   If you don’t have the App yet then you need to download it right away . It makes things much easier, I can pay my bill with just a couple taps . One thing I love I can just tap my App and see what my balance is . I can see when the due date is . Then that makes it easier to pay my bill on time . I did not grow up with the internet , so I don’t like using it . However I have no problem using the app, it’s so easy. You can see what you paid compared from last year . You can see exactly how much you pay from month to month. I would highly recommend using this App !

2. 5/5A Complete App

   We live in a rural area of the UP & most all information I need I get in the palm of my hand. I can pay my bill with a couple of clicks from the app, I can monitor the outages in our area, and I can report an outage if we have one. My only complaint is that there was a widespread intentional power outage for some upgrades to the infrastructure. I got no notification ahead of time. Had it not been for my neighbor telling me I would not have known of the outage. Minor inconvenience. We turned on our portable generator for about three hours, and there was minor inconvenience.

3. 1/5We Energies App does not work after recent update

   After downloading the most recent required update I've found that no matter what I try I cannot access the app, even after updating the app it just continues to say “Update Required”….”A new version of the app is available. To improve your experience , please update the app to continue using it”. For context I have an IPhone X. Alternatively I can login to the We Energies website in my browser and pay that way, though it’s slightly more inconvenient and I preferred the app which worked fine before. Overall I’m disappointed in this app seeing as I can longer use it, and I’m a bit perturbed at the We Energies IT team for creating this issue especially given that it’s been over a month now without any fix.

   while it does have some nice features, the very first thing that this app did was it forcibly enrolled me in electronic statements, without asking. What a great way to make a first impression. Some of us do not want to have to log into dozens of different websites for all of our banks, investments, utility providers, services, and other statement-generating businesses every month. It is in no way easier or better for the end user. I do not want to be tasked with having to keep track of all of these, and I still have to download and print many of them out for tax purposes, so it is better just to have them mailed through the USPS, which is simple and reliable. I am tired of hearing the lie of how much easier electronic statements are, and I highly resent being automatically enrolled without even being asked. it just shovels more work off on to the consumer, and is a poorly disguised attempt to reduce We Energies costs of doing business.

5. 1/5Can’t log in on the app!!

   Something is wrong with the app! It was working fine for awhile but I’m no longer able to log in on my phone. I keep getting an error message saying my email address or password is not correct. I’ve had to go on my laptop instead… where the exact same email address and password is used to successfully log in with. If the email and password work to log me in on my laptop, then I shouldn’t be getting the error message from my phone app that they’re not correct! I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but that hasn’t helped either. I’ve carefully retyped the info multiple times, even though it is in my stored passwords that used to log me in with no problem. :(
