5/5Great workout experience
I’m in my mid 40s and there was a time when I did workout videos a lot. Now I walk the neighborhood with friends for “exercise” and work in intermediate fasting when I can to lose a few pounds here and there. But I’ve started to feel like age is making every little bit of life more difficult and was looking for something that would give me my range of motion back. This fits the bill perfectly. I love the morning stretching and the 24x7 challenges. I’m on day 7 for the abs, thigh, arms, booty and even started the facial exercises yesterday! I immediately felt the benefits of the 24x7 challenges. My waistline looks much better and I feel more toned and my chronic arm pain has nearly disappeared. I can easily put heavy dishes away. I downloaded several apps, and one very popular one had so many videos that I wasn’t even sure where to start. I like that this one gives you an option of animated coach, female coach and male coach for each exercise. I came for the animated coach but decided to use the female coach. The coaches don’t speak, but there is another instructor voice over that counts the exercises and gives helpful hints about how to perform the moves. They also keep a list of your recent videos so after I did the circuit in the order I want to do them in, I head there each morning and do them again. The challenges tell you what day you are on and I love that. They even have one for doing the splits! I am not at all flexible so I’m curious to try that, but I’m going to save it for when I’m done with the other challenge, I think. Im keeping the annual subscription and am very excited to work through the videos and hope they regularly add more. At $59 a year, it works for me.

3/5Human VoiceOver + Animation
I use this app every other day for working out on my body mainly for shape and confidence. I’ve been keeping up on doing it consistently and I am optimistic about the end result. I do wish there were more food options that span over breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I do understand eating healthy, but I do want my food to be enjoyable as well and proper for the time of day. I’ve been using this app for nearly a month now and I just think there should be newer demonstrations rather than animations. Animations are fine, but seeing an actual person do the work out I’m supposed to copy is more easier to understand. Also, whenever it is an animation coach, you can’t even see what exercises are listed when you press on any of the categories, so I don’t know what I’m signing up for. The voices are AI, and I understand them well, but if they are going to be saying the same exercises and explaining the same thing over snd over again, wouldn’t it be better to have a person be able to record their voice saying it?They do get the point across, though, I wish it were more detailed rather than a countdown, what you’re doing for how long, and how to breathe, I wanna know if theres any mistakes or proper posture or burn I’m supposed to feel. Only some of them mention the burn, and occasionally there’d be more challenging options on certain exercise’s. The only voice that sounds smooth or human-ish is the english male voice. The others are so robotic and I just can’t stand it.

5/5BEST WORKOUT APP
I’m 10 years old, and I’m not really happy w my body. I will look in the mirror and say “Why am I so fat?” So I went looking for a workout app, bc I knew I didn’t have what it took to quit eating junk food. So I downloaded like 3 apps, and all of them cost money or were just really glitchy. I deleted them. Then, I stumbled across THIS app, which I when I saw it I thought “Oh, this isn’t gonna work, I just know it”. But I read the description and looked at the photos anyways, and then I realized how legit it looked and sounded, so I downloaded it. It downloaded, I filled out the info, blah blah blah. I chose the “Full Body” workout and started working out. Surprisingly, it was fun. I broke a light sweat, and challenged myself. I took water breaks. Once I finished, I had burned 187 calories, workout out for 8mins, and did 18 exercises. Now I have been doing it for 4 days, and have been feeling better about myself. It’s actually fun. It actually works. I can run without being so out of breath now. I can stretch without pulling a muscle now. All bc of THIS app. Download now if you want a free, fun, and fr exercise app. I’m not getting paid to make a good review. It really works.

5/5Straightforward app
So many fitness/health apps hide behind a huge intro and marketing spiel, but this one is just beautifully designed. I haven’t started using it, yet, but paid for the annual subscription. I’m not sure why others have said it was free (maybe the trial), but the cost is affordable and much less than what a lot of other apps ask for, especially for what is offered. There are hundreds of workouts (dozens of programs, each with a progressive schedule of workouts). There is a good variety, and all are workouts you can start immediately at home, with no equipment. The demos are animated (the art is great), and it’s just generally a very visually appealing and clean app. There’s no feeling of being overwhelmed by the amount of recipes and workouts because your plan is very clearly at the top of the screen, but there’s plenty of flexibility, too. Overall, I’m very happy and looking forward to using it. Update: I’ve been using for a couple months now (workouts), but I just got started on the recipes, and I love them so much! The ingredients are affordable, using a lot of stuff I already have, plus incorporating healthy & seasonal fare. They’re unique and delicious. I haven’t had any trouble at all locating Ingredients at my regular markets. And, most importantly, I feel full on much fewer calories. So much better than trying to work out a meal plan on my own. Plus, it’s flexible - I can adjust amounts easily to feed family if needed, and have a calorie budget for snacks. I plan on skipping new meals as needed, though, to use up leftover ingredients. The recipes are easy for a moderately experienced cook, and the directions are adequate. I’m thankful that it’s minimal and not too overdone. I can follow the recipes without too much prep or thought.

5/5Cheaper than a gym membership
I have only used the app for 2 days. Which in my opinion is a little early to rate it, but I’m tired of seeing ratings complaining that you have to pay for it. Almost all apps saying in app purchases is going to make you pay for a subscription. If you want free workouts search the internet. It’s cheaper than a gym membership so what are you all complaining about. From what I can tell they have put a lot of thought into premium version. I like that I just click on the day and it tells me what workouts to do. I don’t have to think about anything. I also like that after you complete a workout, you can rate if a workout was too hard, too easy, or just right. I’m hoping that means they update your personal training plan based on your rating of the workout. It’s also great that you can choose no equipment option so you don’t have buy a bunch of equipment or join a gym. Just try it, you might realize it’s worth it. Only complaint would be I can’t find away to adjust original settings of my goals.
