1. 5/5the ONLY app w/FREE DAILY updates

   As I said, you won’t find another site that gives you daily updates for free. TransUnion themselves offers that for $20 or so a month, it’s free here, and it updates not just your score but the report data as well, and breaks it all down for you pretty well/gives a summary of what you’re doing well and what you can improve on, and generally is a decent resource for every bit of data one has in their credit report. They also help you find and sort cards that are a decent match for your credit score and based on the type of card. It’s one of 3 must have credit apps for me, and for most would be fine as their only/primary credit score resource. The app works well/quickly/smoothly unlike Credit sesame who used to offer daily updates too, but credit sesame is complete trash now and not worth the space on your phone/time it takes to load the site. Credit karma was the hands down best, & still has the best app & website experience in my opinion & the benefit of giving both TransUnion and Equifax scores, it updates weekly. Free Credit Score dot com has an app too, they were bought by Experian & it’s now free & gives you your actual Experian FICO score, that’s the only real free online FICO score I think, definitely for Experian at least. Anyhow so I use Credit karma for TransUnion & equifax, & free Credit score/Experian app for Experian scores, & WalletHub for daily updates, and that has me covered for all 3 Credit buereau’s, you can’t really ask for much more.

2. 5/5Helps To Keep Me Updated on my Score

   There are no changes to the review I previously wrote(see below). I’m looking forward to how the app communicates the change to the FICO scoring model impacts an individual. Hopefully they are prepared because scores may decrease for some and increase for others. Regardless, I anticipate this app to continue with its stellar performance. I love this app! I cannot speak to the accuracy of the score when it comes to how different lenders will grade you, but at the very least you get an understanding of your strengths and weaknesses. For me, I have been battling to get my credit utilization under control, which I would have not thought about until using this app. The report analysis gives you enough corrective suggestion, if you receive a low grade, to develop a plan to course correct your credit behaviors. Not to mention there are alerts that describe when items added, or removed, as well as, credit limit changes. This is better than checking your credit report annually, which is still something you want to obtain so you can see your payment history and other pertinent data related to your credit file. Again, I love this app!!!!

3. 4/5Why I Appreciate WalletHub!

   I feel what WalletHub does is provide a real world interpretation of what is happening with my credit. Unfortunately, their assessments are limited by what the three main bureaus provide. Those scores are not necessarily up to date. And because of that, what you see is not an absolute representation of where you actually are. In other words, it’s a glorified guess! Armed with that understanding, I believe WalletHub considers that and give a score that best represents where you are. When I learned that the three bureaus are actually owned by the companies that grant you credit... What’s wrong with that picture? It allows them to charge interest rates that are governed by your credit score, by the very bureaus they own. I don’t know who owns WalletHub, but hats off to them. I appreciate what they do! I love how they show me how I compare with others in my age and income groups. That alone helps you to appreciate that whatever steps you are taking to improve your credit, gives you a sense of where you are. I only wish they would grab another bureau or two to add to those score comparisons. Otherwise, bravo! I gave them 4 stars because their scoring is tied to forces beyond their ability to control. Once they become a principal bureau, and control their ability to score based upon their ideology...I will give them 5 stars!!!

4. 5/5Best Company Ever!

   I am a subscriber to every single credit reporting agency. Have been for years. I’m a stickler about my excellent credit and like to stay on top of it. I have NEVER had a late payment. So....one day I get a notification from Wallet Hub. It says it notices I have a credit card that is missing a monthly payment. I was like hmmmm...I don’t think so, but I clicked the provided link and it told me exactly which credit card. Upon my investigation I did in fact forget to make my payment. I immediately called my credit card company and told them I guess doe to the hectic holidays I just overlooked it. They reversed the late fee and said they understood and the important thing is that it was only a day or two late. Important!: did any of the other credit reporting apps bring this to my attention? NO! Which in all honesty is something I didn’t expect. This situation could have turned out a lot worse if it was not for Wallet Hub swiftly bringing this oversight to my attention. Talk about an amazing feature???!!!! Love it!!!! Thanks guys for making Wallet Hub the absolute best at monitoring credit!!!!! 😃🙌🏻👍🏻

5. 5/5Provides a needed service

   I love this app as I feel behind on some of my bills during Covid and things spiral from there. Ended up having to use a credit card to pay for my monthly bills .. wasn’t long before I missed a few payments and was late on some others .. This app brings all that pertinent information to one place where it is organized and easy to navigate .. I really like the feature that tells you how your score will be affected if I do certain things with any of my accounts .. I knew that closing a credit card after paying it off reflects negatively on my credit.. but I didn’t know how significant and I didn’t know the impact of a refinance as sometimes I forget to calculate in the change in interest rates in some of my loans .. the app does all the heavy lifting and these days anything that takes some of the burden and stress off of me I’m all about .. my credit has gone up 25 points in the last two months since I began using this app

   first day download and my account is locked for 30 days. the setup process would not accept my SSN. several attempts, ofcourse im inputting it slowly and correctly. i am using 2 other apps that work fine. maybe i will wait 30days or just uninstall it soon.
