1. 1/5Login so cumbersome

   The new app is such a pain in the rear to login. It want to take you to website to login, and then have to enter user name and password. To set up a key was even super difficult and that only allows for Face ID after it takes you to website. It’s not an improvement. Takes so much longer and is not necessary. Should be able to login to app immed with Face ID option, or even two-factor option, yet none of this is an option. For as much of a warning they told us the app was being redesigned for like 6 months, this is a major fail! Login needs to be streamlined a lot

2. 1/5Step backwards for those that use Voice Control

   I have to use Apple’s Assessability feature Voice Control due to a disability. This new version doesn't work well with Voice Control. Most Links, Buttons and Entry Fields are not assigned a number by Voice Control. You have to navigate the app by using the Show Grid command and select and navigate through multiple grids before you cam finally select the button/ link/ entry field you want to use. This is doable but very tedious and slow. The previous version was hit and miss on whether a number was assigned. Yeah there were issues with the previous version but it was much better than this rewrite.

   You have to login using the website so you may as well use the website. It can’t remember FaceID or saved devices (other than not letting you use that device name again until you delete it). It’s incredibly slow and often completely dead. The map shown when finding a provider is central RUSSIA most times despite a local provider address. Apart from that, there’s a spend tracker and some google results for keeping healthy, so it’s useless. The only good thing about this app is it doesn’t have thousands of obviously phony bot reviews boosting its rating.

4. 5/5Frustrating and Unusable

   I had high hopes for this app, but it turned out to be a complete disappointment. The biggest issue when it constantly requires me to log in. every single Time. There’s no option to stay signed in, no biometric login, and it doesn’t even remember my credentials. I have to manually enter my email and password every time I open the app, which is incredibly frustrating. The user experience is awful, and instead of making things easy, it feels like the developers went out of their way to make it inconvenient. Unless they fix this issue, I absolutely cannot recommend this app to anyone.

5. 1/5What happened to BCBSIL?

   BCBSIL used to be the gold standard for individual in group health insurance, Service was beyond reproach. Now they are as bad as Humana and United healthcare. Their EOB‘s used to be so simple and straightforward, now they don’t make any sense at allWhen you call customer service the people barely speak English, indefinitely do not comprehend what you were trying to tell them they ask you to verify dozens of times and still get it wrong period the app works about half the time and the same with the website. And when it is working there’s a ton of bad information. I am a full pay customer, not ACA. Signing up for the 16th year in a row for individual coverage, and for the third year in a row they sent me my ID card information on it. This is just an example
