   This was my first time using the app, and initially I felt a bit hesitant because of some of the feedback I had seen. Additionally, since I was using it for international travel, I was unsure how reliable and convenient it would be. However, my experience with the Cathay Pacific app turned out to be very positive. The app was extremely convenient and user-friendly throughout my international trip. I was able to easily access my flight information, manage my booking, and stay updated with any important notifications. Everything was clearly organized, which made navigating the app simple and efficient. One feature I particularly appreciated was having all of my travel information in one place. Boarding passes, flight updates, and trip details were readily available, which made the travel process much smoother and less stressful. I also did not encounter any technical issues while using the app internationally, which made the experience even more reliable. Overall, the Cathay Pacific app exceeded my expectations. It proved to be a dependable and efficient tool for managing international travel, and I would confidently recommend it to other travelers looking for a convenient way to organize their trips.

2. 5/5Bangkok Bliss

   My first time traveling on Cathay Pacific . And my first time flying over 21hrs with an airline ..I flew economy and was pleasantly surprised as well as grateful for the additional comfort amenities inclusive in my ticket price point ..Service was outstanding as was the attention to detail the was given to the guest in my cabin area ..If you want to be treated like a first class passenger but need to stay at a price point relative to your comfort level , I only suggest Cathay Pacific Airlines …

3. 1/5The DISHONEST Airline

   Cathay Pacific left several of passengers’ luggage behind and treated it like it was just a minor inconvenience. It felt like a decision they made before the flight, because when we landed there were staff with a small booth ready to manage frustrated passengers and collect information. My connecting flight was only a couple of hours later to an island outside the main city, requiring additional travel. I was told my luggage would arrive on the next flight which is the following day. I was given the option to continue without my bags and have them shipped, but because this destination is far from the main metropolitan area, it could take up to a couple of days to a week for the luggage to arrive depending on the shipping company, which is the entire length of my vacation. I chose to stay and wait for the next flight with the luggage. That decision forced me to book a hotel and later purchase a new connecting flight out of pocket to continue my trip. At the airport, staff were apologetic and assured us that reasonable expenses would be covered. After submitting receipts and filing a claim, Cathay Pacific refused to reimburse anything. No hotel. No rebooked flight. Nothing. I guess they expect you to sleep at the airport. Do not assume this airline will take responsibility if something goes wrong. If your trip matters to you, will not book with Cathay Pacific. I will never fly with them again.

4. 1/5Worst customer service ever

   Cathay Pacifica just neglected their customer’s basic rights and lies to the customers. Communicating with them is a disaster and a total waste of your time because you can never get an answer from them. I requested a trip cancellation from Cathay Pacifica this early July. However, I didn’t receive my partial refund until I called them in August. It turns out that the refund number is not correct at all. Over the last two months, I contacted them for 6 times and each time it takes me almost an hour over the phone. Their responses were always something like we would call or email you back within 48 hours which are totally lies. They never reached back to me to explain the incorrect refund at all! You can’t trust their words. In other ways, they don’t respect customers at all!

5. 1/5Failure to match passport

   The app should have software that matches the passport name to the ticketed name. The use of Nicknames like the common Bob for Robert or Bill for William results in a rejection at the airport checking in. After failing to match names and a cancelled flight, Cathy demonstrates terrible customer service by charging a fee to cancel and a higher cost for the same ticket as a same day booking. With your valued standing in the airport you forced me to pay to fly. Had your software worked this never would have happened. I have filed a complaint so let’s see if you fix it or behave like bandits like crooks robbing your own customers. If not fixed it must be widely communicated on social media to avoid flying Cathy because you will definitely not arrive in better shape !
