1. 3/5Add Size & Fit details!!

   I have adored Abercrombie, from my teenage years into full blown adulthood (20+ years). Aside from the horrendous customer service I received recently, That being said, I probably spend at least 2-3 hours a day browsing the app. I most appreciate having the ability to compare size & fit details of the clothing (I.e., leg opening of wide leg linen pants, 22 inches VS leg opening of Ultra wide leg linen pants, 27 inches, and inseam). Unfortunately the size & fit feature has been made available only online, outside the app. So I spend a lot of time going back and fourth from the app to the website on safari so that I can view the sizing details. This has become very frustrating. Please, please, please, update your app so that the size and fit details are shown like they do on your desktop website. Toggling back & forth between the app and website is getting old.

   I have never had a bad issue with the app - aside from sizes constantly being sold out and not being able to select your specific size you’d like to save if it is sold out - until yesterday. I noticed two items in my cart that were not put there by me. They were men’s items - I have never bought men’s items from Abercrombie. I had also made purchases earlier in the day so my cart should have been empty. I deleted the items and then later on realized how weird it was, so needless to say I started to freak out a bit. I contacted A&F who said they have “never heard of this happening” and suggested I change my password. Lo-and-behold, after checking my settings on my phone and going into “passwords”, the first password on there was from the A&F app saying there had been a data leak and my info was included in it. No notice from Abercrombie about this prior. My personal info - including name (required), birthday, address, preferred store, phone number (required), past orders, and CC info - was in this app. I feel completely violated and am unsure how this happened without Abercrombie knowing…seems like their security clearly isn’t great. I have usually had no issues with them, but after this I am pretty upset. I know these things can happen, but they really shouldn’t and a little heads up from Abercrombie should’ve been provided immediately.

3. 3/5Keeps deleting my favorites !!!

   This app works like most other retails apps. Check out is easy and maintains records of my rewards. Most of my clothes and my children’s clothes are from A&F. However this is the 3rd time this month the app just wipes out my favorites. It happens typically on occasion every few months but this time it’s happened multiple times just in the last few weeks. It takes days for them to come back up (few times they are gone forever) and it’s how I (as most customers) keep an eye out for sales. It’s so annoying! Please be aware that if you log in to your account on the same device (ie Safari or Chrome), when you go back to the app, it has logged you out. Not a huge deal just an inconvenience. I do that whenever the app is lagging or my favs are gone and when I come back I have to log in again. Every time. Update it’s been 3 weeks since my review and I’ve lost my favorites twice more since then. How hard is it to fix this Abercrombie?! Sooo annoying!

4. 2/5Don’t Bother, Not User Friendly

   If this app was a high school student, I would give it an F.. It is in desperate need updates to improve the user interface. Among the list of many problems: Your saved items are constantly being erased, the back button only takes you to the “home page” (which is different than the “shop” page and therefore, useless), needs better filters when shopping (they only offer size & color mostly), when items are in your cart you can’t view the product information (can only edit size or color), writing reviews section never updates or registers correctly, starting to question my points history, & worst of all- no system in place to notify you for back in stock items!! I’ve been able to buy merchandise, only to be emailed a few days later saying it’s out of stock.. & I could keep going but I digress.. I love Abercrombie but this app is not it. PLZ PLZ make changes ASAP!!

5. 5/5Best options for tall girls

   A&F is my fav!! Seriously my go-to. It is SO hard for me to find bottoms that fit (I’m 5’7” and a 23) and I’m so grateful that Abercrombie legitimately offers inclusive sizing. Their jeans are also excellent quality for the price— like crazy good. Their skirts are IMPOSSIBLE to beat. Like perfect length, tight enough in the waist and I LOVE that they are all super mini and have built in shorts so you don’t feel uncomfy wearing them. I will say lately some of their styles are a little questionable, like a few years ago things were more trendy/classy/hot and these days a decent amount of things are leaning a little cheap looking (not quality but like the style is a little odd). Not sure if they changed creative directors. Also now sometimes their jeans are only offered in 24 (not 23) I hope these are just one offs! Still love the brand just the same though. :)
