   I am a Zack’s client and subscribe to most of its services. They are usually accurate, informative and well written. Zack’s is a Five Star Company The App? A very different story. In fairness, I live where internet service is not always good, but similar apps, such as Yahoo Finance, simply Wall Street. Tip Ranks and several brokerage apps and charting apps all manage to deliver with the same internet. The problems are, in no particular order, 1, Slow. If you change sections of the program, you spend several minutes watching the clock icon. If you try to get information on a stock, that can take so long as to make the app unusable. 2.Unstable. I subscribe to all their services, but I frequently get a notice that I must subscribe in order to see a section. If I log into Zack’s website, I never have these problems. It is reliable and faster than my internet service. Thus, the problems are with this app. As an additional observation, Zack’s has a screening program that blows everything else I’ve tried completely out of the water. It is a paid service, and has a learning curve, but worth every second and dollar spent. Having access to it with perhaps another, more functional app would be an industry leading attraction. IN SUMMARY: If you are a Zack’s subscriber, forget this app and use the website.

2. 5/5Zacks is best tool for newest investors

   Zacks is best tool for newest investors, I don’t claim to be an expert but in 2 years I went from beginner to serious investor. I wouldn’t have had a clue what to look for and on top of several big picks I made using their tools. I’m not saying do every pick they make but they have a clear stance that earnings beat is the biggest money mover. Knowing they are focused on earnings helps you understand why they are making certain suggestions for earnings season craziness. The Top Ten List is killer plus the Home Run Portfolio guy who also does stocks under 10, he’s the dude. Worth paying 50$ for that guys picks period.

3. 5/5Review of Zacks

   I have used your Zack program for many years. Used it probably for 8 or more years. Love the program, keeps me up to date on my stocks and possible new ones to buy! Keep up the good work. Only problem now is sometimes I can use some of your features and then I have to stop and go find my login. Not sure why I cannot just continue on to all info. Since I do have an account. Excellent work and program except for the above. Love your program.

4. 1/5Misleading please read (from a longtime subscriber)

   Interestingly the date and time for the Zack’sServices in the Zacks app alert commentary especially for Stocks under $10, Tech Innovators, Value Investor, Home Run, Black Box and most other services is ALWAYS about a full 4-5 minutes BEFORE the app issues a notification. That in itself is not the problem. The big problem is that if you look at the daily graph of the stocks being bought, they start ‘jumping’ up at the time that is shown at the top of the alert commentary in the app. However this commentary CANNOT even be seen in the app until only 4-5 minutes later. Bottom line is that either some priority subscribers or some fraudulent insiders are getting access to the alert 4-5 minutes before the app even gives a notification. Something is not right !! It’s very easy to verify so please do something about it.

   I’m a huge fan of Zacks, I use their website all the time and it’s a great one-stop shop for investment data. This app has almost none of the things that makes the Zacks website useful. You can’t read the analyst research reports (arguably the best thing about Zacks) on the app, you can’t pull up the company’s financials, it doesn’t even show some of the most basic information about a company such as the market cap or next earnings date. There is only one chart for each company, which only shows a zoomed-out 5-year view of the price, is tiny, and isn’t useful to see recent price trends. One of the only things you can do on the app is read news (that’s why it’s worth one single star) or look at the Zacks #1 rank list, but again, without being able to see basic information like the market cap or the analyst research reports for the companies in the list, it basically just ends up being a random list of tickers and scores, which don’t mean much to an investor on their own. There’s a lot more work to be done on the app before it’s useful. Many of the links on the app simply open up Zacks on the web, as if the app itself is admitting that it’s useless and you might as well be using the proper website.
