1. 1/5Very disappointed

   First time using the app and since it says Burger King I assumed that the new restaurant actually had team members that did deliveries. I ordered my food without an issue, did my modifications without an issue but when it came time for payment it did not let me review delivery charges, taxes, order total, convenience fee for using the app and then leaving a tip on top of it all. So then a $12 order becomes $19... they let me know the driver was on their way but they left the food and was gone and then notified me with a picture that they didn't knock at the door they just left it outside on the wet cement at somebody else's door. When I contacted the driver it was sorry that's where GPS led me... OK well those aren't my doors and it doesn't look like you left a full order anyways. So this went back-and-forth she never returned, Burger King's telephone number is wrong and I can leave an email with possibly being contacted within 48 hours?? No food no money. two hours later after going back-and-forth relentlessly I am only going to be issued a partial coupon!?! I don't know about anybody else but to me this driver is compared to a waitress, they should verify the order, make sure everything's there, give it to the right customer... But instead it's like dump and go because they get paid no matter what!! so I am not pleased at all and this will be the last time I use this service... pretty disappointed Burger King....

2. 3/5All these copy paste patch notes that don’t give any information

   I like the app, I get great deals on orders and that’s the reason I use fast food apps. But every other time I try to use it, it will just freeze and I’m unable to click on anything. Close and reopening doesn’t solve the problem. Only thing that works is uninstalling and reinstalling. And the app is incapable of remembering login information (McDonald’s Wendy’s subway Taco Bell all remember my login info if I need to sign in). I’d be more understanding of the issue if there were detailed patch notes but looking thru the version history they all say some goofy food related slogans describing the ease of use and bug fixes. What bugs have been fixed? How is that app easier to use? It’s almost like the developers have a pseudo update queued on a timer with a copy and paste description of that update. I don’t claim to know what goes on in app development and maintenance but I know enough to know that it’s a relatively simple fix for a freezing application. And stop being lazy and tell us what’s been fixed with each update, because you keep telling us that there’s fixes and improvements but don’t elaborate on what. Kinda sounds like nothings been fixed or improved. Currently writing this while I wait for the app to reinstall for the 4th time this year.

3. 1/5Cumbersome and somewhat useless app

   Poorly designed app. Hard to believe it could be as terrible as the company’s ad campaign, but it is. All it wants to do is force you to the nearest BK even if you have chosen one further away because all the nearby ones are in dangerous neighborhoods. Ridiculous. Then, all the app does once you force it to accept a different location is show you 200 offers to purchase the SAME THING — a Whopper meal with different toppings on each one. STOP IT! This is America, and presumably we have freedom to choose not only where we go, but what we choose to eat and how to order it. God forbid I might want to peruse the entire app, and not just use it to order something immediately. In fact, that is what most people want to do: see everything available to them on the app, and THEN decide what to order. There are avenues within the app to earn crowns besides just ordering. Trying to find them is like searching for a needle in a haystack. Difficult to get past the stupid endless list of “whoppers with different toppings” ordering options that keeps repopulating as you try to scroll past them. Monumental waste of time effort by the user. Time for BK to not only hire a new IT dept, but also a new ad agency. That current Ya Rule campaign is awful. It’s not edgy. Guy cannot sing and the ads are childishly stupid. Grow up, Burger King. Go back to your roots of tasty burgers and good service. The app has none of the latter.

4. 1/5The worst fast food app

   Many food apps are clunky, slow, nonsensically organized, and massively inconvenient, nearly defeating the purpose of using them in the first place. But the BURGER KING app checks nearly all of those boxes. It’s REAL slow, and unimaginably glitchy, regardless of which network or phone I’m on. And that’s not even mentioning the fact that this app has TAKEN money from me. This app regularly has an issue where you will place your order and it will go through yet display a loading screen. This glitch has led to me placing the same order twice within the same few seconds, which by the way, really feels like something they should not allow to happen. Additionally, I receive a discount from Walmart+ that you can apply to any order, on multiple occasions this app will display a final order price that reflects my added discount, but will then actually charge my card for more upon placing the order. This isn’t a major monetary loss, so it’s not something I’m gonna complain to anyone about, because what’s the point? But if I was a little worse off financially, I could see this being a major strain on my day-to-day life, because a lazy and/or underpaid app developer employed by a trillion dollar corporation wasn’t bothered to fix bugs that will casually take $5 or $10 from you willy nilly. This app could’ve been better put together by a 14 year old scratch game programmer. For shame.

5. 2/5Needs work both technically and practically

   This is a review that takes into account both the function of the app and the process of using the app to get food. On the surface, the app is great. Ordering is pretty easy. The deals are great. But from there forward, it’s a nightmare. The app does NOT use Apple Pay. It says it does, but it does not. And it doesn’t use facial recognition. (Yes, my app is/was up to date.) So you have to actually enter your password manually. Ugh. And once you do all that, the order still isn’t sent to the restaurant. I placed an order for multiple people and went to pick it up. I got into the drive-through, since BK does not have an option to bring it out to you. Then you have to click the button to indicate you’ve arrived. I clicked this button, the app threw an error and crashed. I tried to pick up my order, but even though it had been 15 minutes since I’d placed the order, the store didn’t have it. Furthermore, the app didn’t even remember my order, so I had to call the other people who ordered with me to get their order again. After all that, the dollar total was wrong. The BK manager told me that they “have nothing to do with the app” and they can’t give me the app prices. I encouraged the manager to act as a representative of Burger King and honor the prices, but she refused. I left and went to Wendy’s. Burger King needs to work on the payment process and also getting their franchises on board. They see BK as independent of them—some big corporation out there—and it makes for a poor brand experience.

   The app still malfunctions at the worst times during lunch hours, especially during 1PM AND on the latest updates. Delivery unavailable, Restaurants say they are closed even when open, and disabling offers when the order fails to process.

   the app sucks. had no option for pick up time, says pick up time is the time you ordered it and you have to connect with customer support to cancel it because you can't adjust the pick up time. never using it again. ill just drive there.
