the background color of my tasks. Once I exit the app, the colors go back to the default settings. The app is so perfect for me, though, I'm not knocking any stars off.)

3.0
Please see IMPORTANT notes below! - Major UI redesign. Lots of new and improved functionality. - Native iPad support (universal app) - Important fixes for iOS 5 - Plus LOTS of little tweaks and enhancements. - This update requires iOS 4.0 or higher. Please do not attempt updating if you are still using iOS 3.x. - New Users -- Oops! A silly bug will cause the base folders to get replicated each time the app is cold-started. I am submitting a fixed version today. In the meantime, you can just delete the extra folders. - Existing Users - There is a bug in the update process which causes all undated tasks to get "starred" which creates some obvious confusion. To rectify, simply tap on the star to unstar all tasks you don't want to show up in the focus folder. - A note regarding the Focus Folder -- The new version uses a "star" system for the Focus Folder. It is MUCH more flexible than the old solution. You can toggle the "star" state for any task by tapping on the star icon. When a task comes due it will be auto-starred. This makes the Focus Folder much more useful as you can very easily determine what you need to work on NOW. The badge icon will reflect the number of tasks in the Focus Folder, keeping you up-to-date on what tasks need attention. ** If you are enjoying Errands, please leave a new rating in the App Store. NOTE: There is a bug in Errands 3.2 which will cause it to crash if you try to set an alert and there is not a default value set. I have submitted Errands 3.2.1 to rectify this problem.
