1. 5/5Terrible app. Customer service at the local store not helpful

   The last 3 times I have been to Chick Fil A, Robt C Daniel Pkwy, augusya, Ga, I ordered at home from the app, then went to pick up my order. My order wasnt ready. My order wasnt even showing up on my app. Even though my card was charges. There was nowhere in the app for me to contact the store to let them know what parking spot I was in for curbside pickup. So Today I tried to call them. The first 3 times no one answered the phone. The fourth try, someone finally answered. By then it was 10:35 am and he said breakfast was over at 10:30. Even though I placed my order before 10 am. Due to app not working properly. And them not answering the phone for 10 mins, it was after 10:30 due to no fault of my own. The restaurant is closed for going inside so that was not an option. So I had to leave with no food. I went down the st to Another place. He wasnt even very apologetic. He came back out with a telephone # I could call. He had a drink in his hand ( my order, that i didn’t get, included a drink). I thought he was going to give it to me. Since I had no food or drink due to the app. But no, he was taking it to someone else. I had actually thought he might at least bring me some kind of food to make up for me not getting order due to the app. But no- nothing. Just “ call this #”. For help with the app. Not very good customer service. He didn’t even say he was sorry for the inconvenience. Very disappointed with chick fil a right now. The app has also not given me any points for any of my prior orders.

2. 5/5Chick-fil-A shines on

   I downloaded this app a couple of months ago and just as I expected it has been magnificent. Then again no one should be surprised, Chick-fil-A makes excellence it’s status quo. I would also love to point out that despite the psychotic prejudices of some politicians deluded college kids up north and out west, that America is still a free-market society. Exhibit 1 the massive success with the multi story beacon of hope smack dab right in the middle of Manhattan, Kudos to Mr Cathy and whole team for providing all potential American business owners a fantastic blueprint to use. Serve a great product with fantastic customer service, make sound financial decisions and people will form lines around your restaurant to purchase that product. For the people who disagree with Mr. Cathy‘s views on marriage, don’t purchase their product, that’s how a capitalist free-market society works. What doesn’t work is any group trying to tell another group who may or may not disagree with the first group, where they should and should not eat or shop. It’s none of your business! and frankly the more vehemently you try to tell most Americans how to behave, they’re going to tell you to take a long walk off a short pier. Or have you noticed those new restaurants in Seattle and York and Chicago and yes just like in Atlanta Georgia and Birmingham Alabama there are lines all the way around the buildings all the time. I realize that was a bit of a rant, but in closing let me reiterate that the app is great not only will you save time but you’ll get a lot of free stuff too!!

3. 5/5Lotsa Issues

   The first issue - I ordered food to be picked up curbside. After checking in with my spot number, I waited for approximately 5-7 minutes before the app notified me that my order was ready and would soon be on the way. Fifteen minutes passed but still no sign of my order. I then headed inside to get it myself (figuring they must be really busy). I waited ANOTHER ten minutes at the pickup counter, only to be told that my order was never received. I handed my phone over to the manager to show her my order, which still said that my food was on the way. She continued to insist that my order was never received, and she made no offer to prepare it for me. Although, my lunch hour was nearly over at that point and didn’t have time to wait on it anyway. I checked my back account that afternoon to see if I was charged, and sure enough I had paid for food that I never received. My second issue happened several months later at a different location. When I tried to check in with my spot and to see an associate. So, I got out of my car and walked inside once again. Then, only part of my order was handed to me. The app showed my order as I had ordered it, but the order sent to the restaurant was missing one of my meals. I checked my online account and had only been charged for one meal, despite the order on my app correctly showing I had ordered and paid for two. I didn’t want to wait around and place another order, so I just left with one meal instead of two. To summarize, I’ve been forced to go without lunch on two separate occasions (despite paying for it on one) because this app failed to accurately relay my orders. I haven’t had issues with other food apps (Starbucks, Dunkin, Subway, and so on and so forth), so this is really unacceptable.

4. 2/5Glitches and NOT environmentally friendly

   When the app isn’t glitching out, it’s okay minus the fact that they keep adding and taking away the option to customize items. That’s problematic because I don’t eat red meat so when I want a cob salad to share with someone else, I want to put the bacon on the side for them but you can’t do that because that’s not an option preset by them and now you can’t write in your customize request. Also, I would write in the customization request at the end that I did not need any utensils, napkins, or straws since you also don’t have that as an option like most other restaurant apps these days do in order to reduce on plastic waste considering, you know the whole climate crisis that we’re trying to deal with! Glitches: Now, in the past month of using this, I have had to go to the restaurant to order and get the wrong thing because I had to ask a human who thought they knew what they were doing and exactly what I wanted, but they didn’t. Where is when I enter it in the app for pick up it’s put in exactly how I want it and I don’t have to go back and complain which nobody likes to do that. This is due to some error that just says ‘sorry we’re unable to serve you at this time. Please try again later.’ I’ve tried updating the app with no fix and I have tried closing the app and going back in but it’s been happening almost every time I try to use it in the past month since the most recent update of no longer being able to write in customizations. Please fix this issue asap and pay those workers enough to care and live!

5. 5/5The Pinnacle of Fast food.

   Ive been a signature member for some time now and chick fil a has been an honor to eat at. First of all… the customer service aspect at the store i go to has consistently been amazing EVERY SINGLE TIME. There will always be a couple people that hate working there or are having a bad day BUT they still work to push the friendly demeanor that is the “pleasure” experience. Second is the food Quality. By far the best bang for your buck. They make it fresh every time. They make it hot. Its perfectly assembled almost every time! I love it. Third is the app itself. The customer service on the app is FAST! I don't complain when i go there because they get it right majority of the time. On the off chance something is messed up and its before close or something along those lines, you can submit the app request a complaint. its taken care of in less than two days (from my experience). Then they flood you with “I'm sorry” rewards. Brilliant. On top of that the point based system is pretty solid with rewards coming cheaper than most places to grind for. Thank you for your service chick fil a :) its been “my pleasure” to have you guys serve me with kindness and substantial food.

   I like Chick-Fil-A but honestly there is almost no point in ordering ahead of time, not indicating that you are at the restaurant regardless of how far ahead of time you arrive, it will NEVER be ready when you get there. I know this because ive done it dozens of times. The only thing the app does is let you skip actually standing in a line. Edit: The response by the company confirms exactly what I said, which is there is no point in ordering ahead of time, thus the app is of limited use.

   TLDR if your expecting an easy setup don't bother. This app requires your environment to be exact in order to sign in to an account. If anything isn't how it wants it you won't be able to sign in. What you need. perfect internet. no drop signals for even a sec and full bars. at least 300mbs connection. google chrome default. you change any settings from default it will fail. no vpn. the website blocks vpn usage. This isn't even half of what I needed to do in order to just login.

   I don't know why you would use this app. They don't prepare your food till you get there anyway. this spp should only be used for delivery imo. You will spend more time waiting than if you just went through the normal drive through and the scan doesn't work well and breakfast stops at 10:30 exact so you have to get it before then the app wont warn you. Crazy bad app.
