5/5Great Program, missing feature
Greetings, I guess this is a 4.8 star program for me. It’s amazing in so many ways!! I love the open tableau and freedom to color without numbers or a predetermined color palette. You can select your own and even only use the most recent colors, so when you move the dial to change the shade, you don’t have to remember where it was on the line, just go to recently used colors. Wishes: the program would be better if you could use Freehand or Advanced to color ON TOP of the lines rather than just over them. There’s a picture of a girl with freckles... I can’t get rid of the freckles. I can highlight them, I can color match them, but I can’t erase them or change the color of the tiny black freckles dotting a large swath of area under each eye. I would also like for the blank tableau to have object recognition for the full function. If I draw a circle, I would like for the fill function to be useable to fill in the circle I just drew. That would be nice on the regular pictures too. It would make creating scenery easier. But back to the 4.8 rating. I LOVE the free brushes and Greatly appreciate that oil is one of the default brushes along with blend. I love the amount of tweaking you can do to brush size and opacity. I Love the fill function features especially the one where you can make little blurry bubbles. I love the amount of freedom mixed with structure that allows me to look like I know how to paint 😁

5/5The ONLY real coloring app!!
I have been a long-time Pigment Premium user, since 2015. I have seen many different additions through the years and this app beats EVERY other coloring app out there. One of the others actually let you color and use your own brain. The other are basically tap and fill. I was never a good artist, but I have learned so much from this app and the Pigment Community. I think the gallery is so much a part of the whole experience. I read Reese other reviews where people complain about pre I’m not worth it and not enough to color. Well they never really took a minute and explored the gallery and the pigment users who are a HUGE part of the gallery. Because in addition to Pigments books, you can also select from the gallery any of those you wish to color. And that makes it so much more! So for all those that complain that it’s not worth the money every month, than you are probably ones who think it’s ok to get away with the cheapest thing. Pigment has a great community not to mention all the staff who work on this app are fantastic! They need to get paid and take care of their families as well, they cannot work for free. And their customer service is number 1 in my book. As well as all their tutorials. They are worth every cent! Thanks Pigment for the last 5 years and for just as many more!

4/5Almost perfect
This was one of the best app purchases I have ever made. It rekindled my interest in creating art. One feature that would just make it perfect would be reordering the colors when creating pallets. I do a lot of gradients so being able to reorder dark to light or light to dark would make it more convenient. I sometimes tweak the colors and delete old ones I won’t be using and to order them I have to go back through recent colors. This is hard when the colors used had effects such as glitter since 5e effect changes 5e color a little. A way to drag and drop colors in custom pallets would solve this. Update: I do this a lot. Think of suggestions long after posting a review. Another thought I had would be more control over the workspace. I find myself switching to the blur and blend tools quite often and having to scroll through the brush list to switch back over and over can break my flow. Being able to create shortcut spots and relying less on drop down would be fantastic. Also every time you switch tools a little dialogue box appears (and lingers) saying things like “drag to blur” and it appears smack in the middle of the screen. Often where I was working. I don’t need the instructions every single time and I have to wait for it to disappear before continuing to work. As someone with ADHD this is super frustrating. It’s just long enough for me to lose the exact thought I had that would have been my next brush stroke. Not to mention if I’m creating an effect that requires rapid tool switching it completely details the process.

5/5Best coloring App
I have been using this app for almost 2 years. I was paying monthly but ended up getting a year membership. I used to get upset that many people used the app for free. Then I just got over it by suggesting that freebie users should stop who got whining and be glad I paid for them to use the app for free. I thought it was stupid and just got over it. There is one thing that you just have to get over. Don’t let others judge you. When I started on Pigment, it was about art. Then someone, no names decided to comment on every image. In return, the person got several likes. I didn’t know how this person was able to comment on every post. Then it dawned on me. Copy and paste. That is how it was being done. I don’t have time for that plus it is not a comprehensive critique. Never say anything rude, that is just mean. I used to get frustrated that my number of likes had gone down since these copy and pasters came into play. Forget about likes. Do this for fun. There are so many great options for coloring. Tons of images, you can buy coloring pages on Etsy, even pictures you take. Plus blank pages to color The tools are gréât. Customer Service is a absolutely wonderful. After an upgrade, another tool went out of whack and customer service was able to fix in less than a week. One thing I want to say, if you like the trial, pay for the app. You will have all the tools and features. It benefits all paying members. Non paying members do not have all the features. The more paying members the better the app gets. You definitely will not find a better coloring app. Plus it is super user friendly.

3/5My favorite so far, here’s why 😊👍🏻
This will hit whatever box you’re in, for example, if you’re an artist it gives you the ability to create, relax, gives ideas and has plenty of pallets or you can make your own. If you want to just relax it has so many ways to do that, I use this app quite a bit for biofeedback, and use mandalas or patterns. There are tutorials if you want to learn, and if you are social you can get that here. If you don’t want to subscribe then it has great dailies. If you do subscribe it is less expensive then the one I was on, even though it was a good app, this is better. Lastly, the customer service is exceptional! They actually care. That’s pretty big right there. Love this app!!!❤️ PS I want to put an addendum to the customer service part. A couple years ago they seemed to have ONE guy that got back to me regularly because I did a beta test for them because my boxes kept blacking out, and I’m not sure if he quit, but I can’t get a response from customer service at all! I mean, NEVER. I’ve emailed them multiple times, I even tried instagram, but to no avail. So I still use this app but I’m really really disappointed in the customer support. It’s non existent. Another addendum: customer service finally got back to me, however … It took over a year, and I’m on beta testing again, but, it did take doing all the things I mentioned above. I understand that email can go to spam, but not for over a year. Sorry, can’t change this review, it’s a fact. I do love this app, and hopefully it will create change.
