3/5Not working properly at this time
This app is very valuable, but there's no way to contact the Makers and let them know what's going on. Presently even after having this app for years, I am unable to open the app and get the information I need for my very large Facebook page. You guys need to contact me as soon as possible or just fix the problem. Thank you. MA PS It would be a very good change if you were to make a way for your paying clients to contact you through your app directly ( instead of having to write a comment on some other platform like X) after all, those of us who have your app are the ones who are paying. I don't want to try to enter my questions in a "forum". It's too difficult to contact you, and I was unable to post anything from your SpaceWeatherLive app for days and no way to contact you directly. I would also love it if you would make real time live updates for solar, flares, etc., like you used to. Thank you for your attention to these matters. The reason I'm writing this here is because I can't contact you directly.

5/5I love this app
First I’ll say I absolutely love this app. I’ve been using it for several years now. I’ve shared it with several friends and I think the co tent is really amazing for a free app and it’s even got more content that some paid apps. That being said, the new update that I downloaded caused ads to start playing. I have no problem with ads. I understand people have to make money somehow. But the ads being used are not allowing me to renter the app. I’m having to close the whole thing and go back in. Some of the ads have an “x” to get out of it but most of the time the one playing does not. Are you able to control that? Is there any way for you all to make sure the game ads that just continue to play and have no button to bring me back to the app are not used? It’s really disappointing because this app was always so easy to use before that. Either way, thank you for making such an amazing app! Keep up the good work.

1/5Ads have ruined a great app. Do not download version 1.8.1
I wrote a review several days ago but it never got posted. Kind of funny there haven’t been any reviews posted in the last month (as of now, May 8 - most recent review is one in April & several in March talking about the awful update and the ad problem.) So I’ll write another review and see what happens. Listen to the other reviews - Do not update this app if you already haven’t. Old versions had unobtrusive small ads, but the new version 1.8.1 has those really obnoxious pop-up ads that take over your screen and have a countdown so you can’t do anything until the timer ends. All the developer has to say to the negative feedback is oh well now you can buy a subscription to get rid of the ads for a reasonable fee blah blah blah. There are many users who’ve been using this app for years & you guys suddenly made it virtually unusable unless you pay a reoccurring fee which is pretty much forcing people who’ve been using the app regularly into having to buy your subscription. That’s bad business. It would be one thing if you offered a SpaceWeather Light version with ads and a paid SpaceWeather Pro version without ads - and by paid I mean a one time purchase price upfront, not a “subscription”. That way people would know what they were getting into upfront and they would choose the app version that suits their needs. I would be actually be willing to pay for an ad free version —- but only the way I described it, not the trashy sneaky way you guys have made it. I understand that you need to have ads to support free use but this is just ridiculous. You’re losing loyal customers, you’re ratings in the App Store have gone way down, your ranking in weather apps has gone way down. What is it going to take for you to stop these annoying ads and go back to the way it was?

1/5The ads are the worst to deal with I’ve ever seen.
I saw this app recommended by a photographer. I tried it, and I have never seen such obnoxious and persistent ads, none of which pertain to me. They fill the whole screen and play for a long time. Even when they stop running most of the time they don’t close and it is hard to find a way to get them off the screen and see the app. If they have a visible x on screen when I press it the App Store opens to the advertised app. From what I can see of the app you put a lot of work into it and the graphics are great. However, the ads seem designed to force you to buy a subscription in order to use it and not be frustrated. This is so coercive I will not buy it. I set up the alerts. I will read them on my watch but I will not pay for this product just because you made it obnoxious in the free version. I saw a post that said you have no control over the ads. Yet every other app I use in the free version has tolerable levels of advertising material.

5/5Great app. Replaces all previous competitors
I am a solar physicist by training and had been using a different app to stay up to date, but that app was not maintained and was expensive. This app has everything that I had hoped would be included, making it by far my top choice for looks at the Solar-Terrestrial interface, solar activity. Because it has so much, organizing it surely presented a challenge to the authors. Occasionally I’ll think, “I wish they had included __________” only to find that if I hit the right tab, the data I wanted is there! When new to the app, be sure to look around every corner. It includes data from SDO and STEREO, plus all of the usual solar-terrestrial indexes, images of the auroral zone etc. Nice job!
