  1. 5/5Love Duly

Had appointment today at the Duly on 174th and Lagrange rd. Appointment was for 3:45, left my house 3:00, I live in Steger. Traffic was horrible, got to appointment at 3:52 or 3:53 , attempt to check in reception tells me the dr. has a 10 minute late period, meaning if you are 10 or more minutes late you have to reschedule, now at this time I probably was 10 or more minutes late because firstly the line to check in was backed up to the door and secondly no one in the dr’s office would answer the phone, so reception had to walk back to his office. That is a horrible way to run a business. I absolutely agree everyone’s time is valuable and I appreciate that, also I can’t control traffic, and for this doctor not to see me because I was 10 minutes late is very very sad !!!!

  2. 2/5Mission statements aren’t health care

I can’t seem to get timely responses when using the “ask a question, send a message “ app. Yes, I know it says use it for non- urgent issues, expect two days for response. Some offices reply same day, others 3 to a week or not at all, or the reply never answers the questions I’ve asked, (are the lawyers telling them not to say anything?) but they then say “if you have questions call”. When I call I get 10-15 minutes of duly vision statements and mission statements on hold, (not to mention all the tv displays of same mission statements all over the offices) when all I want is answers or advice from my doctor. It’s no help when you need information from your doctor but their closest appointment is two months away and the ask a question app seems a runaround, and if you miss a beep on your phone you’ve missed your waitlist opportunity. This system gives the appearance of and has potential for an improvement, but I think it does not demonstrate an improved functionality. I wonder how much money those mission and vision statements cost, and all the tvs in all the waiting rooms to display them, and maybe the money would have been better invested in hiring more nurses and doctors so they could have a few more minutes for each patient, so they can give them “health care as intended” (“as intended”? As intended by who, an insurance company or a bunch of managers?) Current system impedes communication more than facilitates it. I can’t believe that’s “as intended”.

  3. 2/5Duly Health Care and the “new” website

Since the change from DuPage Medical Group to Duly Healthcare, contact with the doctor’s office has become onerous with the central system screening all calls and wanting private information before allowing contact with the people in the doctor’s office. The email contact system is questionable because, while the email is addressed to the doctor, the screening process allows multiple people to read it. Understanding that the doctor cannot possibly answer each email sent, why isn’t there a contact list for the doctor’s nurses. Why am I receiving “Wellness Visit” solicitations from Duly in my doctor’s name when that was done in January? I am certain that my doctor is not initiating these messages. Is Duly really trying to increase revenue by asking doctor’s to provide unnecessary appointments? Why does the website no longer provide historical charts of lab results? They were available before you changed the system and were very helpful in quickly viewing changes between test results. It made patients able to assist doctor’s in their health care by having reasonable questions about trends. The Duly system has been in place for several months now and it has not improved. I am not sure if this is because of the new affiliation with North Shore instead of Edwards-Elmhurst, but I would definitely be interested in an answer to why things have downgraded since the change.

  4. 5/5Saved my life

Dr. Ahmed I first saw Dr. Ahmed for weight loss in late June 2022. Since that time I have lost approximately 90 pounds. During my first visit Dr. Ahmed asked me to take a cardiac calcification test. I was very reluctant to take the test because I had always passed my stress tests and echocardiograms with no issues. I told her my cardiologist told me my statistical chance of having a heart attack was less than 30%. Dr. Ahmed told me she was not interested in playing the odds and wanted to know EXACTLY how much plaque was in each artery. I went for the test and it’s a good thing I did. Suffice it to say the test results saved my life. My left descending artery had an 80% blockage. A cardiology heart surgeon told me later that had I had a heart attack I would not have survived. I owe my life to Dr. Ahmed.

  5. 1/5I give them only a one star

I would give them less than that if I could Went for a ultrasound of my thyroid last Thursday the. good girl that took care of me was very professional but while waiting in the large waiting room with several other patients, there were girls in the back that were on the edge of screaming. They were laughing so hard they were in an office. I don’t know what they were talking about. They were laughing till their side split. You could hear them all the way outside the front door they were so loud everybody in the waiting room was disturbed by them when I was called him back and the girl took me back. I walked past the office room that they were all in and I said something to them about being loud and it was not a laugh in TV show it’s sad that they had to hire people like this just having a guild party while they should’ve been working that was 10:20 in room 110 and Pennsylvania you four should be fired for acting like that in a professional setting
