4/5Fast, convenient and useful
I love this app. I usually use it to check the ticket price and my mileage information. The only down side is the booking information will not export to iOS calendar. It will be even better if user can export booking information into iOS or Google calendar. Also I hope it can add the Star alliance reward ticket searching engine on the website and this app.

1/5Inconvenient check-in
I give this rather to the airline itself. When I did seat selection before check-in, I have chosen one seat at one segment then the website crashed and I must’ve re-login again. Then I was told that I am unable to choose seats on remaining segments due to that was not connected to my account. I could not find the way how to add this trip to my Asiana account though. Then, when I tried to check in online before the flight, they allowed check in and select seat at CTS-ICN segment, but not on ICN-TPW segment for documentation check reason, ok, but at least let me choose the seat on that segment? No, even that wasn’t available. Very poor handling of a simple action as sear selection, never fly them again, fly EVA Air instead.

Completely broken and impossible to check in or get boarding pass. I should clarify that it just keeps sending me an endless check-in loops, over and over and over again. It tells me to check in so I press the check-in button, and then it says that I’m already checked in. It refuses to show me a boarding pass let me print a boarding pass or add one to my mobile wallet. It says I can’t do this because this is only allowed if I’m at an airport that doesn’t take a mobile boarding pass. A boarding pass is exactly what I want. This thing is so completely broken I don’t understand how it has any good ratings.

1/5As horrible as the Airlines...
The AsianaAirlines APP is just as horrible as the AsianaAirlines website. So you might as well book on their website. Just to list A FEW problems with this App: 1) It would not let me log on with my account name even though I could log on to my account perfectly fine on their website. (The Airlines forces you to have an account too make a booking) 2) After trying for an hour, I was finally able to log in with a membership number, but STILL not my Account ID number. Again, my account ID could be used on their website but not in this App 3) Does not save companion passenger information when trying to place a booking. I had four passengers and had to re-enter their information from scratch EACH time the booking failed!!!!! I ended up re-entering 6 times! HOW STUPID IS THAT?!?!?! (See #4) 4) Booking kept on failing due to the App refreshing itself!!! One second I would be entering information, then I would be taken back to the starting page to pick my date/destination and forced to start all over! In total, I was forced to make 6 booking attempts, so take a guess how many times the App refreshed me... 5) Does not save booking attempt in history which would have at least saved some time regarding itinerary selection. The App does have a history section showing successful bookings, but it does not show failed or canceled bookings. So the App can’t even remember simple date and destinations that you’ve tried?! Pathetic. 6) App does not release your failed booking attempt immediately. Which means that the tickets and seats are shown as sold out. You have to wait 10-15 minutes for them to release the seats until you can book again. Note: This did not happen on their website. 6) App is a complete waste of time for the above reasons. I ended up wasting three(3) hours of my life, making six(6) attempts to re-enter ALL travel and passport information for 4 passengers. Stay away from this App and AsianaAirlines!

Took a while to purchase my ticket. Also wouldn’t let me use my parents credit card to make purchase since they were paying for my trip as a gift. I kept getting circled back to the main page if I accidentally selected the wrong button and when using a coupon it wasn’t always saving and I would have to reselect the coupon before purchase. It was several hours before I could complete the purchase.
