1. 5/5Absolutely amazing

   I saw an ad today and thought.. I need to clean, the house is a disaster, why not try it? I was skeptical of paying the subscription, but now I’m so glad I did! When I tell you I hate cleaning, but I cleaned the ENTIRE house today… and then when I didn’t get as much appreciation as I hoped for, I chatted with the little cat bot on there, and I love it! I even mentioned I didn’t get two things cleaned, and it gave me little tips on how to clean it easily! I love this thing lol. (We’ll see if it’s still clean in a month tho)

   The idea behind the app is really good and it has really helped me stay on track with my adhd. However, the coins and diamonds you earn cannot be spent, rendering them completely useless. The Chi cat chat bot goes offline in the middle of writing back and forth with it. It always starts the conversation off by saying something about your day being so/so or bad, even if you rate your day differently. An app glitch has made my pet and the room it’s in completely disappear so the one tiny incentive of earning a gift after completing tasks is also now pointless because I can’t actually see what I earned. Entering routines is cumbersome and the auto routines get really repetitive, making it hard to stay engaged. Ive been using the app several weeks because I really do like the concept but it’s to the point that it’s simply not enough for my adhd.

3. 2/5Very disappointing for the money

   I have been using this now for a month. Several aspects have been very disappointing. For instance, one earns gems and coins, but there’s absolutely nothing you can do with them in the app. I guess you just accumulate them forever. I have confirmed with the creators that this is, in fact, the case, and that part just hasn’t been developed yet. For $40 a year, one would think they would have a complete version. Secondly, the AI cat is very rote and has a series of canned responses that don’t actually change. I’m sure there are better apps elsewhere that have more complete features that provide positive reinforcement when completing goals. In this app, I established a 28 day goal at the app’s prompting, reached the goal, and then nothing unique happened at that point. Big flop of an app, don’t bother unless you’re looking for a glorified to-do list.

4. 4/5Soft planner with a bit of personality

   The interface is calm and friendly, and the little orange cat adds warmth without being distracting. It gives the app some character and makes it feel more human. After using it for a while, I did start wanting a few more customization options for themes or fonts, but the overall design already feels comfortable and easy on the eyes.

5. 1/5Garbage. Ripoff. Do not subscribe under any circumstances.

   The app is a barely functioning ruse to get you to subscribe at which point you will discover that there is no content behind the paywall and that the app itself is full of bugs and poorly designed. I honestly think they should be banned from the Apple Store. If you reach out to their support they send you canned responses that are borderline cynical. No doubt because they are laughing at you for actually sending them money. I didn’t do that and hope I can help others from falling into that trap. The app is garbage. Avoid. I highly reccomend Finch if you are looking for a self care app that has streaks and reminders.
