   Please hire a UX team. This app never created boarding passes. I couldn’t make edits to my flight - e.g. seat changes, check-in fees. I was doubled charged twice for bag fees bc the app never produced a receipt of the transaction via email or stores within the app. And for whatever reason the ticketing agent at the counter in JFK couldn’t look up the transaction either. Every change had to be done through the AI chat which was always tedious.

   App is very poorly designed. Tried to check-in my return flight from JFK to Vienna via Zurich. App required me to enter an entry document for Switzerland. The only options are: Visa / Residence permit / I have no other documents. I have a EU passport and am therefore allowed to enter Switzerland. However, indicating that you have an EU passport is not an option. My passport info was already in the system since it was a return flight! The app still asked me to check in at the airport. What's the point of the app?Austrian should ask your money back from whoever designed this app.

   Austrian Airlines has truly set the bar high for quality service and seamless travel. I am beyond thrilled that they offer a direct flight from Vienna to Boston—this route is a game-changer for those of us who regularly travel between Europe and the East Coast of the United States. From the moment you step on board, the Austrian Airlines crew is friendly, attentive, and committed to making the flight as comfortable as possible. The seats are spacious, and the onboard entertainment options are extensive, making it easy to relax and unwind during the journey. Their in-flight meals also deserve a special mention; Austrian Airlines has taken great care to provide a delicious and varied menu that reflects the culinary excellence Austria is known for. Having a direct flight from Vienna to Boston not only saves me time but also makes travel so much more convenient. I can arrive refreshed, without the hassle of layovers. I am incredibly grateful to Austrian Airlines for making this route available and for their dedication to delivering such a high-quality experience. It’s a fantastic feeling to know I can rely on them for a smooth, enjoyable journey every time!

4. 2/5Vague error while Managing Booking

   Obviously a rebranded Lufthansa Airlines app. (They are part of the Lufthansa Group after all) Attempted to add my Passport, Green Card and Known Traveller Number via Manage Booking prior to check-in. Initially it complained about missing a Date of Birth field. Turns out you have to complete the Date of Birth field *before* enabling the Advanced Document Details otherwise it complains that the date of birth hasn’t been filled in. Then you fill out your Passport and attempt to add your Green Card and Known Traveler Number documents BUT results in “ 2 errors Please check the information below: Sorry, this flexibility is not supported. Please refine your search criteria. Sorry, something went wrong. If the problem persists please contact our service center for more information.” After check-in had opened, I was able to upload my documents and check-in via the Lufthansa Airlines app! Use the patent company’s app - I recommend giving this rebranded app a miss.

5. 1/5Very surprised this app has such high ratings

   A complete nightmare to check in, after hours of attempts. The chat assist is very buggy with help, especially when you’re requesting for a direct phone contact. Call service couldn’t fix the issue, nor didn’t know what the issue was. I had to check in at the front desk. Front desk customer service was a completely different story, in a negative way.

   Poor, most of the application feature including registration send to online site which is a bug nest and throw error at almost every page. When finally successful in the process a validation link is sent to the mail but shows as expired when used 30s later... Barely usable.

   Checked-in twice via the app and got a successful check-in confirmation but no boarding pass is veing issued. really annoying that you have to be at the airport earlier just to get the boarding pass. Even the crappiest airlines manage to get online check-in to work properly but not Austrian. obviously there is no information and no easy support to reach in time. just avoid this airline if you can
