1. 5/5The ONLY app the always works + gives me everything

   I have used this WOW for years. Not only is it just a reliable app and source for entertainment but especially knowledge. As a woman who is Sis who has always fought for the community it has taught my husband who is Mexican American raised in a more “Hood” mentality to not only let go of some of the things that you are taught as a Hispanic man that, it is so important to realize how being yourself is the most important thing you can not only do but achieve to change this world. Not you for yourself but anyone you meet. Drag has been my life. As a woman I know and was taught by my grandmother no matter how you’re born live in your truth. Let you’re Uniqueness, Nerve, Talent and Charisma always shine. Thank you to RuPaul, the Queens, Judges, and production. Thank you for giving this amazing platform. My beautiful intelligent Daughter, who is flooded with every Quality is so inspired this beautiful colorful world. Thank you for being able to help me show the beautiful world and the unconditional love that you portray.

2. 3/5Love the content. Hate the app!

   I love having access to all of the contact that is on Wow. I’m a huge fan of RuPaul’s Drag Race and of many queens, so I enjoy being able to watch them. However, the app has a lot of limitations and it can get really frustrating. One of my biggest pet peeves is that stuff will not clear out of your resume playing list and there’s no way to clear them whatsoever. You can sign out of the app, delete the app, turn off your VPN, disable ad blockers, fast forward to the end of the video to even get the next one to play, you can do this all the way through an entire season or through even an entire show’s multiple seasons, and they will STILL not drop out of your resume playing list!! If you’ve watched one episode on one device and go to watch it on a different device the app doesn’t seem to recognize that and you have to figure out where you left off. If the app recommends a new episode or a new series to watch, and you go to watch an episode, this is when it would be helpful for it to remain in your resume playing list, but it doesn’t do that and you have to go play search and find for the series. The app is extremely archaic and just a couple of adjustments would really help customer satisfaction.

   I had this app for a couple years now. I have it on both my phone and on my tv. I’ve never had any issues with connectivity or disconnectivity. They have all the foreign drag race which is honestly kind of better than the US version. I highly recommend DR Holland because Fred is amazing and you can tell he loves what he does. The host/s of DR España and Thailand are wonderful as well. UK and Canada the casts are on point. I mean mostly all the casts are amazing on all versions of drag race. Also I love the wow present + shows. They feature a lot of the queens. I love Priyanka’s show, rock m sacura, the uk queens shows, and drag tots. They definitely are putting out more content faster but the quality of the content is still there. I highly recommend for the price!

4. 1/5Great content, but absolutely horrible UI

   I love the content. Having so many different versions of Drag Race available is amazing. But the UI (on both the Apple TV, which is where I do the vast majority of my watching, and on iPad) is unimaginably horrible. One huge problem is there’s no Continue Watching feature on the home page like you would find on Netflix, for example, so there’s no easy way to start watching the next episode of a series you’re in the middle of watching. In the Apple TV app, for example, in order to start watching the next episode, first I have to navigate to the Library page, then I have to look for the show in the list of shows I’ve added to My List, then once I’ve brought up the show I still have to navigate to the correct season and then to the correct episode that I want to start watching! (Pressing the Start Watching button once you bring up a show just starts playing the first episode of the most recent season, not the next unwatched episode in the series.) There is a Resume section, but this seems to only be for episodes that you’re in the middle of watching, and episodes will stay in that list forever! So if you started watching an episode of something and decided to stop watching it, that episode will stay in the Resume list forever. Another problem is that sometimes you finish watching an episode but the app thinks you stopped watching in the middle and so that episode gets stuck in the Resume section and you can’t get it out of there even if you pick up the episode from that point and play all the way through it again. I’ve held off on writing this review for a long time in hopes that the UI would be improved, but I can’t ignore this any longer. There really is no excuse to have such an awful UI, and it really needs to be fixed.

5. 2/5Great content but terrible service

   I used to be subscribed months ago without any issues, but I had to unsubscribe because I couldn’t afford to be paying for it anymore. Well, recently I got a job and I decided I wanted to resubscribe. But it has been incredibly difficult to do so for some reason. In the app all it said when I went to manage subscription was to visit my account settings on the web. So I tried to do just that, but for some reason my card kept declining, even though I knew I had enough funds and I double checked that I entered my card information correctly. I contacted my bank and confirmed it wasn’t an issue on their end. After much frustration and several email exchanges later, I finally managed to figure out how to subscribe again. But now I still can’t access the content that I paid for. When I go to play an episode it just won’t play. It’s as if I still wasn’t subscribed. At this point I would rather just unsubscribe again and never use this service again. There’s a lot of potential but my experience so far has been terrible, hence the two star rating.
