   Recently, I create a website using my iPad Safari browser. Logically, you would think, “Hey, I could continue to edit the site via an iPad.” But you can not. I do not understand, the fact I can create a Wix website with iPad, yet can not edit my website, now published, on my iPad. I’m by no way extremely tech savvy. But, this has nothing to do with my savy-ness. I see the auto response “I must use a desktop or laptop” or I can use the “Wix mobile owner app” to edit. There is not an option currently to do so via Wix Mobile Owner app. Mixed messages. Fix. Why did I not get this before I created a website through Wix? I probably would have not used your company. I own just an iPad. Purposefully. Neither can I afford a laptop or desktop. Just iPad works with my budget. In order for me to edit my site, I must go to a public library to use a computer station. Ugh😫 I left Square because they were not handling well, at all, their transition into one company(Weebly & Square). The lack of knowledge navigating customers was less than helpful. Horrible. Now, I have purchased a Premium website with Wix. I heard great things about Wix. So, I was excited. Not so much anymore.

2. 3/5Calendar needs work

   For as long as I’ve had this app, using the calendar within the app has been impossible. The app crashes every time I try to look at a week or more ahead so it’s difficult to block windows of time unless I just go through my icalendar to block those windows of time. It worked great for me until about three months ago when the calendars stopped syncing. I went online to resync the calendars, and now I have a few ongoing appointments that are showing up as doubled in my icalendar, some appointments aren’t showing at all in icalendar, and as of the last few weeks the blocked windows of time on icalendar aren’t showing up as blocked online so my clients are double booking. It’s quite frustrating because the issues are inconsistent. Some appointments are synced, some are not, some things are working, some are not… I love the app for managing my business but the calendar not working is making me want to switch back to Square Booking. I NEVER had a single issue with square’s appointment app and it was FREE. Wix needs to step up.

3. 3/5Please Stop Messing Up This App

   Just curious but why do you guys key changing features that were fine before? If it ain’t broke don’t fix it! For example when I’m in the messaging part of the app when I use to hit the phone icon it would just call the customer back now it says to save as contact?? If I wanted you save it as a contact then I would hit the 3 icons right beside it! Now you’ve made it even more inconvenient to have to go back to the Home Screen and then click on calls and then missed calls then call again. I mean cmon guys really?? I use this app exclusively for my business and calling customers is a must if I miss the call I should be able to just hit the call button like I could before and call them back. Please for love of god change this back! Also your app is very glitchy at times and sometimes won’t even open. This is very frustrating when trying to run my junk removal business and I can’t even get into the app to see where my customers lives. I think you guys should try to make this app easier to use for people like myself who pay you a lot of money every month to run my business. Why does it take like 3 days to get my money from you guys also? Everyone else has instant pay outs and charges a small fee for that. Let’s get with the now guys because the competition is way ahead of these outdated apps you guys use. Rant over.

4. 3/5What a hassle for beginners.

   You can’t do anything important from the app. Also, I just completed hours of work that took me forever to figure out and it deleted everything I did. Tried to talk to customer service and I got gas lit with a Superhero syndrome. Obviously I went to the site history once I figured out where that was. It didn’t show any work I had done today but it saved the background photo I put in earlier this evening. It showed I worked on it yesterday morning, which is incorrect because I’ve periodically worked on it all day. It’s supposed to be user friendly and it’s not. Customer service was impossible to get ahold of and not helpful. Disappointed this is my domain for a year and that I have to redo everything I’d been working on when I’m in a time crunch, no idea what I’m doing but fairly resourceful and stressed. Such a bummer it can’t be restored. Update:After more hours of staring and redoing everything I did find a save button. Save it all. Do it all the time. It’s not easy but very time consuming and detail oriented. Lots of “undo” over here.

5. 1/5Removing Fax Has Destroyed My Business

   Why would Wix Restaurants remove such a CRITICAL part of the entire website: the different types of notifications for orders coming in. They have removed the fax option completely, why I do not know. Now I have almost all of my clients that I’ve set up with Wix websites that relied on the faxing options calling me looking for alternatives. What’s the alternative? Automations? I’ve tried setting up a printers email address to receive and auto-print the orders with no success. Another option is one-at-a-time manual printout from the app? This slows down my clients processes big time when they have a million other things to be worried about. Before your change, my clients had NO COMPLAINTS and loved Wix. Three of them being with you since 2018 when I first started my marketing business. Now several of them have told me that they might be moving their website to a platform that accepts simple fax orders. Thanks a lot Wix for messing up the cash flow of my business. I always vouched for you like crazy, but I feel like Wix did a major mistake trying to redesign an online ordering system that was perfect before the way it was. You cant even revert back to the old restaurants way anymore either. It’s hurting my bottom line now. Hopefully I can save or find alternatives for my clients in time before they leave me to go somewhere else that accepts a SIMPLE fax order automatically with minimal effort.
