I love this app I first downloaded this app when I tried radar omega I didn’t like it as much so I went on safari and search up good weather app. Weather wise pop up I was like ooh what is this app and I realized this app is good and have the same ability that radar omega had. I was jumping by and screaming that I can finally track severe weather without using expensive apps! If you reach it this far to be honest I was gate keeping this app until I was watching Ryan hall hall live stream April 28th he shoutout this app I was like” nooooo” but I am still glad this app finally get the recognition it’s deserved I love this app and I can’t wait for the future update with what I heard on the live stream and I will definitely used the yall mode when it comes out.

5/5Amazing app! Just a couple of requests for the premium version.
I ditched RadarOmega for this app. It’s better in ALMOST every way. But there are just a couple of features I miss from that other app. First, I would love to see WeatherWise incorporate a feature that allows the user to draw a line or plot points, enter the current speed of the storm cell, and let the app show the estimated arrival time for locations on that path. This is a critical safety feature when tracking severe storms and tornadoes. I would also love to see an animated satellite loop instead of just the latest image. Finally, it would be great to have forecast models like hrrr, gfs, etc. I hope these things are in the pipeline, because this app is really that close to being perfect! Keep up the great work!

I like this app, especially the weatherwise home in the new widgets on the home screen. I wish you can like zoom the radar on the home screen like the widget like zoom it in to the radar wherever you want and you can like add the weather for your home on the weather thing and you can see the alerts and then you get notification When an alert happens I think that would be very beneficial and see future radar but honestly, this app is really good. I love this app and version and the radar widget can refresh automatically and there’s like a pet mode so you know when storms are coming and like so your pets are like not scared because they have storm anxiety And it gives you like a notification so your pets aren’t scared And you can like see if there’s like storms developing in area and will alert you

4/5Love it, but the widget
I love the app for so many different reasons that I can’t begin to explain, but the addition of the widget has changed my opinion a little. I was disappointed when there wasn’t a widget to quickly look at. Now that it’s added it’s focused on a part of the country that is not my home. I have my location set and I am even sharing my location. Yet it’s focused on a completely different area. Other complain is while on the app all the information takes up all the screen and it’s not clear on if I can just look at the map. Other than that, I love all of the features that are available for free users.

5/5Beats MyRadar!
Been a user and subscriber to MyRadar for a few years, but I wanted to try another app. Then I find WeatherWise, coming in with radar to radar reflectivity, velocity, and other radar products all for FREE, compared to MyRadar. Instantly WeatherWise was a hit to me. The continuous updates the team have been putting out are great. The amount of storm chasers I can instantly watch via the app is useful to see what a nasty storm on radar is looking like. The recent update of iOS notifications support and critical alert notifications support has finally pushed me to replace MyRadar with WeatherWise. Definitely recommend this app to any weather enthusiasts. Hoping to see a CarPlay app soon!

Greatest App Ever. Full of info, but has a tough learning curve in the beginning with lots of pop-ups of new features. The features are great though, and the pop ups are probably necessary to show the new additions. I live in a tornado-prone area, and the application shows exactly where the crazy storms are located. this really helps myself and my family stay safe.

Edit: dev helped me find this setting. It needs an option to default to the most recent COMPLETED model run. Instead of the most recent - which is always "in progress" i.e. not complete... So every time you open the app, you have to tap ten times to select the most recent completed model manually. Big deterrent from use.

          "body": "I ditched RadarOmega for this app. It’s better in ALMOST every way. But there are just a couple of features I miss from that other app. First, I would love to see WeatherWise incorporate a feature that allows the user to draw a line or plot points, enter the current speed of the storm cell, and let the app show the estimated arrival time for locations on that path. This is a critical safety feature when tracking severe storms and tornadoes. I would also love to see an animated satellite loop instead of just the latest image. Finally, it would be great to have forecast models like hrrr, gfs, etc. I hope these things are in the pipeline, because this app is really that close to being perfect! Keep up the great work!",

I wish you can like zoom the radar on the home screen like the widget like zoom it in to the radar wherever you want and you can like add the weather for your home on the weather thing and you can see the alerts and then you get notification When an alert happens I think that would be very beneficial and see future radar but honestly, this app is really good. I love this app and version and the radar widget can refresh automatically and there’s like a pet mode so you know when storms are coming and like so your pets are like not scared because they have storm anxiety And it gives you like a notification so your pets aren’t scared And you can like see if there’s like storms developing in area and will alert you",

I was disappointed when there wasn’t a widget to quickly look at. Now that it’s added it’s focused on a part of the country that is not my home. I have my location set and I am even sharing my location. Yet it’s focused on a completely different area. Other complain is while on the app all the information takes up all the screen and it’s not clear on if I can just look at the map. Other than that, I love all of the features that are available for free users.",

          "body": "Been a user and subscriber to MyRadar for a few years, but I wanted to try another app. Then I find WeatherWise, coming in with radar to radar reflectivity, velocity, and other radar products all for FREE, compared to MyRadar. Instantly WeatherWise was a hit to me. The continuous updates the team have been putting out are great. The amount of storm chasers I can instantly watch via the app is useful to see what a nasty storm on radar is looking like. The recent update of iOS notifications support and critical alert notifications support has finally pushed me to replace MyRadar with WeatherWise. Definitely recommend this app to any weather enthusiasts. Hoping to see a CarPlay app soon!",
