1. 5/5It’s surprisingly good

   So I heard about this app from a friend who was messing around with other people, and he told me to get it. I thought it would be like those Walkie-talkie sets you can get at a toy store, so I was surprised when I found out that not only does it work like an actual radio, with thousands of channels to listen in to, but people from all over the world can talk to you. It reminds me of the old chat rooms, except this time it’s with voices. There are some bugs here and there, like how sometimes you’ll just stop receiving transmissions but you won’t know, and to fix it you have to turn off and turn it back on, or when out of the blue the channel will just kick everyone out, but these problems are far and few between, and I wouldn’t even consider dropping the app because of them. Overall, this is probably the best app I’ve seen in a long time!

2. 4/5A few things that could be changed

   Well for starters, this is pretty great working app for a walkie talkie, although some key components would be great in my opinion. First, offline interaction. This would be great to use on the go for those who’s phones are off or if someone doesn’t want to spend data calling or texting someone. Secondly, a way to see how many people are online on the specific channel your on. Third, a way to save specific channels in case you have multiple channels you’d like to remember. Fourth, notifications of when someone is trying to contact through your channel, something as simple as “call from channel **:**” would be enough to let someone know that person is trying to make contact. That is all, great work devs, this is a really amazing app and I hope there is more to come!

3. 2/5Orchestrating Suspensions

   It’s a pretty nice app, although there is a significant amount of trolls on the app who join just so they can pop into a party and yell obscenities, there are users who do enjoy intellectual discussion or the exchange of culture. Unfortunately, many users on the dominate and troll the platform in an evil manner. Many users will report random other users due to their own emotional volatility, but in most cases, it is orchestrated by individual or groups of trolls who seek to bully other online users by banishing them from the platform using outdated passive reporting mechanisms. You see, if about five users report you, you get suspended for an entire week. It doesn’t matter if you weren’t violating anything. Other users can select a reason, and apply it. If you talk about how you love other people and you love seeing other people do well, other troll users could reframe this sexually and then orchestrate your ban just for the fun of it. This is happening more and more often to the point that being on the app is not fun. It’s the main reason why I have not bought a subscription. *Why would I buy a subscription for an app that continues to suspend me every single week? I only get to be on the app for about 20 minutes before a ban.* Maybe you could put a little bit more work into your app and instead of creating voices for people to use you could fix the bug that allows other users to orchestrate other people’s weekly suspension by passive outdated mechanisms.

4. 3/5Plenty of room for improvement.

   While new to this app, can see that it is a work in progress., and there are a few things that would make it better. | 1) When holding down the UP/DOWN channel buttons it changes channels too quickly, and would be better if it started slowly and got progressively faster the longer the button is pressed. | 2) Make muting someone persistent for a period of time (maybe 15 minutes or so), so they cannot circumvent mute by simply leaving and rejoining the channel. | 3) When muted, it should be a "2-way" mute so that the muted party also cannot hear whatever is being said by whoever muted them. | 4) Add 2 buttons next to each saved friend on the friends list to either send or accept invitations to a private channel rather than having to use some 3rd party messaging app. This would be a huge improvement. | 5) Have a help page or some sort of documentation with clear instructions on how everything works, so figuring it out isn't just left up to experimentation. | There are things I do like about this app and it is practical for meeting and chatting with folks from all over the world. It is a shame though that there are so many malicious trolls out there that get their kicks by using the app to be rude and insulting toward others. We were however warned, and guess in todays day and age this is to be expected. Overall though the app is quite intriguing, so went ahead and signed up for the monthly subscription. There is room though for plenty of improvement, and hope the developers keep up the good work and keep this project moving forward with more useful enhancements. After it becomes a bit more refined I will probably give it another star. Update: Have tried the app for a couple weeks and am now cancelling the subscription. Listening to all the insults and profanity is enough. Will keep an eye on future updates in case they figure out how to clean this up. Too bad there are so many thousands of malicious trolls out there ruining this. And I am dumbfounded by how many parents are out there actually letting their children use this app and subjecting them to this garbage. This is wrong.

5. 4/5Pretty Good, Some issues

   I found this app off tiktok. It’s a pretty good app and you can talk to many people from around the world and make new friends. It’s also a really easy way to communicate with people by just putting in random or specific coordination of numbers to get to certain or random people. If you want to find your new internet best friend, I would definitely recommend this. But, with every app, there are some downs. For about 3 days now, I’ve been trying to get on but it keeps popping up with “Error 404” or different signs like that. It’s been also happening to my friends too. Also, I feel like the limit of people you can have in a room is too small (being only 4). Maybe you can extend it to 10 or 7. Otherwise, this app is pretty good and I recommend it to anyone! :)
