We’re making your WeWALK experience even better! Public transport features are now organized in the Voice Menu. You can easily navigate upcoming stops or repeat your current stop in the Voice Menu while using with the Smart Cane 2, even when your phone is locked! We’ve also improved the walking navigation experience. Language support has been expanded — WeWALK is now available in English, German, and Turkish. We’ve made several improvements to enhance your navigation experience and overall usability: Improved step-by-step navigation with increased location accuracy, clearer instructions, quicker re-routing, and smart cane control for app-initiated routes. Fixed an issue causing unexpected OTA update pop-ups. Added rotor compatibility with VoiceOver for smoother screen reader interaction. Upgraded the WeAssist SDK for a more seamless support experience.

We’re improving navigation on WeWALK Smart Cane 2. Follow the calibration steps after connecting your cane to the WeWALK app for a better experience. We are continuously improving the WeWALK experience. Smoother experience: The tab menu is now fixed on every screen, so you can switch between pages faster. Public transport lists have been renewed; you can view all options in a single "All" list and easily compare different transportation types based on your location. Multi-modal navigation has been improved, allowing a simpler flow while waiting for a bus. More control: You can check details of cane updates from the ""Check Updates"" screen. You can update through the pop-up or from this screen. Clearer and more accessible design: We have updated our designs for users with low vision. The progress bar for cane updates is now larger and easier to follow. On the Home screen, My Places, Navigation, Public Transport, and Explore sections now feature boxes in addition to text, readable via VoiceOver. "We keep improving WeWALK! This update overhauls how the app connects to your smart cane: pairing and automatic reconnection are now more reliable, your cane tells you out loud when it connects to the app, and cane sounds pick up right where they left off the moment the connection returns. We've made cane firmware updates more reliable and stable, and when you start calibration from the cane you now see a progress screen in the app. We've also strengthened large-text and VoiceOver support, and the voice assistant now lowers background audio while it's listening. Plus, we've made our WeASSIST* professional video call service even more stable. (*WeASSIST service is available in English in Australia, Canada, Ireland, United Kingdom, and United States.)"
