  1. 5/5Honest Review/New to Crypto

Like with any other service, everyone’s mileage will vary. I used to have Time Warner/Spectrum for internet (for 7 years) and they were consistently bad-mouthed but I literally never had problems or prolonged service issues. Same goes for my experience with various restaurants, retailers, banks, etc. So take my review with a grain of salt too; only fair. I started using Coinbase but found the fees to be too high and they weren’t listing enough alt coins I was interested in accumulating. After doing some research, I switched to BinanceUS. The fees are lower, there are better alt coin options (though I will agree that the selection is severely lacking compared to Binance proper) and it’s intuitive for a new user such as myself. If I’ve ever had an issue, it was already announced on social media as I was experiencing it and resolution updates were also posted in a timely fashion; I have not been confused as to why something wasn’t working (on rare occasions there’s an issue). Now, caveats to all of this: I’m new to the app/exchange (only a month in), I still use other exchanges like Coinbase, KuCoin, etc if I am trying to find other alt coins and I’ve already developed a personal tracking method for IRS compliance and am not concerned with what/how they report as that’s my responsibility at the end of the day. This isn’t comprehensive but unless I experience something that causes me to leave them for good, assume that my thoughts/opinions still stand at the time you’re reading this.

  2. 5/5Better than Coinbase Pro

So before I tried this app months ago. I read all these horrible reviews about their Customer Service. I do think they definitely need to fix their customer service since I tried contacting them a month ago. They emailed me back stating that they're busy and I'll get back at me. Luckily it wasn't nothing serious. My five star rating is for the App itself, and not their customer service. This app is better than Coinbase Pro because it shows you in the order history how much you paid for a transaction. In Coinbase Pro all it shows you is the amount of coins you paid for, and doesn't show you the cash USD price. Which makes it more time consuming to go and figure it out. The only way you could see how much you paid for in dollars for a transaction in Coinbase Pro, is to go to their website and download your statement, time consuming when you have to make decisions fast. The other issue I had with Coinbase Pro and not with Binance US app is that when the app gets real busy and for example a coin is either crashing down, or sky rocketing up. And you want to either buy or sell. The Coinbase Pro app crashes. It happened to me three times. I couldn't even log in. It said their server was down. With Binance US I never had an issue with my transactions, even when there's high volumes of transactions going on. The app is smooth and detailed orientated. You could also see how much you paid for a purchase in USD in their history box. They also have stats and analytics on how the coins are performing throughout the day. And the best part of the app is that you could add Stop-Limits to your coins, something that is rare in Crypto Broker or exchanges. This is my top app for now. Hope Binance U.S. gets their stuff together and improves on their customer service as well. Thanks Binance U.S. Team

  3. 3/5Not a fan of the new design

I get what binance was trying to do here with adding more functionality to the advanced chart and also adding the simplified chart for more relaxed crypto investors, but the responsiveness on the new advanced chart is not the best. Trying to move it back and forth is really glitchy in responsiveness. It tries to scroll in groups amounts of time steps due to a really tough clash between scrolling left and right in the chart and scrolling up and down between the chart and order book and trade history tabs below. I personally don’t like when the chart seems embedded into the page as a window instead of really being THE page. Also once in buys/sells the ledger style is a little nicer when putting in orders since you longer have the old prompt flying up and covering the whole screen so you can see the chart, but I still want to be able to see the list of trade history orders on the blockchain (i.e., the trade history list you can see before going in to buy or sell.) I’m only able to see the order book stacks of asks and bids now with this new UI. It feels a lot like the website now and personally the website version is not exactly my favorite for placing orders… I liked the decision to be able to full screen the chart in landscape view though. This definitely needs the ability to be able to do orders on the side of the screen and see the order book stack or real time trade history table. This would be perfect as everything would be in front of you with out needing to scroll up and down to see whats happening. Landscape is where the chart and buy/sell should more resemble the website in my opinion.

  4. 3/5Almost Non existent customer service. Update

turns out I was mislead by someone else that I could use this but my state isn’t but the one star comes from not being able to delete my account what gives (Update) customer service is not very helpful rather than help me to terminate my account I got one email about terms of service dodging my request all together then sent me an email asking me how well they handled my problem. (Update part1) i was once again emailed the exact same automated response as the first time. This is a service that does not seem to care about it’s users so if you don’t know what your doing or you’re having any trouble Binance will not help you. (Final update) after spending almost a month trying to get help with issue I actually got a live text chat with customer service who was able to have a conversation with me rather than have several different people email me back at sporadic intervals. This agent was very helpful. That being said the overall customer service is still mostly garbage especially when considering that when using this time is money and the only one getting screw is use the user.

  5. 1/5Works for basics

This app has the basics like placing market, limit, and stop limit orders. It also allows you to use a few indicators but nothing more. You cannot edit the indicators or add multiple types. This is a pain since you cannot edit what moving averages one might use or how many, you are limited to three specific ones. You cannot even draw lines. I also noticed that there is no OCO order option available like there is on the website. For Binance being what it is, you wouldn’t think they would have such a basic app for advanced users. Give us more features like the desktop version (the TradingView version). I shouldn’t have to form a new trading strategy based on limited features because I am using the mobile app instead of the website. Oh yeah, it is also slow when trying to navigate through the app. I bought KNC with USDT and it ran up 10% in a few minutes but my account didn’t move much. This is because my money was USD not USDT. After I noticed this, I bought it in USD and sold my USDT. A few minutes later after it ran up more I checked my account and it was down. I looked at the orders and noticed that it all sold as USDT. What the heck Binance??? If it is USD sell it as freaking USD. If I can’t buy with both combined, I shouldn’t be able to sell them either. Nothing like paying fees for an order you never created. Shameful!
